I think it's positivly fine... If it's your religion then you have every right to go to church. You are a child of your god, and your god should accept everyone including you. But that might not be in the eyes of the people there (no offence)...

mortsanglant Oterys Phantom Devil why wouldn't goths be allowed in church?! Dunno, everyone's supposed to be welcome...I wish they would try to tell me I'm not welcome...I don't go as it is, and if I go they ought to be glad to see me and my money>< The church isn't all about money. The Catholic church, yeah. But that's because they don't follow the Bible as it's written. EXCUSE ME? Pardon my language, but that is bullshit. I am very offended that someone would have the gall to say that. I'm Catholic, and I go to a Catholic Church, and we are NOT all about money. And how in the Hell can you say that we don't follow the Bible as it's written? Have you attended a Catholic church, praytell? Yes, Goths should be allowed to attend church. It's not a religion, persay, so I can't see a reason why we shouldn't. I'm Catholic and Gothic; I've not been thrown out of my church.

Goth is not a religion, and while many people stereotype goths as being atheist, Wiccan, etc, I'm sure there are many who aren't. I do attend church meetings regularly, and I enjoy it immensely. Yes, I truly believe that Jesus was the Son of God, and that he has the power to forgive sins and save our souls. I wasn't always like that, but I've been "hardcore" Christian (as my friends call me) for much longer than I've been goth. Thus, I believe it's safe to assume that goths are allowed to go to church.
If you are afraid of not being accepted, or actually aren't, then that church isn't a true church anyway. My church, for one, accepts everyone for who they are. We have goths, a few skaters, preps, everything. And quite honestly, I think we have more fun in youth meetings then all those high maintenance churches ::coughcoughCatholiccoughcough:: So if you want to go to church, go ahead and go, no one can stop you from following God and His True Word. If you have trouble finding a church that you like, consider a non-denominational or multi-denominational church. They truly do accept everyone, hence the term non-/multi-denominational.
By the way, Catholics, do not take the above statement of Catholics being high maintenace to heart if you are not. I have attend a great many churches, however, and, for the most part, the Catholic churches are much more strict than other denominations (or non-deminations) however, I have been to Catholic churches that aren't strict at all. It just seems that, in my experience at least, the Catholics do tend to be a bit more strict and orderly in the way the do things, and that is all I meant.

Oh gawd Not to sounds rude, but you cannot possibly call yourself a Goth if you think it has anything to do with religion in that way You can be a part of any religion and still be goth *sigh*

Being a goth isn't associated with any particular religion. You can go to church, and it won't make you any less goth-ish.

I'm sorry for offending you. Making a blanket statement wasn't a smart idea. It's not something that can be pinned on one denomination.
In any case I apologise for that.
But I have issues with the Catholic church that I shouldn't have taken out with that post.
If you'd like to discuss them you can PM me.
Again I apologise.

I'm goth, I dont attend church personally, but I believe the stuff christians do. It it perfectly fine to be anyone or anything and attend church.
Also, as I said, i'm goth. But I dont do all of the things people expect a goth to do, I find stereotypes to be total bull-s**t. I do what I want not what others want, or expect me to do.
So do whatever, it's your life.
