"AAAAAHHH," For as much breath as they'd lost throughout the run, Oisier sure had a lot left in them to scream. There was far too little footing out here and far, far too many trees.

With grace that could only be caused by blind luck, Oisier kicked off a stump half-buried in snow. The sudden jolt caused the sled to pivot, narrowly missing an even larger tree. Oisier was thoroughly disoriented, but otherwise unharmed.

"I-! We meant to do that!" They yelled into the wind.

If there was highblood ganging up, Keionx didn't see it. In fact, she saw very little teamwork on the field, aside from between partners... and for some, that seemed to be breaking down. It was honestly sad -- when trolls worked together, they could do great things. Heroic things. They could change even the most solid systems, win the most unwinnable battles. It had been hard to see that even a hero could not always work alone, but when she had, she had realized that they could all be heroes. Once she had, she had grown ever happier with the path she had taken.

In this case, the lack of teamwork was a blessing and a curse. It meant that no threat would be bigger than the rest from sheer numbers, but it also meant that a threat could come from any direction at any time. They would need to be vigilant.

The purpleblood considered what she could really say on the matter. When she said she'd been considering it, what she really meant was that she'd thought about it a handful of times without making any real decision. Giving herself a moment she turned her head back to him, eyes still facing the course as she replied, ”I dunno man, just like...I want to present my best self of whatever, y'know? Like, I feel like 'Lil Mak' is dope and everything, but I wanna be putting out a sound that's really uh, really 'me,' or something. Y'know? Like I want to figure who I am a bit more, and then I can like, be that. But like, on stage too. Yeah. It's whatever!”

She turned back to the course.

”Just somethin' for me to think about.”

She smiled at his offer. ”Thanks a bunch! I'd love to come play a gig sometime, that'd be tight! What kinda talent ya got in there these days?”

Makkah was something of a dim bulb, but she knew enough about her major skill set to know that the audience you play to is a little important!
