i don't believe in superstitions, really, but i do get "feelings" about things, when something isn't quite right or i need to be cautious. i suppose that is along the lines of premonitions or intuition.

If that about spider murder is true, I would have bad luck. I killed one today because a friend if mine is totally scared of them, she almost fainted!

my mom told me that if you hear an owl hoot during the daytime, then someone close to you will die soon. my mom also told me that if you find a DIME outside of your house not to take it into your home because someone who lives in your hoouse will die soon. but i always bring home dimes that i found, and no ones dead yet.

Everyone has some sort of superstition. We also here a whole bunch that mayor may not make sense. I never heard about the spider thing, but I have heard killing lady bugs is bad luck. Others, like the broken mirrors, which I've done pleanty of times, I don't think are true. I guess it depends on the person.

my aunt had the craziest superstition imaginable, she would not have anything in her house resembling an owl. I thought it was amusing, kind of bizarre actually

Veruniel If you want to live and thrive, let a spider run alive! I don't really believe it. But I'm told killing spiders is bad luck, and I've heard it so often that I feel a terrible forboding if someone does it in my house. I also feel funny about people getting a hold of strands of my hair. I usually leave loose hair in the middle of a field or toss it in a river, where no one's likely to nab it. So, who else has funny superstitions? I'm sure I'm not the only one! I'm the same exact way with the whole hair thing. XD
