mostly what i wear is like dark hardcore goth stuff kinda baby bat like u know?
just with brighter colored eyeshadows but racoon eyeliner and alot of happy accessories

(pink spikes,hello kitty scarf,hello kitty shoe laces,happy hat with kitty ears,black torn up socks with rainbows on them)
and the like

also most people already know im 'goth' so
its all good

as for emos
they should die

and no one would mistake mwah for a prep

alright. for the thread starter, you're an idiot, though you did raise one good point, which is the confusion between goth and emo.

goths do not have to be depressed to be real goths. only a moron thinks that.
personally, i'm typically pretty happy, though i'm usually just pissed off. a goth is a fan of a post-punk style of music usually called 'deathrock'. some of us are happy, some are not, and some of us just dont give a s**t. theres been this little thing i've seen on alot of 'goth' sites thats a term called 'the blackheart'. now from what i can gather this is a philosophy of appearing outwardly unemotional and calling it a lack of emotion, which is idiocy, seeing as human beings who are not born with certain brain defects cannot help but have emotions, though they can keep them below the surface. heres something that everyone should bay heed to.
goths are:
-intelligent
-spiritual
-poetic or otherwise artistic
-typically facinated with the metaphysical in some way shape or form
-fans of goth music
-usually feeling anachronistic, meaning out of place in modern time.
-usually facinated with past society, leading some, like myself into a love of history, especially pre-1900s history.
-usually listening to multiple styles of music, including but not limited to: deathrock, punk, death metal, thrash metal, power metal, industrial, ebm, black metal, goregrind, doom metal, folk metal, trance, happy hardcore, abient techno, acoustic, etc.(you should see my mp3 player, for example. i have everything on there from amon amarth to the bauhaus to blutengel to finntroll to siouxsie and the banshees to the business to the dead kennedys to jimi hendrix to kreator to mankind is obsolete to nox arcana to pantera to skabdriver to zombie girl)

goths are not usually:
-whiny
-cutters
-depressed and wallowing in self pity
-stupid
-weak
-foolish
-satanic
-obsessed with 'non-conformity'(in the same sense as the 'goth kids' on south park)
-evil
-murderous
-wearing 'gothic fashion' all the time(usually referring to clothing from the reinessance era to the 1800s)
-fans of linkin park or slipknot

goths can look quite normal.
hell, not all of us even wear black(i do, most of the time, though i like to wear a green, red, white, blue, etc shirt once in a while)

You make them carry signs that say "Label me and I bite you's dead!" It'll work, trust me.

emos ruined everything.
now no one can be relativley punk without being called emo.
as well as they have made a bridge between punk and prep.

emos are just preps gone sour.

Who cares if they buy the products?
They can buy whatever the hell they want.
It's their life.
If they buy this 'perky goth'
whatever the hell you think it is,
then maybe they are 'perky goth'.
Labels are quite unnessicary..

If they're so "goth" then why do
