Rooster Teeth isn't a show, it's an online production company. They do a number of web series. Such series include:
Red vs. Blue - The cornerstone of Rooster Teeth, upon which the company was founded. It was originally supposed to be a short series based in the original Halo game's multiplayer, but became incredibly popular and now spans 15 seasons long.
RWBY - pronounced "Ruby", this series follows the stories of four girls (Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long) in a world plagued by monsters. These girls are enrolled at a school which trains students to becomes hunters and huntresses in order to fight said monsters. Further, the students are grouped into teams of four, after which the headmaster gives them a name that is an acronym of the first letter of the first name of the team members, and chooses a leader. Hence the name of the show. Ruby, Weiss, Blake, Yang. RWBY.
Let's Play - There is a subdivision of Rooster Teeth known as Achievement Hunter, which is somewhat sizable, and centered around six main hosts (including one of the original members of Rooster Teeth). This show is pretty much them doing some (chaotic) activity in a video game, most notably GTA V and Minecraft.
Theater Mode - Ever seen Mystery Science Theater 3000 or listened to a Rifftrax? This is Achievement Hunter's version of that. It's also reserved for those who financially support the company through their website. Pretty much, they have a movie for the viewers to watch, and they comment on it as it plays. |
