That said, the film reeks of Tim Burton's style. Producers often have a fair hand in influencing and advising the director on things.

GI Joe- Good, but unrealistic to the point of abit silly and boring. **Spoiler Alert**
Good points- Brilliant special effects, good fight scenes, very imaginative. The plot behind it with Dukes ex-Gf's brother being the master mind behind it all, was quite good. The end was not too bad though... The suits were pretty amazing, and looked like the ones of Crysis, nice weapon systems, especially the machine gun, although it magically spawned ammo. The Neo Cobra's were a good idea, but underpowered, and the mask at the start, that appears at the start, and at the end, and its meant to be a large focal point. They also had a mix of cars, which is rare in these films.
Bad points- So unrealistic, I know its not meant to be exact real life like, and its in the future slightly. The two childhood rival ninja's were boring, kids at about 10 cannot fight like when they did in their first flashback. The accelerator weaponry was over powered. That much power in such a tiny pistol?? Also, Duke, he flies about 20 ft into the sky on one part, I think its at the start or middle, and lands, gets backup after a groan or two, and continues walking. This was without armour by the way. Now any normal human would have bones broken by that, or nasty sprains. Last point- The suits could have been explained a lot more, all we know is they enhance you, give you fancy looking pop up views and nice weapon systems, nothing on what they could withstand.
Meh, 5-6/10.

Caleidah That said, the film reeks of Tim Burton's style. Producers often have a fair hand in influencing and advising the director on things. Absolutely, it's so strange it's right up Burton's alley. As a filmmaker myself I hate how the people with the money sometimes feel free to put in the two sense when they don't know what's going on, thereby destroying any and all artistic integrity, but if Tim Burton wants to tell me how to make a movie, by God I'll listen to him. xp

Nooooo... Read my review if you must, but it's badly written in the space of 10 minutes, because I now remember barely any of the film.

There are some people that I would take advice from almost without a second thought while working on a film. The closest I've ever come to making movies is to pitch in with a few roles for an independent film group that operates out of a college near where I live.

*blink* I just got back from the movie, and I was the only one out of me, my younger brother and my dad to like the movie, other then my dad liking one of the aliens. I thought it was awsome, with the new take on the aliens, considering they don't want to destroy the world this time.
I do agree about the tech that the alien have, I thought that was awsome.
I saw one weird looking preview for a movie, Jennifer's Body with Megan Fox in it....yeah not going to see that at all. I plan on seeing Gamer, and my mom wants to see GI Joe, so we may go watch that with her, me and my brother. Maybe I'll be able to see the new Final Destination, or that Zombie Land.
((Quote)) "I haven't cried like this since the Titanic." *proceeds to wipe eyes with a handful of dollar bills*
Other movies that I saw previews of that looked interesting, Legion, and Surrogate.

Megan Fox needs to be beaten senseless and sent off to the porn industry. Her acting is already on par for that kind of performance, although she's a bit weird looking to be anything other than the vulnerable but willing friend.

Uhh, I could say Megan Fox may be a good actor, thought she did good with Transformer, though I was too busy paying attention to the special effects and fighting scenes.

Note I said may, not is ((as for the thought, that usually when I say it means maybe))...anyways like I said I was paying attention to the special effects and fighting scenes, my favorite character happen to be the Autotob's weapon specialist, though that was due to the weapons. As for Megan at least in the first movie there wasn't much suggestion in that one, then in comes the second movie....let's see the way she was sitting on the motorcycle, what else was there.
Anyways, so you going to see Zombieland?
