Also, I have never used emoticons. I do hate the one with shades, because anytime I make a numbered list it makes things look silly. The same is sometimes true with parenthesis.

I do not even know what to type for emoticons, other than the most obvious ones. I always get confused when I quote posts that have emoticons because of that.

It is actually the bottom left. I just get confused when I am reading the text as I type my post and see things like "ninja." I figure it out quickly enough, but there is still that moment of "Huh?"

Haha! I'm the same way. My mom always had to mark 'L' and 'R' on my ballet shoes when I was a kid. And when people are trying to give me directions I always want to go the opposite way. It got to the point where one of my friends started telling 'left' when he wanted me to go right. Sadly, it works.

I think I've been that way since birth. I was even born by C-section 'cause I wanted to go up instead of down sweatdrop
