There was a schism in my family and it broke in half. I didn't see the other side of my family for several years, and I didn't get to see my beloved cousin (even though he lives 5 minutes away) because my mom forbade me to see them.

Last time I saw him, he was wearing a Slayer tshirt and so Slayer is forever synonymous with him. We exchanged hair-ties (his hair is long) and I keep it with me always.

I love him so much. So many childhood memories. *heart*

hmm, i dun really see how the music you like could affect your relationship in a BIG way..sure it could cause, a bit of discomfort, but "serious relationship" wise i dont see this as a problem..

nwei dun really know, my girl likes me for who i am and not for what i listen too.. 4laugh but i do admit i find her type of music (RnB, Hiphop), how do i put this, "sucky" at times, cant really stand hiphop-ish people that much..hate their lifestyle, its too flashy * cool *and most of them are really annoying..too full of themselves..*makes me want to beat them up* scream *if i could* emo

though i do admit my gurl looks real cute in those clothes.. 4laugh

i can prove luca turilli and dushan petrossi is better than kirk hammet, and dimebag, but that won't change peoples minds about metallica and pantera(who is good)

Well, they're talented, but... there's different levels and types of talent.

It does take physical prowess to bang on the drums constantly, I realize from trying, but it takes even more to play quickly and keep varying rhythms, changing time signatures in mid-song, etc.

I appreciate the so-called "math-metal" song structure for just that. I'll admit I have almost no concept of time signature whatsoever, but most of the things I play are either in 6/8 or 4/4.
