He almost falls over, his hind legs getting tangled up in his lower tails while the higher ones flop around looking for balance. It’s pretty silly. How do you spread holiday cheer? Flicking flame-blue eyes over his surroundings, the stallion bowed his proud neck and whuffled at the question. "I supposed by bringing gifts and a good attitude to any I may come across. This holiday season is a new experience for me, beyond Unbirthdays which we celebrate every day... This new, holiday idea takes a bit of growing into? But so far it has gone well."
Do you have any holidays? "I do not think Unbirthdays count as a holiday... Though the Solstices are recognized and celebrated by some of the Clan? You could say it is a work in progress."
Are you thankful for anything? "Oh yes, I am thankful for friends and family, for fellow traders, for tea and cakes. For flowers and sunsets, and constantly meeting new souls and making new friends. I hope all of it continues."
Has it been a good year? "Since it is my first, I should like to say so! I hope they continue to improve though, I will say that."
Did you meet anyone new? "As I am a young stallion, I have met only new friends this year. It has been busy and thrilling and eye-opening."

How do you spread holiday cheer? Shifting slightly on her hooves, the white mare gave a faint smile and a shy bob of her head. "Oh well, my family is very strongly musically inclined? So mostly we travel and sing, but visiting with friends and allies is always pleasant. We tend to also bring gifts or trade item as a holiday offering."
Do you have any holidays? "I can't say that I do personally, though my Clan has strongly acknowledged or celebrated the solstices when they have had a chance to convene."
Are you thankful for anything? "Oh, that's an easy one! I am thankful for all the family I have reunited with after so long being away... But I am also grateful for the experiences and how they shaped me, enabling me to return to my family better and stronger than I may have been otherwise. I have learned a lot, and I hope to share the lessons and compassion with those around me."
Has it been a good year? She hesitated for a moment, stretching and folding her wings before nodding. "Yes, a lot has come to pass, but it has been a good year. I am with my family again, and that makes my heart much lighter."

Would you wish upon a star?"Excuse me?" the tall angeni mare spoke in a rather bossy tone, "As if I'd ever tell you. That's for me to know".
Do you think this year will be better than the last?"Are you still here" she mumbled with a flash of green irritated orbs, "For you perhaps. Its been rather unsettling if you really must know."
Do you believe in a fresh start?"And yet another question. Fine I shall answer but seriously stop bothering me". Narrowing her eyes she scoffed, "Yes, Yes, whatever. I have places to go and things to see".
Would you wish upon a star?"Yes, I would. I have, actually." She smiles warmly, remembering the time the wishing star brought her heart's truest friend to her. Perhaps, they meant any star, but that one in particular... yes, she would again, if times were hard enough, though she had everything she had ever wanted in her Friend and her oddball little family.
Do you think this year will be better than the last? "I hope so." she smiled once more. "It is best to try for constant improvement, to always try to be better than you were the day before. To never stop being your best, and to hope that that capacity will increase through time." If you were not trying to be better, or at least the best version of yourself, what was the point? The same applied to years.
Do you believe in a fresh start? "Yes, I do." She had often felt that her life was... meaningless, before she found her true friend and a vulnerable little basket that would open to reveal a cute little Usdia that they would raise together. "No matter where you are in your life, if you are open to change.. great things can come anew."

"I suppose so." he had never really thought to ask for anything for himself, but as he had been guided to the mare Hina who would change the course of his life forever and introduce him to fatherhood... why, yes, if he could ask for things to others, fulfill others wishes in the asking... he would.
Do you think this year will be better than the last? "It shall..." he thought of the Usdia whose life was just beginning to warm their hearts. "We have a family now." His heart swelled with tenderness and pride. It felt good, to have a family again.
Do you believe in a fresh start? "Yes, I do." he was no stranger to fresh starts. After all, he was guided to a different future than he may otherwise have found by a special star.

Would you wish upon a star?The mare paused, hearing the question and considering the meaning behind the words. "I would first try my hardest to achieve whatever I had wished for... and if that did not work." she sighed briefly "I suppose I would not be above wishing, asking, for a little help."
Do you think this year will be better than the last?She thought of her favorite stallion, the stallion she thought she would spend the rest of her life with, and the possibilities that their union shared. "Yes, I do!" a pretty blush flitted over her cheeks. "I hope so. It will."
Do you believe in a fresh start?"Yes." her answer was firm. "I have started my life anew, outside the confines of the village I once new. A new life, with the stallion I wish to share it with." her heart fluttered and soared as she thought of him. "Ba-kho-je."

Would you wish upon a star? As if the mention of his name from his beloved summoned the stallion, Ba-kho-je came up and was treated to the same questions. He eyed the mare who would one day be his mate, and grinned. "Well. If we needed anything more, yes." Life was pretty good, with her. And that was an understatement.
Do you think this year will be better than the last? "I do." He peeked out from under his floppy mane, a slow grin spreading once more over his features. "There is a chance for change, and so far it has done well for us." Every new day was a chance for something brighter, something better than the day before. He couldn't exactly tell how it could be better, as he already had everything he had ever dreamed of in the wonderful mare beside him, but he.... felt... that something great was just around the corner.
Do you believe in a fresh start? He laughed. "I do. We... have already witnessed those things first-hoof." His mate had started her life anew, when she came to the wilds with him. And as fresh and exciting as it was, he would be a fool not to believe that any could come to a fresh start, if they were only willing to try again. To try something different, something new. And embrace where it lead them.
The pair moved away as another approached.

Do you think this year will be better than the last? She blinked. "Well, I hope so. Last year wasn't anything grand." They hadn't asked her to predict the future, after all, merely if she thought it would be better. She didn't know, so she said... the simple truth.
Do you believe in a fresh start? "It depends, I guess." she thought about those who were set in their ways, those who resisted change and denied all possibility of something different. She thought of those who embraced change, who welcomed differences with open arms. "It depends on the individual, but some may be capable of a fresh beginning." If they're open to it.
