The moment Masahiro and Wulfram had gotten on horses, her blue eyes widen. Oh noooo! She would have to do her best to follow them!? Nah! She got this! She can do this! Following them from the woodline, it was so much harder than she had anticipated! Halfway out, sweat was dripping, and she was soooo tempted to just turn around. With a scowl and giggle, "I got my laps in I'm sure.." Hima muttered to herself. Would her teacher actually believe she was following horses all the way out this way? Her legs were burning and she was tired, but she wanted to see what's going on! Not to mention she was doing a well job staying hidden and sneaking! They haven't even noticed her! This was perfect! Her heart was beating faster as excitement filled it up.
Then Masahiro dismounted. Her brows furrowed in confusion as she looked around. Why were they stopping? Panting, at least she finally got a break! Thank goodness! Then he turned to face her as Hima squeaked in surprise. She was discovered! "How did you-" She stopped, seeing the expression on his face. Pain? Discomfort? Just like that, the cloud went over the sunny heart. She was instantly reminded when her mother and Theo had sent her and Theodred away. The day Theodred ran off. Terror captured as she ran out of the woodline, "Wait-" Then he was gone. Her lower lip trembled. What was going on? Was he leaving her too? NO!
She can't think that! How silly! He had been there with her when they arrived at his gates. He was there for her when Theodred had runoff. Her training. Her cooking skills. He wasn't always there, but he was there enough! He wouldn't leave her! He called her his daughter! Not by blood, but from what she learned from her mother, not everyone who was blood was always family. Theo was like a father to her and Theodred, her brother. Theo took part in raising her too! Masahiro wouldn't just up and leave! Or die!

Then Wulfram spoke, bringing this child back to the grounds. "Oh! Um." She paused for a moment as he held out the reins before nodding. "Right! Mr. Wulfram, you are completely right. If he had to leave, it must be more important!" She got up to the horse and gave it a sweet little kiss on the nose before feeding it an apple. "I got you a surprise!" She smiled and gave Wulfram an apple too. With a bit of a struggle, Himawari finally got on the saddle, though, obviously, the strriups are too long but thankfully the horses were trained by the squeeze pressure and the pressure of where the rider was on the saddle. "No matter, Mr. Wulfram, if it's important and Masahiro-Oji trusts me to continue on with you, I'll do my best! I'll be professional, kind, and on guard! I can't let my guard down right? Like I did with the snowball fight! Especially if I want to be like you!" She said with a bright smile towards Wulfram as they took off once again towards where they were going. Her eyes see the Arashigakure, farrrrr away, but of course, she doesn't know that that it was a flying island. It looks like one nasty terrifying storm.
"OOohhhhh mmmaaaannnnnn!" She exclaimed when the 'storm' was in view. "That's one bad storm!" She slouched her shoulders slightly as her hands gripped the reins, "Ireallydon'tlikestorms" Himawari had never been a fan of natural thunderstorms. Now thunderstorms or raiton or lighting doesn't bother her much.

INDENTDarkness consumed the remains of sunlight that lingered flamboyantly. Night was quickly apparent to all as the handful of stars and the full moon itself struggled to provide much light. Luckily, the Trio had managed to setup shop before hand. While Aeleus and The Merchant rested, Sanada took guard. Watching over the two. Pondering to himself about the nature of the mission itself. Something wasn't right but he couldn't figure out why he felt so. The night went on utterly uninterrupted. This was perhaps the most smooth of an escort in all of his history. Although, then again, they were in times of peace. Aeleus tossed and turned sleeping in his makeshift sleeping bag. The youthful boy had actually woken up a few times. It was his first time camping out and sleeping in nature so he was a little uneasy himself.
INDENTThe once beautiful land turned into a terrifying nightmare where all the imaginary monsters of youthful wonder plagued even the competent Genin. It was hard not to believe in the boogie man when the howling winds played an ominous melody, when darkness rested across the meadow in a haze of oppression. Fear, was unavoidable for a first timer with these conditions, a young first timer nonetheless. Despite his struggles to rest he would find minor moments of that comforting joyful sleep. Deep down he was assured that it was all in his head.. Monsters like the boogie man couldn't possibly be real.. could they? Ripping winds warned Sanada of an incoming threat. Urgently rising from his sitting, two kunai hurled from his fingers. Thwarting the two shuriken that had gone unnoticed by Aeleus and Tanaka.
INDENT"Show yourself!" Sanada demanded. Words lost in the howling winds. Glancing over towards the Cargo and his Student, all was well for the moment. Then that eureka moment dawned for Sanada, it was a decoy, to get to him. Immediately his mind raced. Aeleus leaping from his slumber. "Sanada sensei!" Just like that, right before his eyes, he watched his sensei be pierced by the assaulter's katana. Sanada's body dropping to his knees before toppling over onto the barren ground. Moonlight splashed onto the mysterious silhouette, revealing little. Aeleus' eyes tensed, in what could only be descried as an instant the assailant was in front of the Genin. Swinging his Katana in a quick swipe. No time to think! Kunai clashed against sharp steel from The Attacker's blade, sparks flew for a brevity before Aeleus was sent flying off his feet. "G-Gah?!"
INDENTWas this really happening!? Sanada sensei had been killed and now.. "Mr.Tanaka!" Tiny arms moved with grace and furiosity. The Youthful body swaying and twirling about in elegance with the blowing winds, truly a natural. His first real taste of combat but those countless hours spent training in earnest came to reward the boy. Whilst he re positioned himself he'd sent a dozen or so kunai and shuriken aimed at cutting off the man's path to Tanaka. Boots touched ground and in a blinding stride Aeleus made his assault. The Mysterious enemy disregarded his path for the Cargo upon being cutoff by Aeleus' onslaught of weaponry. Deciding to focus on handling the pest first. Tanaka could wait. "Who are you!?" Kunai held firmly in both fist, swung in coordinated strikes at the man's mid section. Blocked by his fine display of swordsmanship. Sparks flying as Kunai yet again met Katana a battle as old as time itself. One good opening! Sternly Aeleus' eyes flexed, in he went, striking with a piercing stab.
INDENTEchoing throughout the hollowed area was the ringing sound of clashed steel. Aeleus' seemingly open strike was again blocked. Resulting in a gridlock between him and the Attacker. "Y-You b*****d!" His strength slowly won out over the gridlock. Aeleus leapt back, hurling both kunai at the Hooded Figure. Moonlight splashed down onto the two combatants as if they were the star performers in an onstage set. The duet of their ongoing battle seemed to reach a boiling point for the mysterious assailant. He had enough of these silly games of cat and mouse. With a single step, the man vanished from sight. Leaving Aeleus lost and confused. "W-What!?" In mere moments, he had re positioned behind the boy. Continuing through with a deadly strike downward.
INDENTBy the time Aeleus had realized what had happened. It was too late for any form of retaliation. When all seemed lost he appeared. For what it was worth, Aeleus had actually broken the Attackers focus. Long enough for Sanada to reemerge from the shadows, forgotten about long enough to find a swift opening. Albeit a dangerous one. Even faster than the Attacker had moved, would too Sanada. Where his body had once laid bloodied and in defeat now laid a pile of logs. Ah, the classic substitution. The Sensei's sudden appearance offset the attacker, catching him completely blind sided. "Y-You.. but I." Half spoken words attempted to make sense of what had occurred. Blood seeping from the man's lips as he spoke in disbelief.
INDENTAlthough Sanada was not unscathed. He had used one hand to completely block the strike on his Student. The armored glove taking most of the barring but Sananda had been badly cut. In exchange for a vital strike on their seemingly random attacker was well worth it. Sapphire hues widened with joy and as if reality itself couldn't have been true. No, he was positive. That was- "S-Sanada sensei!" But how could this be, Aeleus had seen him die! Those same blue orbs hovered over to where he had last seen his beloved sensei. "S-Substitution." Katana fell to pierce the soil that would now separate the two shinobi. The hooded figure using what little strength he had left to make a hasty escape.
INDENTHis Sensei had appeared right in the perfect time, as Aeleus would have been struck and struck hard. Simultaneously he was able to land the defeating blow. Yet not without it's cost. Sanada began to sweat heavily, falling onto a single knee before he completely toppled over along the grassy ground. Aeleus startled for a moment, dropped to the aide of his sensei. Unsure of what to do to better the situation. Surely the wound wasn't enough to kill the man, so why this reaction? Aeleus examined the wound a best he could but his inexperience was apparent. He was unable to truly see why his Sensei had fainted. The good, telltale sign was that Sanada had still been breathing so whatever was going on, the child had some time to figure out a plan.
INDENTHurriedly came Tanaka, his hands flustered about himself as he ran down towards the two Leaf Shinobi. "Quickly, take this" Crouching down to the beaten Chunin's level, Tanaka force fed the man some kind of strange liquid from a small vile. "You're infected.. You'll be already with this remedy but you won't be able to move for forty-eight hours. Here, help me get him to the back of my wagon!" Aeleus would do just that. With haste the elder and child quickly uplifted Sanada and moved him securely to the back of the cargo wagon, where he would rest paralyzed and barely conscious. "M-Moved.. Com- sunrise" What little strength he had left was used to issue that distraught order.. His message read loud and clear as Aeleus nodded. "Rodger!"
INDENTAeleus kept watch for the remainder of the night. Posted up admits the coverage of leafs. A birds eye view was always the best advantage. They wouldn't be ambushed again, he would see to it! His incompetence had lead to Sanada's current position and that weighed heavily on the rookie Genin. While there wasn't much further to go on their voyage the issue still remained. They were being hunted.. but by who.. and why? Dawn sprung itself into existence and as such, the trio, lead by little Aeleus began their departure. Having taken a detoured route, to avoid potential engagement. "Are you positive this path is a secret Mr.Tanaka?" Nodding in response to the Youngsters question. Tanaka watched over Sanada from within the back of the Cargo carriage. Having been the City's renowned Doctor, Tanaka had come into contact with this venom many times over. "I'm sorry I didn't inform you of the magnitude of felon that has been after me. The Band of Seven, an infamous group of no good, has-been's from the era before this peace. A band of mercenaries that plague the underground crime syndicate in New Veralas. They beat my people into submission and overtook the city, my latest invention could possibly restore wealth to our beloved city.. But only if I could safely arrive at the capitol..I didn't mean for anyone to get hurt." Mr.Tanaka.. He was a man with a noble dream.. While upset that he lied Aeleus understood it was for good reason. "I'll get you there. Mr.Tanaka, I give you my word!"
Shortly after their brief meeting with the delegation from Arashigakure, Wulfram would assist the young Ward of the Emperor back onto the saddle of Masahiro's horse, before leading the pair back towards the roads to Gurinbare. It hadn't been entirely a wasted trip, it allowed them to visit upon those who came to their territory uninvited, and at least gather a basic knowledge of their intent. Which well enough seemed to be to gather those who had wandered astray.
Wulfram pondered visiting upon the larger structure that had come overhead, but he had no direct way of traverse. Plus, with the young princess on hand, he had more liability than he cared for. After near an hour on the road, Wulfram pulled the reins of his horse and laughed.
Sitting a tree stump, near where they had parted, was the Emperor of the United Fire Territories, scrawling poetry on a tree stump.

They said their explainations and off they went. "E-EH!?" Himawari was flabbergasted. She stood there for awhile as it doesn't seem to bother Wulfram as he waited for her to get on Masahiro's horse. She pouted for a bit as she got on the horse with less struggle. Her small legs still doesn't fit in the stirrups but the horse was patient and kind. Very mellow. "Stupid... F-... better not say that word..." She grumbled and mumbled as she got a part of her kimono and started wiping away the dust as well the dirt from her face. Her face has one or two scratch marks from the rough landing but it doesn't seem to bother her some. "First, Mom and Theo sent us away.." She started, mostly to herself because Wulfram had the tendency not to listen to her. Or he was pretending and doesn't pay her any mind. "Then Theodred decided to be stupid and left me..." She finished wiping her face, her face red from the aggravating of the cleaning. "Might be alive. Might be dead..."
"Then Masahiro-Oji had to go somewhere, poof. Vanished. 'Stay with Wulfram, Himawari'." She mocked. It seemed that the Arashigakure shinobi sudden greeting and vanishing had struck a nerve on this child. "I may be a child but I'm tough! I can fight. Stay at the castle. Stay in the room. Stay close to the teachers. Stay close to the guards. UGH. I'M A DOG." She shouted to the heavens above. She felt better. Getting all that off of her chest. "Thank you for listening." She stroked the horse's hair and gave it a small kiss at the neck. An hour later of her pouting, she saw heard Wulfram laugh as she blinked in confusion. She looks where he was looking at and saw Masahiro. Relief washed over her. "MASAHIRO!" She was so excited as she literally hopped off the horse this time. With the art of hopping, there wasn't any concerns of her feet catching in the stirrups. Ran up to him she scowled as she crossed her arms, pouting. "I did my best, I did but I fell in front of them. I'm sorry I wasn't graceful... I tried! I really tried. But then they said they were here to get one of the allies and poof they went. Like you did! Without a goodbye." She mumbled, her arms crossed and her cheeks puffy from the pouting air she was doing as she looked away slightly. "I'm glad you are okay, Masahiro. How long am I grounded?"

Unlike everyone else, Sadayo and Coda had to stick to the roads. They didnβt have access to boats because JUEI is all about being sneaky and they donβt have a method of masking a row boat yet. Besides. A row boat would take too long. The path was just as weird as the last when she had to reach the Toad landsβ¦ Less marshes, at least. Regrettably, taking the roads might have made them a little late for the divine grandeur.

"Do you have any idea what Masato looks like? I only know he has got dark hair, and he is either an Uchiha or frequently mistaken for one. There is also a rumor he may hail from Zaishin because his flames burn so hot. I hope you have some protection against fire if this goes south." Their travelling would grow boring to Akihiko, so he filled the time with speaking. Even alone, he would speak to himself on longer travels. He remained jealous of those with strong affinities for seals, as he knew they could be utilized for distant travel.

β±β°β±Akaran looked at the long road ahead as he continued his wide, excited gait. He would do a small skip every so often as if he could not contain his excitement. He continuously smiled as they traveled down the road and he looked over when his travel companion started asking him questions. He chuckled a little at the questions when he realized that he had no plan whatsoever. "Come on A-ki-hi-ko, do I really look like I got a plan?" He continued laughing before playfully pushing his shoulder as they walked beside each other. He lowered his hand again but was prepared to defend himself if Akihiko intended on continuing the mild roughhousing. He laughed harder before giving it more thought. "He has dark hair, big muscles, is an Uchiha, and teaches students taijutsu at his home...Sen-shi-cho-jo...Warrior Summit." Through a thick accent he explained the summary of what he knew about Masato as he continued walking along the roads following the signs for the new Konohagakure.

It was stupid. More than stupid, really. But Akaran pushed Akihiko's shoulder and the mercenary instinctively brought a hand to his blade, taking a careful breath before he could let the reflex go. He had to be more patient with Akaran, who was so careless about laughing and showing emotion and revealing his thoughts and touching. Unguarded in all the ways Akihiko couldn't dream of being.
He could cover for his instinct but not the jealousy that came from realizing Akaran probably had no reason to be so guarded in the first place, so innocently unafraid. "I guess you never have a plan," he said, unable to keep the bitterness from his voice. Akaran's pleasant laugh was grating instead, but the wanderer tried to let it roll over him. "Sounds like you've got a big crush on the guy. I wonder if the guards at Konoha will give us directions to his house directly. I imagine we will have to wander the village instead."

β±β°β±When Akihiko reached for the handle of his blade Akaran was temporarily startled. But his brief dismay was relieved by Akihiko's restraint in avoiding brandishing the blade. He laughed nervously as if to break the tension when Akihiko conceded that it was clear that Akaran did, in fact, never have a plan. He laughed again at Akihiko insinuating that Akaran had a crush on Masato. "No crush on Ma-sa-to, I've never met him." Akaran stated through a chuckle, not understanding that Akihiko was taking the piss out of him. He continued walking with him and held back asking a question about why he reached for his sword for the time being before they approached the gates.

β±β°β±Akaran walked through the tree-lined roads of the Land of Fire following the signs for the River Country. They continued their long march west as Konohagakure disappeared behind them. By now there was nothing but road ahead of them and behind them. They were making far better time in Akaran's mind than he expected compared to how long his first journey through the fire country felt after leaving the Land of Iron in exile. "The roads felt longer before I met you. Y'know, like when I traveled as a ronin in these lands before we met. Hours felt like days. But now, when I'm walking with you, the time goes faster. Why's that?" Akaran asked innocently with a couple of sparing glances at Akihiko. Traveling alone was arduous and sometimes tedious for Akaran. With his companion, the load always felt lighter and the steps felt quicker. It was hard for Akaran to figure out why or what this was. It did not make sense to him but the truth was that Akihiko filled him with such joy that the tedium of travel melted away.

Akihiko had just cleared his own mind of the marriage woes before Akaran started talking about how time flied when they were together. Was Akaran hinting that he wanted a more serious commitment? That he didn't want to ever have to travel alone again? Or was Akihiko psyching himself out? "Just say what you mean," he snapped unpleasantly before internally cringing it at the hostility of it. What the ******** was wrong with him? He wasn't mad at Akaran. Akaran wasn't even capable of subtlety. "Forget it," he immediately overcorrected, turning his head away from Akaran petulantly.
Instead, he actually answered Akaran's question. "Time is all perception." He gave a half-hearted shrug, not sure how to unscrew his head. He chewed at his bottom lip as he thought

β±β°β±Akaran became confused and concerned when Akihiko snapped at him. "You okay?" The wanderer was unsure what he did wrong but Akihiko did seem more taciturn than usual. Although he did get a sense that Akihiko regretted it when he told him to forget it. Normally Akaran would be inclined to just call him an a*****e and move on but he was interested in knowing what was on his mind. Maybe he didn't like the bunny I gave him? He became self conscious as he considered this possibility. When he answered his question he put his hands behind his head to ease the tension. "My first walk from Zaishin to the Fire Country was the longest of my life. When I went back with you it was much shorter. We always have fun, A-ki." Akaran gave a wide and cheesy grin in the hopes of elevating Akihiko's mood if he were to look at him. Akaran could be charming in the stupidest ways possible at times. He also knew Akihiko enough by now to understand that there were times when he was in a mood and needed time to think about it before speaking.

"Yeah," Akihiko said with a more genuine smile, "we always have fun." They'd had a lot of really good times that Akihiko wouldn't have been able to enjoy without Akaran, let alone have experienced without the samurai. If Akaran wanted something from him, he'd say it.
"I... I think time goes a lot faster around you, too," he admitted despite the burning in his face. It felt like these things weren't so embarrassing before, but he'd also never really been mushy around Akaran. Baby steps. "Ah. I'll have to pick nice jobs if I'm back to work," he bemoaned, realizing Akaran wouldn't OK him taking any assassination work, not that Akihiko was so whipped that he wouldn't if he really wanted to, but... y'know. Happy wife Akaran, Happy Akihiko.
