Kals is questing again!
AHHH more Donna sympathisers! Please tell me someone else was relieved when Donna's fate was revealed! She was the absolute worst, most irritating and useless, least able to act companion I have seen in the "new" series.

I've been slowly watching my way through all the original episodes from back in 1962 onwards, those are a laugh and a half. I plan to watch the entire series all the way through, I expect it will take me quite some time.

I've been watching the show since the end of Pertwee and the beginning of Tom Baker (well before he became the king of the elves). The new shows are interesting and fun, but I think are missing something from the original shows. That and it seems that the writers haven't seen the original shows, there are a lot of continuity errors.

i have to say that i like the old and the new Doctors. i was also glad that Donna left, it was too strange watching Donna and then thinking of Catherine Tate comedy show characters at the same time!

New here, and I just wanted to toss in my support of Doctor Who, in all its iterations.

I've watched all the new Doctor Who seasons (Ninth Doctor onward), and my father and I are currently working our way through the classics, starting with the First Doctor, William Hartnell. At least, what's available on DVD of him.

Also, I must say that I thought Donna was the best companion for the Tenth Doctor. Definitely better than Martha. So, yes, I'm sorry, but I will miss her. I think her fate was terrible.

Now, what´s not to love about The Doctor? Sure... I kind of freaked out when I watched that other show where Billie Piper played a prostitute... burning_eyes
Anywho... Back on The Doctor... An alien with infinite knowledge, a killer sense of humor, and the power to reduce you to a whimpering mass if he gets angry... I say, TAKE ME NEXT!!!!
I really want to kick some Dalek... What do they sit on anyways???

Question: I'm going back and watching some of the old 4th Doctor episodes in order finally and I'm wondering when did the Doctor know Romana was a time lord? I thought he knew early on, but in Destiny of the Daleks when she is trying to find a new body, he makes a comment that only time lords are supposed to regenerate making it seem like he hadn't known. Did I miss something?
