silver_mizu okay...the reason is b/c long time ago, way back when there was no Hollister, Abercrombie, and such, Japan frikkin invaded Korea and held dictatorship on it...obviously it was a terrible reign of the Japanese, but the Koreans eventually banded together to throw Japan out... but Japan apparently didnt get it and decided to seize Korea again during WWII and force Korean students and such into learning Japanese and their culture and etc...but of course, Korean kick butt and send them out again =]... i dont hate the Japanese, but im not comfortable about the bit of history i gave just now...even now there are still some ppl in Japan who hate Koreans and some ppl in Korean who hate Japanese...but that was forever ago so yeah me too =/ i don't like the history all that much. I don't hate Japan, all though I'm South Korean. LETS GET THIS STRAIGHT! NOT ALL KOREANS AND CHINESE HATE JAPAN. IT DEPENDS ON THE PERSON'S OPINION. wow u people are so racist. have u noticed all of those racism happening these days. we live in a spoiled gangster dangerous hip hop century.

It was all because of the rise of the Industrial Age, thus leading into global imperialism. Japan wanted to take Korean land and also the Manchuria area in China...
ehh can't really remember much right now, lol. But I know there was that Rape of Nanking thing...no wait, that's when Japan attacked China. bleh. x_x;;

Also, Korea used to be spelled with a C. Japan made it a K so they'd come after them in things like the Olympics and stuff.

Some of my oh so awesome guy friends are Japanese on their mother's side, and Korean on their father's.
Believe me, they're very close, so nothing's wrong.. ;D
Anyway. I don't think South Korean hate Japan, right? I mean come on! Japan helped South Korea during the Korean War which was between NK and ROK. sweatdrop I just did a report on it, so yeah.. ._.;

Tension is fading but there's still some between Japan and other Asian countries. There are still very many haters of Japan because of past acts.

i'm korean, i don't hate japanese at all!
they make the wicked awesome videogames, anime/manga, so what is there to hate about them for that? i don't see a reason to dislike anyone unless they really give me a reason to, like that half chinese kid who's in my grade.....
