Lisandru could have sworn he heard something that sounded like a serious Prisma in the direction Prisma had been talking from, and dared a glance over his shoulder. Did Prisma have her hair down? Where were the utensils? And why couldn't he hear her shouting over most everyone--oh Guardians what was she doing he had to be hallucinating was she seriously doing a come hither--
Yes, definitely, he was hallucinating.
No way was he actually seeing this.
He went back to picking at the buffet. There was no way that he was seeing the Prisma he knew, the one who called him Mister Lisandru Sir not Sicky Sick anymore Friendy Friend or whatever acting like some kind of seductive vixen. It didn't fit.
He could have swore he felt a pain deep in his skull.
Voluptas, in the meantime, was stunned to see the beautiful mortal take her hair down. Somehow, it only made her more beautiful. The Seduction Goddess made a distressed noise, realizing what this signified. Her arrows found their mark. They worked. This couldn't've been one of those ineffectual times!
Oh why, but she wanted the most beautiful mortal for herself!
But watching her, still, was absolutely eye-taking, and Voluptas watched as the woman who was previously so hyper and giddy suddenly turned serious and almost took a page from her book.
She was proud.
Voluptas sniffled lightly at both the fact that the beautiful mortal was seducing someone else, and that her own tactics were reflecting in the mortal so well. They learned so fast...Fea Line Prisma - I couldn't resist having Lisandru notice u u

No, she certainly didn't need any of this. Criofan would find the silvery fae in agreement there. What they didn't need, however, was to test their luck in a crowded room with deities running about. Reaching out to adjust the item that the other had dropped, Ei-Kal gave him a sympathetic smile. There was always going to be more treasures, even if they might not be the ones in this room, for this occasion, on this table, right in front of them, relatively unguarded. That, Ei-Kal supposed, was the rub. Even he, without the same compulsive collecting urge, could understand that. It wasn't like any of the items would be missed and, surely, they were only going to be shoved into a room somewhere anyway. Where no one would be there to appreciate them. To someone like Venus, surely they were just another drop in the bucket. At the same time, however, Ei-Kal did not want to tempt Criofan and himself being made to kick the bucket. That would hardly do anyone any good either and that was something Ei-Kal was considerably more invested in preventing. And so, when he saw his mate's hand reach out towards the table again, he gently wrapped his fingers around Criofan's wrist and pulled his hand away. At the same time, he attempted to slip himself between Criofan and the table, fanning his wings slowly. If that didn't get the blond's attention, Ei-Kal was more than prepared to back it up, leaning in to press their foreheads together. "Come on~" ---- Vice grip. Breathing. Air. Breathing. Life. At least it was quick, and Kheliot gasped for air as quietly as he could when she let him go to keep dancing. Admittedly, that happy squeal had made him smile again. He was just about to rejoin her once he caught his breath when he, too, heard the challenge. He was considerably less sure of it than his sister, however, and shot her a nervous look when she looked at him with that wide-eyed, excited gaze. He knew what was coming next. And the bouncing confirmed it, making the question that followed absolutely what he expected. Reflexively checking to be sure she wasn't accidentally tapping someone else with her fluttering wings, he mulled it over. But only for a moment, because Zaria would want an answer as soon as possible and he didn't want to keep her waiting. "I... guess we could try?" A god was a very intimidating being, but... if there was someone he could hardly tell 'no', it was Zaria. Zaria wouldn't let him get hurt, or anything, right? Plus this was a party, not an actual fight. So he'd be fine. Totally fine. Completely fine. He started over that direction before his courage could fail him, assuming Zaria would follow.

Szoorne wasn't necessarily ready to be prey, but he assumed he was, at the very least, not in any actual real, physical danger from Dagen. Of course, her lung capacity was greater than his, him not being used to having to hold his breath - gills were amazing things underwater, truly - and he was panting quite a bit when they paused. He could hear his heart pounding in his ears. He hoped she couldn't hear it herself. He didn't mind the crowd nearly as much as she did, preferring the presence of others at least in a general sense. Speaking of being on land, however, he had lost some of the steadiness in his legs throughout the kiss and wobbled a little when she tugged on his arms. The growling was a surprise to him, and he was a bit taken aback by it, but as long as she wasn't growling at him he decided to leave it alone. Oh now they were going towards the snack table. Alright. He wasn't really hungry - okay, he was, but - but found himself hardly able, or really even willing, to protest this course of action. Oh now they were going underneath the snack table. That's what was going on. There was not food involved in this, at all. Well, a little, but not like that. Oh. Oh.

Sparrow's feelings for Poliahu were not love; don't be mistaken. The girl was a pretty things, and she wanted the pretty thing all to herself. Sharing was not allowed. If she had movable ears, they would have been bent backwards. If she could his, it was likely that she would be to these two females trying to get her beauty.
She had not expected, however, for her treasure to pull away from her and run away. Pouting, she turned and glared at the other two. How dare they make her beautiful Poliahu feel like that!
Well, if she couldn't have them, neither could they!
If they tried to chase after her, the girl's feathers and claws were enough to stop their pursuits. That is... until a strange p***k hit her backside. Had she caught ticks or some sort of bug at this party?!
Looking around with a glare, a very lovely female came into view, all orange and glowing. It made her chest flutter and her vision hazy; what was this feeling? It was like her want to keep her beloved treasure near, yet softer. Like her yearning for the other, yet less desperate.
Eyes glancing to Artemis, she said softly, with a smile of course, "I'm going to go talk to her..." her finger pointed at Edana. "I'll meet up with you later."
At that, she headed off.

Well, that was good that he was leaving, he must have gotten the message then. Was she really so hard to approach or so strange looking that it would lead to simply just staring rather than walking over to make conversation?
Perhaps...
Instead of following him though, she did not notice the subtle cues to come and continued on in the direction she had been heading originally.

"Don't worry, it'll be fun~!" Her eyes deviously looked around for the perfect target.
Oooh, that seemed interesting.
Looking to a dark colored teenager sitting alone, she pointed him out. "Hey, I bet he wouldn't even notice if we snuck up on him to surprise him! How about it?" Innocent enough, for now. They could always escalate later...Malek was completely absorbed in looking around, unaware of his brother even being present at the party and at the prospect of being surprised.

There was another distressed, unhappy noise when Ei-Kal reached for his wrist.
It didn't matter that it was Ei-Kal. Someone was holding him back from what he needed. The collective impulse was almost the level of a compulsion, and it hurt to be held back from things that were just so easy to obtain. They were right there, nearly unguarded, and they were so close he could almost feel them. His fingers clenched and he whined, attempting to get beyond Ei-Kal's grip--
Ei-Kal spreading his wings didn't quite work, but the other man getting so close? That was enough to pull Criofan's mind back to the present, a soft grunt making it out of his lips as he looked into Ei-Kal's eyes. He needed to ... not do that. Right. Control it, do not let it control him...
... He was better than this ...
"Alright," mumbled Criofan, the tone more defeated this time. He kissed the other man's cheek, before turning his attention to the dance floor. "I guess there's better things to do than collect."
Though he wasn't entirely certain of that himself, he was certain there was something more important in front of him than a pile of stuff.

"Yay!" Zaria bounced like rubber at Kheliot's hesitant agreement. She knew her brother would agree! He may have been a nervous thing but he never rejected her when she gave him the big sad please eyes that she loved to flash him like the little imp she could be.
As Kheliot moved in that direction, Zaria wasted no time bounding after him, so they could walk side-by-side. "It'll be fun!" Zaria seemed to think so, anyway, with how absolutely excited she sounded about challenging a god. Most people may have been terrified.
She sure wasn't.
"We don't even have to win!" declared Zaria, as she bounded ahead of her brother.Amasis Ei-Kal & Kheliot -- moving Zaria and Kheliot to the game thread though~

Sweetie Belle laughed a little. "Still hair is overrated," she teased lightly and flipped hers over her shoulder. "See? It just sort of sits there." She blushed a bit as he pulled her closer, causing her to slide her arms a little closer around his neck. "Of course," she promised. Being so close to Wild Moon was exhilarating for her, and it showed in the way her heart raced and the way her cheeks seemed to have a permanent blush. "Are you?" she wondered. She hoped so. She didn't want to come off as boring to him. Ruzeh giggled a little when he seemed to wonder where he was supposed to put his hands. He was so adorable! "Good," she said and smiled up at him. "So this is nice..." She blushed softly. She really liked him...Ruaidhri snorted. "Yeah, right! I don't think so," he said and smirked. Setting his elbow on the table, he took her hand and the game was on. He didn't put his full strength into it at first; he didn't wanna hurt her. Yet. shicala Sorry x3 had a bunch of stuff to do today. dice sounds like a good decider! I'm gonna laugh so hard if Ruri gets lower than Lila LOL

Ei-Kal had honestly been expecting the protest when he pulled Criofan's hand away. He was familiar with Criofan's compulsion, recognised the sheer force of temptation that the items on the table represented by the look in his eyes. But his firm persistence paid off when it got Criofan to snap out of it. His thumb rubbed the underside of the other's wrist when Criofan met his gaze. He smiled encouragingly, reassuringly at Criofan's defeated tone, and he hummed quietly, affectionately, when Criofan kissed his cheek. There he went. Ei-Kal knew he could do it. He made a note to himself to make it up to Criofan later. Maybe go digging through some other locales of interest they'd noted and filed away for future reference. Or put an extra buffing into some of the metal and stone items in Criofan's hoard, to make them gleam. Arrange them to frame the most eye-catching pieces. So that Criofan would beam with pride when he looked at them. "Have you brushed up on your two-step lately?" Ei-Kal gently teased, returning the kiss to the cheek as he, too, looked out towards their environment.

Lila put all her weight into her arm, and went so far as to use both of her hands to TRY to win, but sadly there was no winning this arm wrestle. "Nooooooo" she said as her hand hit the table. She stood up after getting her hand back and put both hands balled into small fists on her hips "Okay then! Thumb War!" she knew she didn't really need strength for this and she was relatively quick so she had a chance. Strawberri Stardust don't worry I had to work razz

He grinned and did a victory pose. "Ha! I win!" he cackled. He snorted at her attempt at a win. "Sure, thumb war," he said. He could humor her, it wouldn't be that bad. Would it? He held his hand up for her in the appropriate position for a thumb war.

This time Lila turned her chair backwards and straddled it, she wanted to be the one who did that victory pose. She deserved to do it at least once! She grasped his hand "One, Two, Three, Four... I declare a thumb war... Bow... Curtsey... BEGIN!" her words were slow and deliberate as she moved her thumb in the appropriate movements to start this little 'battle'. As she started the fight her tongue stuck out slightly from the corner of her mouth and she had a look of sheer determination on her face.

Venus said, "Oh, don't worry, she'll be here soon I'm sure! She'd never abandon you!" The god of true love was certain that was true, although that certainty was beginning to falter. Where could Yukiko be? Certainly, if she were to be in trouble, someone would have gotten a message to him, right? He was a god! He could help her if she was in trouble. That he knew for sure.
His butterfly wings carried him through the party, zipping through stray arrows and Pae'il fawning over each other and even the drama between his brother and his sister Aglaia. Where had Aglaia gone, anyway? He could not see her anymore...
Ah. His father-in-law had an arrow sticking out of his butt. That was probably related.
Anteros would have normally gone over to help pull that out, but he was too busy pacing, trying to figure out where in Dolandor or Telrunya his Yukiko could be. She knew, right? She knew that today was the day of love and his mother's party. There was no way she could not have known. Perhaps, on the way there, something had taken her?
There was something else his mother had murmured to him.
"Or perhaps she's just not coming at all!"
That couldn't be it...
Anteros removed himself from his thoughts for a few moments, truly taking in the environment with all of these arrows. The Erote groaned. Couldn't they have just one party without all of this chaos?!

His two-step?
Criofan looked back at Ei-Kal, a bit of a sheepish smile on his face. "Not terribly much." After a pause, that sheepish smile turned into a wide grin, as he added, "I'm pretty sure there's enough luck between the two of us what I won't step on your feet, though." After all, Ei-Kal seemed capable of giving luck to others ... and Criofan knew he had his own level of luck.
Combined, maybe he wouldn't end up causing Ei-Kal any pain. After all, Criofan didn't exactly want to hurt Ei-Kal.
Dancing could be fun, especially since it was with the silvery faerie he called his own. Besides, it would get him away from the treasures so tempting get out of the way no, no, he was better than his temptations and Ei-Kal was far more important than some things in a pile from some goddess who had way too much anyway -- okay he needed to get away walk away really fast...
The golden faerie grabbed his silvery partner's hand and pulled him out towards the dance floor, weaving through the sometimes throngs of people surrounding just one Pae'il--were there some Pae'il celebrities here or something?--to end up as close to in their own little area as he possibly could in such a crowded celebration.
"May I have this dance?"
