Aquos had spent most of his week relaxing. He met up with Payne a few more times during the trip and he had fun. He had enjoyed the ocean waters and exploring the jungle and just taking in what the island had to offer. It was really nice. he was even looking forward to party.

The party had started slow, most seemed to gravitate to who they knew either from meeting on the boat or from the island. He really had kept to himself and thus found himself alone. Well...That wasn't smart of him. He should have gotten to know a few others during his time. Oh well.

Dressed in his snazzy tux and keeping to himself by the food. He spotted a lonely wilwarin and gave her a friendly smile- was that little squirrel by her? Aquos blinked a few times and then rubbed his eyes before looking back to the wilwarin. She...She was everything he'd ever dreamed about in a mate. So prefect and beautiful. Any mintue now she was going to come over to him and sweep him off his feet and they'd had such a wonderful life together forever and forever....Course that dreamy look he was now giving poor Eleadora was probably more unsettling then he probably realized.

Harmonia had to take the long way round to find Tristien again, there was chaos on the dance floor. Hearing her brother yell, something she didn't know he was capible of, was surprise enough. The name answered everything for her as if the running Spartian Deity wasn't enough of a give away.

My her brother was spirited, for good reason she gathered. Stepping back to avoid being run into, she bumped against the bar. That itself wasn't bad, as it happened she had one of her arrows still in her hand. Said arrow hit its mark in the male quite by accident. More concerned he might see her, Harmonia was quick to take to the air in hopes of finding her beloved champion above the bedlam below.

Harlequin is having his own Cinderella moment! He has been poked my Harmonia's arrow causing him to see woodland critters and will believe the first pae he sees is his Prince Charming

There are few things in this world you can call truly dumb ideas.

This had quickly become one.

Phaenna had stopped dead in her tracks as she felt her brother's arrow fly right by her face. It was almost as if time had slowed, her gaze followed the arrow that had almost hit her. She was shocked.

"Did..Did you just...DID YOU JUST TRY TO HIT ME ON PURPOSE POTHOS?" Her voice rang out dripping with rage. There was a line and he had crossed it.

The Spartan gripped her spear and threw it with such force that it knocked a few feathers from Pothos' wings as it hurled by him and impaled itself into the face of one of Mother's many paintings.

"THE SECOND I CATCH YOU YOU'RE DEAD MEAT POTHOS!" Her anger could be felt by all the guests in the room. With her warning echoing in the air the Grace once again started to barrel at her brother though she was lacking that playful tone she just had. Now, if she caught him, she was poised to rip him limb from limb with her bare hands.

Shansa saw the chaos that was being caused by her family arrows out the the corner of her eye. The loud yell of Phaenna caught her attention enough to look to see what was happening. Oh it seemed like Phaenna and Pothos where fighting. She hoped that they would be careful while the fought as to not hurt any of the guests or worse anger mother.

Turning to the mortal who had also noticed the commotion that was happen and had asked her about it, Shansa paused for a moment to try and think about how to respond, the mortals couldn't see the arrows, and you couldn't tell them about them either. "Hmm well yes, it does tend to get rather rowdy as these parties a lot, there are a lot of pae and a lot of drinks, some paeple aren't great at handling their liqueur you know? I'm not sure how other land parties are though they tend to be smaller in scale. "

"Nothing really, they're just like this..." she answered in a disinterested tone, neither her eyes nor body turning to pay him any attention. If he could find any positives, at least she was still responding to his questions?

For now, anyways...

At the commotion between the brother and sister down below, Saira smirked, wholeheartedly observed in watching it. It wasn't often she got to enjoy such displays of amusement, but this was one of the few locations where they never seemed to cease to occur. "Can you even believe this?" she mumbled to mostly herself, a hollow cackle barely audible past her lips.

Upon swallowing her food, Hatil laughed lightly, quite pleased by both the taste of what she'd received and the fact he'd enjoyed what she'd offered him. It would have been terrible if it hadn't been to his liking! However, that wasn't the case.

Good.

No problems here.

Unlike the rest of the place. As it on some random cue, everything seemed to be falling to pieces much as it had the year before. Strange. Her head cocked as her eyes looked between different pae exhibiting very strange, very incomprehensible actions.

"Look how funny they're acting... What do you think happened?"

Seneca shut the door behind her and headed towards the event hall. Pleased with herself of having helped mother get ready, she headed off to the party a little sooner to give Venus a little space of her own before her grand entrance.

With Mother... all entrances were grand...

Much like this party! Seneca couldn't help but giggle softly at all the decor that was use. It was so like her...

However, her smile quickly faded into confusion at the sound of voices shouting, cries of anger and... were those familiar voices?! Fluttering faster into the room, she caught sight of a... scrambling Pothos and a somewhat charging Phaenna.

Panic and also a twinge of anger swelled into the shy and quiet Younger Grace, and before she could stop herself, her wings zipped her to hover between the two, eyes narrowed at Phaenna first.

"Stop it, you two!" she started in an unusually harsh tone. Immediately recognizing what she was doing, she seemed to freeze in an instant... but she forced herself to continue and finish what she started....

Swallowing hard, she balled up her fists, first finishing her thought while looking at Phaenna still. "Do you not realize what you two are doing?"

She asked, then looked to Pothos. "Mother will be along shortly. What do you suppose she'll say when she sees you both fighting?!" Eyes, darting back to Phaenna. "And on her special day, no less!"

Now her gaze flitted back and forth between them. Mother help her if Phaenna turned her rage on her! Seneca wasn't a fighter. Practically everyone in the family knew that at this point, but it was obvious that seeing such a display likely hit a nerve that triggered a bit of the unusual in her.

She'd definitely need an evening ALL to herself after this.

Kelebek was pleased to be joined by little dancing cherubs all around her, and even some of the other Pae in attendance got in on the fun! As the music wound to a close, she ended her dance with a flourish and a bow, laughing, red-cheeked and happy.

And then, it seemed like a haze cleared from her eyes, and it felt like all the blood drained from her body. Had she really done that? In front of all those people?! "Oh....." she moaned, covering her face with her hands and sinking down into the pool, puddling on the bottom. Between the pink lights and her power of bio-luminescence kicking in from embarrassment, she became a bit hard to see, more like a vibrating outline as she trembled from anxiety, and Hjortur could still see the motion of her hair swishing around her.

Surely this was it. This was when he'd realize that she'd never be charming or fun or exotic....just a clumsy little fish not worth anyone's time.

Ignatious shook his head after a moment or two of shocked silence.

No... way...!!

Oh, right! Breathing!

"Y-you're a...?" he half stammered. "Y-you're!... a... N--.."

Hands went into his hair, pulling it slightly in his shock. OF COURSE the had legs on land! Duh, Iggy! "Whoa!"

He laughed a bit and recollected himself. "Sorry. I uh... I was not expecting that!"

"It's just," He seemed to go searching for the right words. "I've always wanted to meet one, yano? Gah! Thank my lucky stars for finding you then! This is fate! This is fate, right?"

Xanthous spotted them come in shortly after he began his search. He began to drift down to the two fauny when one of them began acting strangely... acting like there was something far more entertaining and interesting on the stage other than a few tikicats...

Figuring he'd leave her to her own devices, he then turned his attention to the other Fauny the first was with. The bright yello-- Ow!

Feeling a pinch, he turned, looking around for anything that might be sticking out of his thigh... Weird... nothing was there...?

Shrugging it off, he continued his descent. Only this time, when he focused his attention back on the fauny, he was suddenly overwhelmed with awe and pride for the individual!

His feet touched the ground and he cleared his throat. For the moment, he seemed to mostly ignore the other individual talking to her. He just had to get her attention at this point.

With a very brief and apologetic smile to Himeros, "Excuse me..." he brushed past the male. "May I just say that, it is an honor to be face to face with another fauny again..." he started, extending a hand to the yellow maiden.

There was a small twinge of confusion on his face as if he was internally struggling with himself on how to approach this. What the hell was wrong with him? He couldn't quite place it? He was coming in to ask about Fortissimo, but instead was now idolizing another? Odd...

It hadn't taken much ability to assume he'd had a father, what with his being surprised of their two mothers and all. What was surprising, however, was how he reacted to it. Making no changes to her body language other than to glance over at her sister, taking note of her raised eyebrow. Yes, wasn't this strange after all?

"His... reign...?" he parroted back, the term somewhat unfamiliar to her. Surely this was his powers as a king, but from which kingdom he hailed, there was no telling. As she moved to open her mouth and ask further questions on the topic, she paused, shaking her head and commenting, "It's nothing" if prompted.

Man, this was a bit awkward...

As it comedically on-cue, the sound of music began to play somewhat near them. It had a fun little rhythm going on that paired quite well with that being played on stage, and it was catchy. Really catchy. Like she needed to dance catchy. As she sat in her spot, her shoulders began to instinctively shake left-up-right-down and the reverse in tune with the beat.

"Catchy music, huh?"

Did Pheanna really do that? She was dumbfounded as she stared at the spear embedded in one of their Mother's paintings. Oh dear.

Just how was she going to fix this? Looking between the Deities, Harmonia thought an awful lot about chucking an arrow at Pheanna if only to calm her down temporary. There would be a reckoning once the arrow wore off but at least the night would be spared and the mortals safe. Euphrosyne was a better choice than her own arrow and for far too long she actually considered the action.

That was until a younger grace stood up to her elder siblings. In that moment, she couldn't be more proud of Shansa. It would be wrong to allow her younger sister to stand on her own. At the same time, Harmonia wasn't about to take this victory from her. Regardless of how Phaenna reacted it was still a victory that she stood up like that.

To that end, Harmonia flew over to the damaged picture of their mother, of course they'd miss the picture of Eros and hit one of the dozens involving Venus. Reaching out, Harmonia yanked the spear free from its place taking the tattered picture of Venus with it.

A poor cherub out to relieved a drink to some pae or another was yanked out of the air, the drink falling. With a smile Harmonia instructed the creature, "You are to find an extra painting of Venus and replace it, hurry." Shooing the creature off, she took confidence in the idea that there would be more pictures of Venus in the wings to cover up this sibling spat.

Holding firm to the spear, Harmonia made her way towards Shansa flank supporting her sister but not about to try and upstage her.
