Hiro_wolf Shura-Pendragon Hiro_wolf Shura-Pendragon Hiro_wolf Lets just say Its good to have tough friends, especially the ones who show up in a black lether jacket with bleached hair, tight black pants and biker boots. That gets you through a crowed quikly. But I lost him half way into the preformance..but people let me through anyways. Nice friend to have! So...is he like the nicest person in the world? My friend Kenton dresses the same way (except he has a big red mohawk) and he's a giant teddy bear 3nodding . He is nice to me, but he has bad judgement in people. And i had to make sure he wasnt getting into trouble which of corse he did. What kind of trouble? Was it bad? He got in a "Fight" with a drunk person but no one got hurt badly. Money wise you should bring enough to buy somthing, enough in case of emergency and even more than that is good to have incase some gets lost. I would say about 40-50 USD My only experiance with a drunk person was when my marching band went to go march in NYC's St. Patrick's Day Parade (he wanted to carry our banner...we all wanted him too but our band director said no crying ) but I bet that drunk guy who got in the fight with your friend wasn't very nice. $50 sounds good...concert shirts are usually around $20 right?

EXPECT MOSHING. No matter if the arena says in the rules "no moshing," there will always be moshing. Also, if you ever want to hear again, I suggest earplugs. You can still hear everything, but your eardrums won't be ruined for life.

That's okay. Moshing is when everybody gets in this circle thing, and then several people get in the middle and throw themselves at the people around them, bouncing off one another. It's funny to watch, but not for people who are three feet away from it (cough cough me). People can get really hurt moshing. I knew one g.irl who had a cigarette dropped on her in a mosh pit.

Ouch! A cig? God..that would hurt. I had two boys land on me one time..but it wasn't so bad. I love moshing!
Oh Missy, Simmi-chan gave some really good advice on the earlier pages of this thread, they help a lot and i'll post about what worked for me and what didn't after I go on March 4.

Ok, from what I've heard so far concerts are freaking dangerous! eek
Is there anyway I can like, keep safe in a mosh pit, and stay near my friends?

Shura-Pendragon Wow..that sounded like a fun show! Whenever I describe it to people, it sounds so brutal. I mean it was, I came pretty close to vomiting, fainting and having panic attacks on several different occasions. I could barely walk the next day, I'm sure I fractured a rib. That is the only time I've lost a friend. There were so many people around me that I was jumping because I was being pulled up by the people around me, not of my own free will. I was actually trying to get out because I was so scared until I heard someone say something like, "awww, the teenies can't take it." When I heard that, I said to myself, "******** that, I'm no teenie. I'm staying right here." I couldn't breathe because I was the only girl where I was, so everyone was like, at least a head taller than me. I know I wouldn't have had so many problems if I was taller. I was actually disappointed when I got out of the pit because I preferred it there.
That show was an absolute nightmare, but it was ******** awesome.Shura-Pendragon zomg! You've been to a lot of shows. I'm very envious of you seeing Panic! At the Disco and MCR...and you're seeing 30 Seconds To Mars! You're so lucky! Tell me how 30 Seconds to Mars is! At least tell me.....did you like the BowWow concert? (It's okay...I have a sercret liking for Boy Bands...) I'll be honest, Panic! isn't that great live. I mean, they put on an awesome show, with the whole theatre thing, they really used the stage to it's capacity. I'm actually a bit disappointed with the shows I've seen at Brixton since then because I know what can be done. They sound awesome live too. But Brendan's the only one who actually performs, which is really disappointing.
Saying that, Spencer's quite fun to watch, but that may be partially atributed to the fact that he looked like a gay pirate.
Bow Wow wasn't bad, I enjoyed it, I know I would've enjoyed it more if I didn't know that he really isn't that good a rapper at all. He knows how to work the crowd, or at least the girls. I counted 34 girls collapsing, though I found out that some of them were doing it because they thought they would get backstage.
I mostly like Hammersmith because they're this really cute Chinese guy who works there. He was in the cloakroom when I saw Ciara and then he was working the bar when I saw Bow Wow (and I totally have a thing for barstaff). [/perv] When I saw my friend's dad play, there was a guy who was apparently coming on to me in the reastuaraunt part, but I figured it was jusst the way he talks, because I know people that adress people the way he did.
Not that that has anything to do with the show, I just thought I'd share.
I can't wait to see 30, I love that band. I'm upset though, it's going to be promo for ABL and that album is really... not good compared to the first one. But they almost never play songs from the first album apparently.Shura-Pendragon I won't...it'll be enough just seeing them live I guess. But talking to them would just make my life complete you know whee , but I still have many years left in my life...so I'll hopefully get there eventually. I know EXACTLY how you feelShura-Pendragon That sounds really funny...but poor Bob. I love Bob, he's amazing. I would be scared of crazy fan girls too if I were them.... do you think she's treasuring that bar? Well, she told me she was going to, but who knows, sho could have snarfled it in a fit of joy and hunger later that night. To be quite honest, I prefer autographs rather than random gifts, it's a lot easier to prove to myself and others.Shura-Pendragon Your advice doesn't suck at all! I bet you it's going to help me a TON when I go. Take more credit, you're smart whee Pfffft, sure.
Oh, on the money thing, I'm not sure about over there, but I'd say bring enough for food, a tee/hoodie and maybe things you'll need, or emergencies. I'd bring about £60 to a show with me if I was going to buy a shirt, but we get charged extortion on tour merch over here.

That show was an absolute nightmare, but it was ******** awesome. Guys can be dicks sometimes, kuddos for you for staying in that! I wouldv'e tried to get out right away. That's a weird thing about Mosh Pits for me anyway, they hurt so much....but they're too fun to stop you know. I felt like my organs were being squeezed out through my ears at my last most pit...but I would go back in a heart beat! And then I had to work the next day...for about 8 hours. But, it was worth it to see RBF 3nodding . Simmi-chan I'll be honest, Panic! isn't that great live. I don't know...I love the music and the other members in the band, but Brendon just seems like a complete a**... Spencer....gay pirate? Do you have pictures!? If fainting could get me backstage anywhere...I'd do it. Interesting story about the guy...so what exactly did he say to you? 30's first album was AMAZING but I like the new one well enough. It's sad that they don't sing songs from the first one for those fans who've listen to them for so long...that's way I love MCR! Someone taped one of their concerts and put it on YouTube, and there the band was in their Black Parade get-up, sing "Our Lady of Sorrows", it was beautiful. Simmi-chan Well, she told me she was going to, but who knows, sho could have snarfled it in a fit of joy and hunger later that night. Someone taped one of their concerts and put it on YouTube, and there the band was in their Black Parade get-up, sing "Our Lady of Sorrows", it was beautiful. Really? When I went to see them his voice was spot on. I mean, in the crowd, you wouldn't notice so many flaws, but I have (so I've beem told) near, if not, perfect pitch, so a bum note really cuts through me. He made us do one of those 'repeat after me' things that you do, and most of the crowd couldn't hit the last note. It was awful.
I did though, because I'm cool like that.
Really? It's always been Ryan that came across like a bit of an a** to me. Brendon always seemed pretty nice. I have no immediate intentions of meeting them though, so it doesn't bother me.
I WISH I had photos. I've not had good pictures from a single show at Brixton, the crowd doesn't allow it.
Ugh, JEALOUS. They didn't play a single Bullets song in Brixton. It was mostly Blak Parade. As far as I could tell, it was a taster for March. If they don't play any Bullets in March, I'll start a riot. It's bad enough they don't play most of my favouites anyway.
Oh, by the way, 30 was AWESOME. Here's my attempt at a review, which is less a review than an assortment of random thoughts. And for those who want it, SUPER WANGST.Shura-Pendragon Why do you guys get charged extra? Because they hate us.
Seriously? I don't know, maybe their way of getting back at us for the exchange rate working in our favour.
