I wanted to open this up to a discussion of what people's ideal tool sets look like. This can include raw materials, styles and personal touches for things such as ritual clothing, blades, bells and bobs as you see fit.

Empty-handed magic for the win. That being said, I do have one of those water brush boards for drawing sigils that fits in my backpack and trenchcoat pocket.

To me there is.
If I am spelling something as Fairy, I am addressing the pop-culture twinkle fairy princess of goodness, dew and flowers.

If I am using Faerie, I am speaking to a rather generic term for Otherling that translates better across cultural lines.

I rarely use the term Faerie in real life.

As my Grandpa at the Beach used to say:
"If they acted fair, I'd call them fairys."

I find his assertion to be more than reasonable.

Back in my fluffier days I had quite a few different tools I used all varying in prices and qualities. I never was really comfortable with any of the "dressing", not to put down tools they are valuable and very useful for many many many people. For me, as it seems is always the case, less is more.

I stick to doing a lot of visualizations and reiki work. However, I find the right kind of music can do wonders. Also I really do enjoy a variety of essential oils I make myself. At first I'd tried to learn all the herbal meanings, but really now I use what smells good and appeals to me whenever I feel like it.

However I am very attached to a quartz crystal necklace I picked up at Cape May, something about it just sort of drew me towards it. I am also pretty attached to a set of tarot cards, but really beyond that the tools I use are what's around if I need any.
