Vince stood there, ignoring everything else in the world. He was just staring out into space. As Tailmon approached him, he didn't notice. He just stood there, just staring out there. The sun was starting to set. He turned towards Nightmare and Shadow who were still peacefully sleeping under the tree. Vince than turned back towards the plain. "What am I doing.....Nightmare and Shadow aren't in any condition for this....But they won't give up this mission either. Just like when they were small fresh digimons, they didn't care if they were against the odds, they did their best. They fought until the last blow.....But still, they could turn into digieggs and I won't be able to........... Vince stopped the thought, he didn't want to think about it. He stood there, still staring out into space. The wind blew silently across the dirt. The sky began to turn orangish-red. Nightmare and Sai began twitching a bit, awaking from their almost deaths. Vince looked toward them. "Almost time to go..." Vince said as he turned around. Vince than saw Tailmon. Tailmon told him about Meleanie. "Uhm....you over there." He pointed towards Kyte. "Take care of the tamer of this digimon. I have to go somewhere...." Nightmare and Sai stood up, and Vince took his stuff from under the tree. They walked slowly into the woods and soon they were out of sight.

Vince continued walking through the forest. He stopped and thought for a moment. "I really need back-up for this mission..." Vince thought to himself. He looked back, but nothing. He didn't want them to help him do something he has to do. He picked up his digivice. "Jammie, meet me at the mouth of The Cave of Dark Beginnings." Vince whispered into the digivice. He placed the digivice into his pocket and continued walking. Nightmare and Sai walked ahead of Vince, but in the end, they all got out to the other side at the same time. The setting sun was getting lower and lower. All the shadows in The Forest of Night started to expand, and reached towards the center of the plain, where The Cave's mouth settled. "There isn't any turning back past this point...." Vince whispered.
"True..." Sai replied.
"Let's do it." Nightmare said. Vince stood in between Nightmare and Sai, as they walked towards the mouth of the cave. He was a little bit back, but still close enough. Vince than remembered AncientSphinxmon. He wanted them for something, but he could be anywhere now. He could control the darkness, so they had to becareful, especially in the cave. All those shadows and flames flickering. Vince finally stopped. The thought couldn't escaped his mind. "Vince, you okay?"
"Yeah. Just has something on my mind..." Vince said looking at her, and than at Sai. "Just have something on my mind." He continued walking again.

Vince looked around, he didn't want anyone to help him. He doesn't want anyone to pay for his mistakes or battles. Vince walked towards the cave entrance. It was closed shut. The chains covered it and it was sealed locked. It wasn't night yet. Vince looked back where he came from. "Sai. Shoot anyone who comes too close to the entrance. Better yet, shoot anything that moves out of the forest." Sai nodded. Vince sat down onto the ground and waited for night to appear. He also wanted to wait for Jammie, but what are the odds that he would show?

Vince glared at his digivice. "Sai, Meleanie is coming. You know what to do..." Vince whispered towards him, patting him on the shoulder. "If you must, you may have to hurt her. It is for her own protection." Vince added. Sai nodded. Nightmare looked at Sai and than at Vince. "Nightmare, you'll be coming with me when we go into the cave. Sai will come afterwards." Vince told her. She nodded.

"Sai now!" Vince shouted out into the open.
"Energy Cannon!" Sai blasted the cannon in front of Meleanie. "Don't take another step closer...." Sai shouted to her. The sun was now setting at an extremely fast rate from before. Probably because there was something happening now.
"Meleanie....I'm doing this for the greater good." Vince told her. "But be warned, if you take a step forward, Sai isn't going to hold back." Vince added.
Sai nodded. "To show I'm not kidding. Positron Laser!" Sai shot the laser in front of her, making a large slanted hole into the plains.
Vince nodded. Than the doors to the cave began to move slowly, the chains started to separate and the lock began to unlock. As if an invisible key has unlocked it before them. "Time to go...." Vince said softly. "Are you up for it, Nightmare?"

"Cave of dark begining shuh.... Definately sounds like a place you and I need to check out doesn't It lopmon...That name seems so similar to you and I...what with you being infected with a virus before you hatched from your egg adn the way i got into the digital world... dark beginings is what we are all about isn;t it." Kyte whispered to his digimon having moved away from the others after the one called vince had moved away from him and gone off to sleep... He was still not too familiar with the lay of the land of the digital world and as for calling anceint sphinxmon a royal knight instead of an ancient warrior, he was fairly certian the other person had known what he meant he just wanted to avoid the question. While VInce was resting Lopmon adn Kyte had made sure to stay far away from the others so they could talk but close enough to keep an eye on everything.

" Mmhmm, it sounds like us all right... and you with your crest ... the ancient Warrior of darkness getting involved... this definately sounds like something we better be sure to be involved in... But it also sounds really dangerous... i don't know if the others should come..."


" You're right Lopmon tnis si definately somethign we need to do without getting them in to trouble...we will tell them when the time is right..."

Later that day while Melanie was professing her desire to come and the digimon named Sai was following orders to show he was hnot going to allow her to follow Kyte came up behind Dusklet and Allie.
"I've got to get in that cave ALlie, but i don't want you to follow me... when we come out, we will contact you on your digivice and we can meet up again... For now we must part ways..." having whispered this Kyte and Lopmon then quickly moved along the forest edge and got as close as possible to the cave without leaving the woods...

Kyte waited for the girl to move he had his goggles on and he was low to the ground Lopmon was nearby...Sai's attention would be diverted by having to focus on Mealinie and not allowing her to follow after vince... THe second she took another step forwards Kyte burst from the forest running full speed towards the cave, his tag slipped from its hiding place and the crest of darkness was glowing faintly as he ran with lopmon across the open space and leapt over the trench that had been blasted earlier... You aren't stopping me I don't care why you want in that cave I have to know what it is and what it is about myself and i can tell from my crest that it is clearly something i should know about... Kyte thought in his mind as he continued to run.

Shin knew he was ignored and noticed other tamers including the tamer with lopmon and noticed that the tamer was gonna go into the Cave of Dark Beginning. Im going in with you too guys no matter what
"Shin are you thinking of going into that cave too?" Growlmon asked his tamer
" Yes growlmon but'll have to run for our life because of the digimon named sai" Shin said " I think we're gonna have a hard time unless there's a distraction"he added in. Shin noticed another tamer and her tailmon was distracting him and he also noticed that Lopmon and his tamer started to run. At that same second he saw it him and growlmon started to run to the cave too.
