David watched as the events unfolded he was hoping to get someone to fire at his goal. So far however nobody had so he took the time to watch the tryouts. It seemed that everyone trying out for beater were having a painful time even Xavier. 'I hope he's alright...' David thought before looking back at the chasers. Jacob was really good at blocking the quaffles. He didn't know how well he'd do but he'd totally try hopefully he could get Sam on his side despite being a first year.

Cameron gasped lightly when Tevya plummeted to the ground below. Were his hits that hard? The first year didn't make it seem like so through his many smiles and laughs after being hit. A moment later, another first year plummeted to the ground. Unsure of what to do, Cameron looked at Samuel, the team captain, and waited for instructions whether he should continue to try to hit targets, or just end the beater tryouts then and there.

Elli heard people fall to the ground behind her and spun around to see two first years passing out. She looked at Cameron, smiling gently. It sucked that the other two had been knocked out but she was glad he was ok. She turned to face Remy once again and sped up, reaching out once again to steal the quaffle.

Ⓡⓔⓜⓨ passed to Elli and smiled. "Go shoot. Work on that." she said as she flew to the ground. She landed beside Tevye and gently stroked the boy's hair. She lifted him in her arms and carried him to the bench and laid him down. She made sure he was comfortable for now, and took to the sky. She flew over to Sam and smiled. "Another one bites the dust!" she said in a sing-song voice. She giggled and blushed a bit as she looked at her captain.

Sam frowned as two more of the first years went down to bludgers. He called out to the people trying out. "Alright everyone! I think that's a rap. Land down here so I can talk to everyone!" Sam clapped his hands, pretty sure with his decisions for the team. After the practice, he'd run his choices by Remy.

Once David heard Sam call out to them he quickly flew down for a landing. Safely coming to a stop he wondered if he made the team. He really didn't get a change to try Keeper but figured Jacob had that sealed. He really hoped he'd be picked for chaser. It would make his father proud of him for once instead of always letting him down.

Ⓡⓔⓜⓨ smiled and flew after Sam. She looked over at him, her eyes staring beseechingly. What was he planning? Had he picked the team? Without her notes? She held her clipboard tightly and tucked the pen behind her ear. Her gold eyes reflected the sun, making them sparkle brightly. Her cheeks were a soft pink and she looked young and innocent.

With a bit of hesitation due to his delayed reaction, Cameron swooped down to the ground and planted his feet firmly on it. This is it. The boy shook slightly since he was nervous. Either he made the immediate team, or he didn't like the previous years.

Elli caught the quaffle as it was handed to her and was about to shoot it, when Sam called for them to land. She quickly flew down and tossed the quaffle towards him, before taking a spot in the circle around her captain. She glanced at Cam, who she happened to be standing next to and intertwined their fingers gently. Her mind was racing, she wanted to know who was on the team and if she had gotten the spot she wanted. She was excited for the new year and with the other beaters quitting or knocking themselves out, she was sure Cam had made the team this year.

I just want to say, even if you don't make the immediate team, you are still a Gryffindor Quidditch player. You should still come to practice because at any point, you may need to jump into the game. Now, if you'd like to stay and practice flying, you can. Otherwise, you'll hear from us in by the end of the week. Thank you for coming."

Ⓡⓔⓜⓨ nodded at Sam and followed him to the sidelines. "What do you think Sam?" she asked, smiling up at him. She hated it sometimes... how bloody short she was... but she wore heels to help. Today, she was wearing flats, and it showed. She looked positively miniature standing beside Sam. Her long hair was mussed from the wind, and her clothes looked no less windblown. Her gold eyes sparkled in admiration for her friend. "By the way, Congrats on making Captain."

Once Sam finished what he had to say David rushed over to the bleachers where Xavier and Tevye were blacked out. “Come on guys regain conciseness.” he said to them hoping they would be alright. David worried quite a bit about his friends. He was a true and loyal friend when it came down to it. Hopefully they would be okay and maybe even make the team. David would be sure to update them on what Sam said to them when they woke up.

Along with his nervousness creeping up on him, so did Elli's hand. He interlaced his fingers with hers, half because he actually did like her a lot, and half because it helped him stand still instead of shaking. Why was Cameron so nervous? It seemed to have gotten worse this year than the previous two. We don't even find out now?! That was odd. During previous years, the captain would announce who made the team and who didn't right after tryouts were over, but no. Not Sam. He and Remy had to discus what they think, then they were going to post the results at the end of the week.
