Idessa stumbled a little when Granis set her down. She was still not used to having feet. "Nice to meet you, Shandris", she greeted the blonde lady. "I don't know what an adventure class is, I'm sorry." She admitted in embarrassment. "I will see you later, Granis", she said, blushing a bit when he kissed her.

She followed Shandris, looking around curiously. The human dwelling was unlike anything found in the ocean. Everything was beautiful and orderly. "This is a lovely castle", she told Shandris.

In the bathroom, Shandris asked her a question. "I like him very much", she admitted. "Although I have only just met him. Are you twins?" She wanted to know.

Thank you, Idessa. Granis and I are twin brother and sister. Idessa, you can use the changing screen to strip down. Place your sail sheet and rope into the hamper and jewelry on the counter. Shandris then prepared to get everything ready for Idessa's bath. Shandris filled the bathtub with water and added bubble mix to the bath & got out the things for the bath, then waited until Idessa finished stripping down until Idessa was naked. Idessa, we're both women in here. So, what do you like to do for fun?

Idessa went behind the changing screen. She took off the old sail she had wrapped herself in at the beach. Then she took off all her pearl jewelry. She put them on the counter like Shandis told her. She went towards the bath tub. Hot water steamed in it. "It's not... boiling hot, surely?" She asked, just to be certain. Mermaids had little need for baths. This was her first time. Shandis' question distracted her. "I like to sing. And I like looking for pearls, and other pretty things. The jewelry I have is from an old ship wreck, although I added the coral pieces myself."

The water is warm, Idessa. You're beautiful. You can step into the bath and we'll get started on cleaning you up. Part of being human is cleaning up one's body by taking baths. Shandris saw Idessa step out of the screen, Idessa was standing naked, a mermaid turned human, then once Idessa was in the bath. Idessa, I would love to hear you sing. Shandris added the body wash to the soap brush and began to wash Idessa's body until it was lathered up nicely.

Hesitantly, Idessa slipped into the water. The warm feeling of it was strange, different from swimming in the sea. It was almost like an embrace. "You are beautiful too", she told Shandris, smiling. "And you are kind, helping me so much." She was surprised when Shandris began to wash her, but she allowed it, having no knowledge what a bath should be like. She began to sing an old song, about a sailor who fell in love with a mermaid, yet was not allowed to marry her. It was a song of grief and longing.

Your voice is beautiful, Idessa, and you're welcome. Where are you from? Shandris finished washing Idessa's body. Idessa, please lift up your legs and feet next, so I can wash them. This may tickle your feet. Shandris added the body wash to the soap brush & waited for Idessa to lift up her legs and feet. Then Shandris song a lovely song about an Adventurer who fell in love with a mermaid & turned her human, after a week, the mermaid and adventurer got married. It was a song of Kindness & Devotion. Shandris learned how to sing when she was young after hearing the Padarak Merchant's stories. Idessa, what's your favorite color?

"I am from the Atlantic kingdom, in the sea of that name." Idessa explained. She obediently lifted her legs and feet for Shandris to wash. "It is so strange to have feet", she commented, looking at her own toes. "They're like hands and yet not like hands and all. And walking! You humans all make it look so easy!"

When Shandris sang, Idessa listened quietly. As the song ended, she exclaimed: "That was beautiful! I have never heard that song before."

Thank you, Idessa. I hope we can be friends. Shandris began to wash Idessa's legs and feet. As Shandris was washing Idessa's feet, it tickled her. Idessa, so you're from the Atlantic Ocean? Sounds lovely. What's your favorite color? I have a lovely blue dress that I plan to wear tonight at the Capital's ball. Shandris giggled as she saw Idessa wiggle her toes. Idessa, your human legs & feet are really cute. How did you become human and what was it like becoming human? The soap brush continued to tickle Idessa's feet.

"I would very much like to be your friend, Shandris!" Idessa said happily. "I'd hug you, but I'm all wet and covered in bubbly washing stuff!" She told her, not knowing the word for soap. Having her feet washed tickled them and she giggled a little. "My favorite color is pink, and I like red almost as much", she said. "We don't wear much clothes in the sea. I am looking forward to seeing you in your dress. "Your brother made me human. He had a magic wand of some kind. It felt strange, but it didn't hurt. Just kind of tingled all over my tail when it turned into legs." She explained.

Idessa's legs and feet were nice and cleaned. You can lower your legs and feet now. As for the bubbly stuff, its called soap. Shandris began to wash Idessa's hair next with shampoo-coniditioner, then saw Idessa play with the soap bubbles in the bath. Idessa, sounds like you're having fun. Shandris saw as Idessa blew her handful of soap bubbles across the bathroom. Shandris giggled a bit. Idessa, time to rinse you off Shandris then proceeded to rinse Idessa off as she was now tidied up, then Shandris drained the bathtub of its water, revealing Idessa's naked body.

Idessa, you can step out now and I'll dry you off with a towel. Shandris returned with some towels then began to dry off Idessa's body and blow dried her hair so it would look nice.

Idessa obeyed and lowered her legs back into the warm water. She was used to it now and felt really relaxed, as if she had had a massage. She took some of the soap into her hands and played with it, blowing some bubbles. "Baths are fun!" She agreed with her new friend.

When it was all over she stepped out and allowed Shandris to help her with the towels. "Can I borrow something to wear? All I have are the starfish and that old sail."

Shandris dried off Idessa's body and gave her a towel to cover up. We'll pick something out for you to wear. So, would you like me to wash your starfish, sail and rope? Shandris offered and asked her nicely. Idessa, maybe tomorrow, would you like to go to the town of Padarak with me shopping? I can get you a nice set of clothes for you to wear. I'll pay for the clothes. Shandris knew what Idessa meant, other than her sail with rope and starfish, Idessa doesn't have anything else to wear. Shandris waited for Idessa to cover her body with the towel before heading to the closet to pick something nice for Idessa to wear. Idessa, after lunch, would you like to see the bedroom you can use? What food do you like to eat? Have you tried the food here? What do you think of having human legs & feet instead of a tail?

Idessa wrapped the towel around her body. "Thank you. The startfish don't really need washing, and I think the rope and sail can be thrown away, unless you find some use for them of course." She replied. "Shopping? That would be lovely. I'm sorry that I didn't think to bring any money. I do have the pearls though, they should be worth something." She offered. "And if the bedroom is anything like the rest of this castle, I'm sure I will love it." At the mention of food, she realized she was quite hungry. "I like to eat seaweed, and clams and oysters. But I'm curious about human food, I want to taste it!" As to the last question, she replied: "I am still not used to it."

I'm sure you'll get used to having legs. Please follow me & we'll get you dressed. The rope and sail can be mended, so they can be reused. Maybe you can show the pearls of yours when we go shopping. They maybe worth something. As for the starfish, is it okay if we bring them to your room? Shandris escorted Idessa to the closet, once both girls were in the closet, Shandris closed the door for privacy.

Shandris then got out some undergarments for Idessa to try on that are Idessa's size first. You can drop the towel and try on the undergarments I gave you first. How does a pink ballgown with matching shoes sound to you, Idessa? Shandris said this as she got out a pink ballgown with matching shoes for Idessa to try on next that are Idessa's size.

Idessa followed Shandris, concentrating on each step, yet trying to keep up with her. When the door of the closet was closed, she took off the lovely soft towel. She took the undergarments from Shandris, and put them on. "I would love a pink ball gown!" She said, delighted. She took the dress, trying to figure out how to put it on the right way.
