aww poor gerard hope he get well soon. i don't know how it feels like to have broken a rib, but apparently it hurts a lot. sad hope he doesn'st suffer too much pain

Another day, another injury for My Chemical Romance....
While currently no shows have been cancelled, lead singer Gerard Way has cracked a rib. This is one of the many injuries that have plagued the band since the beginning of the Black Parade era. Audience members of the Fort Lauderdale show noticed a much more reserved Gerard during the show as he struggled with his pain.
Considering that taking a deep breath is one of the most painful undertakings while having a cracked rib, I applaud his dedication to the fans by continuing to sing as I assume this has become a most arduous task.
We wish him a speedy recovery.
Ouch. Poor Gee.

...wow, this shows that he and the band are really dedicated to the fans. i will respect his choice to keep performing as long as it doesn't get worse.

That's pure dedication right there. xd It's cool that he is still going strong even when BREATHING is a struggle but he needs to take it easy or at least cut the tour shorter. sweatdrop Thats a serious injury and I'd hate to see him get even MORE injured than he already is. neutral

Oh geez, hopefully Gerard will make a full recovery! And not injure himself even more. I heard also awhile back that a couple of the band members got food poisoning, but I guess they are all better now! Hopefully Gerard will get well soon too!
