Hey, anyone have a sprite making tutorial? Or anything on making (good) avatar edits? I used to do edits, but it's been a while and I want to try my hand at it again.

Ooh, nice! It's a shame that the pictures seem out of order, but nothing that's not understandable.

I used to be a member of a spriting/sprite comic community (*shudder*), so I'll see if I can dig up anything along those lines.

Yeah, I'm suprised I found the one I found. I was really looking on how to make pixel paintings of decent resloution, like the gaia items. That's as close as I got. I know that gaia actually doesn't allow you to put their avatars anywhere, but tutorials are protected by fair use because it's for educational purposes. Many people have no idea how fair use works, so they probably would rather not post them. That and people don't want to teach others so they don't have competition for their shops and such.

As for organization, I would make a thread if I could lock it or something. But yeah, putting them in different posts based on category. Categories can cross reference, but you kind of click on what you want like "hands" and it takes you to the anatomy ones, and the anatomy ones are listed aphabetically by specifics. For general, it can be listed as general.

The lists are getting long and they're kind of just there in the order that they were added. I will most likely be tutorial/resource spamming, so expect more. Anytime I find anything useful, I submit here.

Thanks for the tutorials again errol, they've been updated and I attempted to organize the post a bit more... I'm not sure if we really need to make it more extensive at this point :F... More categories are also poping up as time goes on so I'm not sure about that...

Also why do you need the topic to be locked? Or do you mean stickied?

If you have a clear idea of what you want to do and how you want to do it it can be done :F

Locked so the only thing there are the tutorials. It's really not a big deal anyway. (Shouldn't Concept art 101 be under concept art. xd )

The problem with locking it is that people won't be able to give you more links 8F...

Hmmm I guess we'll keep it as it is for now and see how it goes 8'D.. btw feel free to suggest organizational ideas
