Julie couldn't help but beam at Esben's amazement. Heh! Yeah, that was right! It was totally awesome! And she totally did it on purpo-- no that was a lie. Not even one she could tell. "Hehe, I know, right!" she boasted, all the same. After all, didn't mean she would be modest about her mistake. She hopped a little and shrugged her shoulders some, and this time, didn't quite take off from earth. She did feel kinda light when she did it, though. "I dunno! I just jumped to tackle ya and then I went flying! Maybe we can fly here?? Maybe there's less gravi... gravytation?" she mused. She remembered Torin using a word that sounded a lot like "gravity" but was still different. It had to do with being pulled to the earth though.
She blinked and pulled from her ponderings on vocab when Esben expressed his frustration over losing their pokemon, and raised her eyebrows. He seemed pretty confident they were here, though, which honestly was rather reassuring for her. Even if some part of her still worried. Looking around, she hummed thoughtfully, tapping her chin. "Well, I know if I were a pokie-okie, I'd go towards the OCEAN!" she proclaimed, grinning widely as she pointed off in the distance. Far, far off, she could just barely spot what she was pretty sure was the glistening surface of water. So... the ocean, obviously.
She looked around, though, as she continued to think. "But I don't think any of my pokies are water type 'n I'm pretty sure Tria wouldn't like the water, so maybe they went somewhere else? Where d'you think?" she asked, peering around, then looking up at the nearby mountain. She was pretty sure Tria wouldn't go in the trees, but that mountain looked pretty open and fire safe...

Esben watched Julie with a scrutinizing gaze as she less than humbly explained how she had flung herself through the air in such a fashion. He could tell she was telling the truth, but that still didn’t saite his curiosity and he copied her in hopping up and down. Unfortunately, he didn’t feel like he would go flying. Maybe a little lighter though? It was impossible to tell and instead, he gave a huff and stomped his boots on the ground.
"Darn!" The young Viking huffed, arms folding over his chest as he eyed the girl. Wait what was that word? "That’s dumb!" He announced forcefully, pointing accusingly at Julie. "Gravy goes on meats and vegetables! It doesn’t help you jump like that!" At least, as far as he knew. Maybe he wasn’t eating the right kind of gravy? That was something he’d have to investigate.
"The… ocean?" His face scrunched up and he followed her gaze out towards the sparkling sea view. He felt a bit of nostalgia at the sight, form wavering just a bit before he immediately shook it off. "But you’re not a pokie-okie! Yer a Julie!" She was being so silly and this was absolutely serious! Or he thought it might be… he was still a little confused after all exactly where they were. He had half a mind to wonder if they were dead but, real warriors didn’t die so easily!
"But we can check… or the mountains!" He sounded like he liked that idea better. "My bears are more for snow and rocks! They’d probably go towards the mountains cause that’s like home!" He announced proudly, pointing off towards the mountains as well. It was mildly true, there were mountains where he came from, though it was more so the snow at times that was more memorable. Considering the conflicting options, Esben turned to Julie, eyeing her up and gesturing. "We should find your pokemon first, ‘cause they’re probably scared! They’re not warriors an’ all yet!" He was trying to mostly be calm with his suggestion, keeping the bold facade. Actually, he was a little worried about his bears and Teeg and even Flef. The one eyed fluff ball certainly didn’t have warrior training and Teeg had just got there. And Isi… well, Isi didn’t take to being left with Esben too well.
But if Byr was with them, leading the way, then he had faith they would be alright. He was the toughest of them all and a gift from his elder! A descendant of their very own Ursaring who was a scary beast in its own right. He was in the wrong for worrying. But still.

Darren gave the zoroark a confused look by his greeting. "One piece? It's not like sleeping is a dangerous endeavor. At least, as far as I know." Darren chuckled, though he did find Sable's flustered expression quite adorable. His eyes narrowed affectionately as he gave her a pat on the head. "Were you worried about me...?" He asked, amused. Though she seemed to be under the impression that this was her dream. Darren wasn't sure why his dream Sable would try to insist such a thing, but sure, he'd roll with it. At least until Jin presented another alternative, that this was some sort of dream with no one singular anchor..
"So... Like some kind of collective dream world?" Darren asked, seeming to give the idea some thought. "Seems like a stretch, but I'll consider it an interesting hypothesis." Darren agreed. Just in case, perhaps he shouldn't flirt so openly with Sable like he had started to do when he first saw them. He could imagine that it was probably harder to keep impulses and truths buried, since the subconscious was a little more forthright about things.
Speaking of impulses, Darren came out of his thoughts when Sable mentioned something about a growlithe, and looked up in time to notice that Sable was darting away again with Jin chasing after her. Darren started to follow in pursuit, but he was stopped by a gulpin as the stomach pokemon opened it's mouth wide and seemed to think Darren was food. "Waugh!!! Piper!" Darren stumbled backward and let his trapinch come between them to protect him from this—admittedly a little hilarious—threat. While Piper worked on taking the gulpin down, Darren scanned it with his pokedex.
Gulpin, the Stomach Pokémon. Gulpin is able to swallow items of its own size whole, as its stomach compresses most of its body. Its unique stomach acid allows it to digest almost anything.
Damn Azalea and her stupid favored type. Darren bemoaned ever getting his hands on a poison type incense and attracting Azalea's attention. The worst part was she was probably bullshitting him about threatening to take the incense for herself, and was just manipulating him into catching the poison types she wanted for her, yet she was intimidating enough that he didn't want to find out.
A cry from Piper alerted Darren that the battle wasn't going as planned. She had tried to bulldoze the gulpin, but it had taken significantly less damage than they anticipated for a poison type. "Alright, let's change tactics. Use bite instead!" Darren commanded. Though first, the gulpin gave a sleepy yawn, causing piper to yawn back. Falling asleep in the dream world seemed like inception, but nevertheless Piper was obviously getting drowsy. Thankfully she managed to bite down on the gulpin before falling asleep, weakening it just enough for capture. Once the gulpin had been taken care of, Darren gave Piper one of his lum berries. "Here you go girl, this aught to wake you up." He assured her.
As if on cue, Sable came back from whatever she'd been doing, apologizing and explaining that she'd lost some of her pokemon. "That's alright. I think I'm kinda used to you running off~ And a dream isn't the worst place to get separated, really." He chuckled, seeming pretty relaxed about their predicament. That was, until Sable got blasted with psychic energy by a few ralts. Dream or not, that still sent alarm bells off in his head. "Ah! S-sable, are you alright???" He asked. Sable looked dazed, but otherwise was able to have honey knock out one of the ralts and catch all three of the group, though he wasn't sure how much of a hand she had in the latter since the pokeballs seemed to just catch the ralts all on their own.
"You can say that again... D-don't, though." Darren amended with a light chuckle. "Why don't we uh... Take a look around this hypothetical collective dream world and see what there is to see?" He suggested, offering Sable his arm with a smile.

When Darren fretted over her, Sable rubbed her head again. She was still more than a little dizzy from being blasted by a psychic attack, and to her dazed sight, the ground seemed to jiggle like a jello mold. "I... I'm okay..." the teen hesitantly replied, although another wobble implied otherwise. Jin kept a firm grip on one of Sable's arms and placed his other hand on the teen's back to help steady her. Thankfully, Sable's beedrill hadn't been as affected by the blast of energy, so Honey was able to deal with the little attacker swiftly and Sable was able to capture it. Not that she could actually take any credit for the capture, since her lobbed ball had clearly been off target but the ralts themselves had course corrected her capture attempt and even threw in a couple more for good measure.
This dream was really becoming strange, and Sable couldn't help but comment on it. When Darren agreed with her, but requested that she not actually repeat her statement, the red-haired trainer couldn't help but chuckle with him. "I'll try. No guarantees, though," she replied with a wink. This place really was strange, strange enough Sable was sure she'd comment on it again just out of reflex, and Darren was now suggesting that the small group go see more of it. The teen hummed thoughtfully at her friend's request before giving him a shy smile. "Sure. Might as well try to have some fun while we're stuck here," she agreed, taking hold of Darren's offered arm with her free one. Jin was more than willing to let the male trainer be Sable's support instead of him, figuring that he was a safer alternative to a flaky illusion that could be broken by a stray attack, and let go of his trainer once he was sure Sable had a decent hold of Darren's arm. He still kept fairly close in case she needed an extra paw.
While walking, Sable started feeling a little better. Her head didn't feel quite as packed with wool or cotton, and the ground wasn't shifting as bad. The rapid shifting sensation was gone, but the earth beneath her feet still didn't feel as smooth as it actually was. She was constantly second-guessing each step, questioning whether the spot of grass she was about to put her foot on was actually as high or low as she saw it as. But to actually be careful would mean slowing down, and Darren already needed to go slower than he was likely used to just for her to keep stride with him normally. She refused to ask him to slow down for her any more than he already had.
It didn't take long for Sable to be punished for her stubbornness, tripping when she inevitably thought the ground was higher than it actually was and put weight on one foot before it had actually touched ground. With a yelp, Sable fell over to one side and ended up colliding with Darren. It wasn't hard enough to knock him over, and neither of them would really be hurt by it, but it was definitely a bit of a bump for the both of them. It took a moment or two for Sable to register that she was up against Darren, but when it finally clicked her face turned bright red as her body stiffened. "S-sorry!" she stammered before trying to take a step back... And yet again ended up misjudging the distance from her foot to the ground and started stumbling. Jin moved a bit to catch Sable in case Darren didn't this time, just so she didn't end up falling back on her bum.
Laughter could be heard as the scene played out, a nearby meditite finding the female trainer's faltering steps hilarious. Honey was not pleased that the pokemon was mocking her trainer and flew over to ask it to stop. The meditite didn't take the mega beedrill's presence that way, though, and assumed it had come for a fight. It even began taunting her, and insulting her when she hesitated. The bee pokemon finally gave the meditite a good swipe of her stinger - knocking it out with one hit - before flying back over to where Sable and the others were, tears in her eyes.
With Sable stable for the time being, Jin let out a sigh as he heard the sniffling beedrill return. "C-calm down, just tell me what happened." He couldn't help but stutter and take a step back at first when the bee pokemon came a little too close for the dark type's liking. She might have been a nice pokemon, but she still had several very large and very sharp stingers, and Jin wanted to stay as far away from them as possible while still being polite. Honey gave a tearful explanation of what happened to the illusioned zoroark, causing Jin to let out another sigh. "I'll... I'll go catch it for you, sis," the dark type offered as he held out a hand. "If you're just heading straight, I'll catch up." Sable slowly nodded twice as she handed Jin an empty pokeball. "Just in case, take Aria with you. If you can't find us, she probably will," the teen suggested, and Jin went to go capture the downed meditite so that it wouldn't pick fights with anyone else while Sable went with Darren at a bit of a slower pace. Just a little bit. Jin would catch up with the group soon enough.

Julie scrunched up her nose and crossed her arms back at Esben, sticking out her tongue. "Is not!" she chimed back, like the mature adult she definitely was. "I's not gravy! Is gravytation! S'different, Esben!" she insisted, though she looked a bit thoughtful after that. It did sound kinda similar... and gravy was for food, she was pretty sure. She didn't remember any of her food getting lighter after adding gravy. In fact, if anything, it felt heavier. And tastier! "Hey Esben is potatoes a vegetable....?" she wondered curiously, a bit lost in thought.
She looked over and shook off the matter when they discussed their pokemon, but made a face at the boy again as he pointed out she was not, in fact, a pokie-okie. "I know that!" she chided, hands now on her hips, "I was using en... emp.... anapathy! T'think what they woulda thunk!" Child words at their finest. Torin really ought to have worked with her on her vocabulary a bit before he up and disappeared. She paused in consideration as Esben seemed just as uncertain on where to go as she was, and tapped a finger on her lower lip in thought. "Hhhhhmmmmm.... TO THE MOUNTAINS!" she declared, jabbing her finger instead up in the air victoriously. She really, really wanted to go to the ocean, but... she was pretty sure that wasn't where their pokies were. And if they could find their pokemon, they could go wherever they wanted. Besides! She could race Esben up the mountain this way, and totally beat him! And maybe if they could figure out how to fly, they could jump off the mountain, and right into the ocean! That would be the coolest thing, ever. "'N my pokies aren't scared! They're brave! Tria was just fine in that spooky swamp 'n everything! And sheep mareep charged into that haunted house place!" she added proudly, marching on off towards the mountains. They would find their pokemon, no problem. Definitely.

Adder shifted, and furrowed his brows, moving as he pushed himself up and blearily opened his eyes. What the... Why was this place so green? Why was he laying down? He'd only closed his eyes for a second back at the Wela Volcano Park area.... He shook his head and pushed himself up, and as he did, a voice echoed through his head, "About time." He shot up this time and looked around, eyes wide, but there was no one there. Well... no humans, at least, or none close enough that he could assume they'd been the ones to speak up. He blinked and his gaze lowered to see Pan staring at him, along with several of his other pokemon, and he shifted a bit. "Pan? What the...." He pushed himself up and looked around, rubbing one of his eyes with a closed fist as he took in the odd world around him. The first thing to notice was the enormous tree towering up above before him, limbs stretching out wide with leaves casting a heavy shadow onto the ground. But it was hard not to immediately focus on all the floating.... bubbles nearby, too. They had pokemon in them, or at least, it seemed like they did. "What..." he mumbled, his eyes searching from one to the other. All the pokemon seemed to be curled up and sleeping, but what was really weird was there were different kinds, floating like they were weightless. Even a garchomp lay dormant in one, snoozing peacefully, and Adder had to try and take a breath to pull from the dazed awe the whole image put him in.
He shook his head and rubbed his face, before turning to look around again, and get a better view of everything else.
The land expanded out in every direction, leading to a variety of climates and locations, it seemed. His pokemon stood around him nearby, but the ground itself stretched out wide. A large, tough looking mountain towered up above in one way, a lush forest expanded another, and he was fairly sure he saw the glistening look of the ocean off in the distance. He stared after it, his mind drifting as he still struggled to wake up. It was sort of like being stuck in that half awake stage, where you just want to roll over and fall back asleep. That wasn't much of an option here, though... Ignoring the fact that he was standing, now, he was also in a strange place, and while some part of him wondered if maybe this itself was just a dream, it carried a few too many aspects that felt a little too real for him to just brush it off, and try and "go back to sleep". He started from his thoughts as a gust of wind brushed by, and his hat lurched up.
Adder quickly reached up and scrambled to catch it, but it slipped through his fingers, and he whipped around, eyes wide as the wind howled through the air, and twisted towards a much more... shadowed area of the landscape. The boy didn't even hesitate-- he immediately bolted after the hat, hardly even noticing the looming house it was headed towards.

"Doesn’ sound all that different!" The young Viking retorted and just for good measure, stuck his own tongue out back at Julie. He too could play the role of a mature adult even though he was definitely just an annoying nine year old . Of course his attempts at being the bigger of the boasting adults faded as Julie asked him a question. His face contorted in confusion and he gave her a look that suggested she had just presented to him something he had never before heard of. And well, she had, so it wasn’t all that surprising,
"... What’s a poh-tae-toe?" He repeated, slowly saying the word. It sounded weird and it wasn’t any kind of vegetable he’d ever heard about! Was she just making up stuff to try and pretend to seem smarter than him?! He puffed his cheeks out at the thought, just a tint of red coming to them. How dare she!
"Stop making up words, it doesn’ make you smarter!" He snapped back for good measure, arms folding over his chest in a tiffy. He listened some more as she tried to explain things and clearly make up more words about stuff that he’d never heard about (anapathy sounded like an illness and that was a ‘no thank you’ for him!), scoffing and rolling his eyes.
"Yeh yeh yeh, you think you much!" Esben stepped forward, poking her in the forehead. "Vikings with brains don’t get to be fighters so maybe you should stop!" Not exactly the truth but if it got her to stop with all them WORDS then so be it! Eventually it was decided that they ought to wander off to the mountains, and the young boy couldn’t help but give the widest of grins at that.
"OKAY!" He beamed, "I know all about mountain explorin’ and stuff!" He was rather excited about the prospect of showing off what little skills he believed he actually have in mountain traversing. Immediately she started off in the direction of the mountains, scoffing again and sticking his tongue out at Julie.
"Well maybe your pony is brave! But I dunno about yer sheep!" He commented. He’d mildly forgotten that they’d gone barging into the haunted house place after all. "But my bears are still braver! So there!" And with that he picked up speed and took off in a run, "and I’ma find them and show you that they’re really brave!"

Cyrus opened his eyes, finding himself staring up at what appeared to be a serene blue sky. Wait. Wait. He sat up with a jolt as he slowly realized that this was definitely not where he had fallen asleep. There was fresh green grass with many different paths crossing through it, as well as a huge tree that seemed to be in the center of it all. What in the hell was going on? He immediately looked around for the suspected culprit. This was bound to have something to do with that damned mesprit. The cream blond haired male would have shouted for the pokemon, but he was at a loss as to what to even call it. Besides, something else came to his attention as he got to his feet.
He was wearing nothing but the towel wrapped around his waist. Cursing under his breath, he quickly ducked behind a tree while not compromising himself. What was this place, and why was he here? There was no way he would have left the hotel in just a towel. Especially not into this odd looking... forest? Yeah, it seemed to be something like a forest. His sharp golden gaze peered around, still keeping an eye out for that pesky legendary as well as seeing if there was anyone else around that might have witnessed him.
"Wow, you really conked out." Cyrus looked up to find the source of the voice.Spirit was lounging on a branch above him in the tree in a very casual manner. It only pissed the Egyptian off more. "Ha ha. undo whatever the ******** this is and maybe I won't sell you to some scumbag to turn you into a mount." Cyrus growled, glaring up at the legend. "This? None of this is my doing. You just passed out on the bed after sending loverboy a text. I have no idea who made this dreamworld gig. ... wonder if it was cresselia...?" Spirit replied with a thoughtful expression. Cyrus was not buying it, but he really was lacking of any other explanation at the moment. Plus, the legend had said something interesting.
"Dreamworld? What the ********> Cy commented, disgruntled. If this was a dream world, could he technically dream up some clothes? Why was the Mesprit.... well, no. Actually, that made sense. Of course the legendary would have slipped in to torment him more. In the small amount of time that he knew them, he knew that much.

Truth be told, this wasn't the first time Reina had been shot at. She'd been grazed before too, but never once had she received an actual bullet wound. Needless to say, her body wasn't ready for something like that, and when she fell back from the force of being shot in the shoulder, the Egyptian struck her head against the ground hard enough to knock herself out. How odd that this would lead to a serene destination known as the Dream World. When her eyes parted, the woman simply stared up at the sky. "Hell, you did it this time Reina." The woman muttered. This had to be the afterlife right? She grinned. Nah, she wouldn't die that easily. Sitting up she gazed over at her shoulder, finding no mark what so ever, instead though she noticed Anubis resting at her side. Concern washed over her for a moment as she observed the sleeping Riolu. She'd only been conscience long enough to hear one gun shot, hopefully the gunman hadn't harmed Anubis as well. Reaching a hand over she gently rubbed the black canine's head, once she'd reached his ear the pup was visually smiling, that was until his eyes shot open and he hopped up with a fierceness in his eyes. 'REINA!' He shouted, getting up to cling to her arm, head buried between his arms. 'You're alive! I knew you couldn't of died that easily!' The canine continued sniffling between sobs. "Hold on there Anubis, it was just a shot in the shoulder right?" Anubis looked up, sniffling, his eyes grew wide as he quickly realized where they were.
After a few more sniffles and looking around, the canine looked back to Reina, climbing up onto the woman to look at her shoulder. 'But... Where is the hole? And where are we? Last I remember I was laying beside you at the hospital.' Anubis explained. "Hmm? Maybe we're dreaming than." Reina suggested. If it wasn't the afterlife, than that was the next best idea. Though, something felt odd about calling this place a dream as well. Usually her dreams were filled with old cases, or made-up cases from her sub-conscience, she hadn't had a serene dream like this since she was a child. 'I guess... Does your shoulder hurt, Reina?' Anubis asked. The Egyptian rose her hand to Anubis' head, patting him gently. "Not in the least. Good thing you don't feel pain in dreams." She replied, even rolling her shoulder a bit to emphasis that she was pain free. "So, tell me, since it appears we're sharing this dream, you'd know what happened after I was shot." Anubis nodded to this. Climbing down he took a seat on a flat mushroom which grew from the base of the giant tree they were underneath. 'A lot of people hurt the shot, but no one could tell where it came from. Nurse Joy rushed out, but quickly ran back in to call an Ambulance, while Blissey came out and slowed the bleeding down. It was good thing you got shot outside a Pokemon Center.' Anubis paused, grinning a bit at his own words before gazing downward. 'I just kinda.... did as Blissey ordered, I was... unsure of what to do, you've never been shot before. An-anyway, the Ambulance came, and everyone save Anka came along with. Anka went back to the agency to tell Miss Assistant what happened. You should of heard her. You think Miss Assistant is scary angry.... you should of saw her, Reina... We should be nicer to Miss Assistant after this.' Reina couldn't help but laugh, leaning back with a wide grin on her face. "Let me guess they had to call security?" Anubis nodded, smiling himself. "And even security was scared of her?" Again the canine nodded. 'She kept calling everyone incompetent, and nearly beat you up with a pillow saying 'stupid' and 'I knew this would happen one day' among other things.'
Reina leaned back, resting her head on a pillow that seemed to of appeared out of nowhere. That was Miss Assistant alright. It seemed stereotypical to say Miss Assistant was the only person Reina was truly afraid of, but it was still very much true. Not that Miss Assistant would ever actually do anything to hurt Reina, the two shared a bond like no other. Stronger than best friends they were sisters truly. If something were to happen to Miss Assistant, Reina's life would fall apart at the seams. To hear that woman had nearly gotten herself banned from the Hospital was no surprise to her.
As time seemed to sail on by, Reina eventually stood up from her spot, taking in the scenery before her. This was quite the hub of activity, as it seemed multiple paths lead out in every which direction. From her spot she could see a forest, a mountain and a dark bit of sky that seemed to suggest it was nighttime in a specific area of this dream. "What an odd dream indeed." Reina voiced, gazing down to Anubis who quickly got up and climbed up to Reina's shoulders. 'Is this like a 'choose your own path' book?' The canine inquired. "Hmm, seems like it. Tell me, Anubis... where do you think we should go? Might as well explore while we're asleep, I'm guessing they knocked me out cold while that wound heals up a bit." No doubt she'd be sleeping like a baby for the next few weeks, maybe months, she wasn't sure entirely how bad the shot was. "Tell me, Anubis. What the doc's say about my shoulder?" Reina asked. 'Huh? Oh! Yea, you're double lucky. They said the bullet went clean through and missed your bone. It tore up your muscle something fierce, but they said you'd heal up just fine.' Anubis looked down at Reina, gazing over to the shoulder that had been shot. ' Who ever shot at you was a poor marksman.' Reina had to think on that for a moment. Were they a poor shot? Or was this just a warning?

When the Ninetales didn't immediately respond Huey worried that he hadn't spoken loud enough the first time, after all she didn't even seem to notice his presence. So, that left him with the option of... waiting another few seconds, to see if maybe she would, or he tried calling out to her a second time; the second option wasn't the worst, in fact it was the one that made the most sense. Though, he wasn't too sure that would even work, the pokemon was in her own world, bemoaning her plight and saying that she was 'doomed'. It really was worrying, but at the very least it solidified that she really needed help. And he was here to help, as best he could, if only she would notice him...
He was hesitant to touch her, even if that was probably the next best way to get her attention, because he didn't know how she would react to this. Dream or not, the last thing he wanted was to startle her and then have her attack him; dream or not, pain was still a deterrent for him. It was a bit ironic, he was so caught up in trying to figure out how to get the pokemon to notice him, nervously looking around the area after some time had passed, that he didn't even notice... when she finally did. He stared at her and she, in return, stared back, and several seconds passed by before he took the initiative and introduced himself.
That seemed to trigger something, and suddenly the Ninetales was reacting, moving forward -- far too quickly for Huey. With a half-yelp he fell back onto his hands at the pokemon's sudden lunge, though his reaction was out of surprise than fear, and he was rather quick to recover when she stopped only a few inches from him and offered an apology. "Oh, uhm, no, not too much," he assured, while his heart still raced a bit. It was calming down though. Honestly, he was just glad he was finally starting a conversation with the Ninetales, as odd as that sounded, and when she offered a smile he responded in kind, striking up a small, albeit genuine, smile of his own, "It's nice to meet you, Eir."
Huey listened intently, adding in the appropriate head nods along the way to show that he was adamantly paying attention. "Oh." A lost pokemon searching for her trainer, though the circumstances were different in the back of his mind he couldn't help but to compare Eir's situation with the one he'd faced earlier. That was in the back of his mind though, and he didn't focus on that. He had someone to help after all! With a more self-assured smile, and a firmer nod, he stood slowly to his feet. "I can definitely help you out," he reassured, before he glanced back towards the big tree, the only real landmark. "I saw a bunch of adults back that way, so maybe your trainer is somewhere there?" With his head still turned in the direction of the tree, he held up a finger to Eir, indicating that she should wait a moment, before using that same hand to pull out a pokeball.
As the blonde turned back to face his new friend--or helpee? He wasn't sure what the correct term here was--he simultaneously released Belle from her capsule. The great bird of prey materialized on the ground, wings tucked in and steely gaze resting solely on her trainer. She remained unruffled (heh, something of a pun) at this strange new world she found herself in, and instead waited for a command from Huey. He appreciated that about her, though he couldn't help but to wonder just where her commitment came from. Training? Or, was it just her personality? Bah, he couldn't let himself get distracted.
"Eir, this is Belle. Belle, this is Eir." Using his hand to motion to both pokemon, he introduced the two to each other, then continued speaking, "We're going to help Eir find her trainer -- if you don't mind. I think you'll be a great help." After all, she could get a bird's eye view of the entire area (another pun). Belle dipped her head into a nod, she'd be of service. Semi-confident in his plan of his, Huey turned to Eir for confirmation. While he waited for it, however, the young boy reached a hand out to hesitantly pet her in between the ears. "Don't worry, I won't leave you alone."

☆ ☆【With Orpheus now off on scouting duty for the time being, Zoey stuck with Coltrane as she kept a hand nestled into his thick mane. As much as she felt able to stand well enough on her own now that the sluggishness she’d been feeling earlier had more or less gone away by now, she didn’t quite trust herself to be able to balance on her own just yet. It was probably best to not wander around too much anyways, at least not until Orpheus came back with his report. Right now, what mattered most was finding Eir… Zoey hoped the Ninetales hadn’t gone too far away from where they were, and hopefully she wasn’t in any sort of danger... Jeez, this really was a very inconvenient time for her to spontaneously lose Piper’s Pokeball for seemingly unknown reasons, with the Noivern being the only flying Pokemon she had being able to get a bird’s eye view of this place would’ve have helped a lot. She could only hope that Orpheus’s search at least turned up something… ”Can ya pick up any trace of Eir’s scent at all, Coltrane?” she asked, glancing down at the Lycanroc who was acting as her guard dog and makeshift crutch currently. Of course, with so many people and other Pokemon around here being able to distinguish a certain scent from among so many others would hardly be an easy feat even for the best tracker. Still, it was worth a shot on the off chance that their missing companion might have passed by here recently.
Coltrane gave a low growl as he complied, pressing his nose to the ground and sniffing diligently around their immediate vicinity for any trace. A myriad of other smells assaulted his nose, freshly dug earth, green grass, blooming flowers, and numerous other aromas of humans and Pokemon alike, but no sign of any scent that would be indicative of Alolan Ninetales. Snorting as he withdrew his head, blowing off a few bits of loose grass that had gotten stuck to his nose, the Lycanroc shook his head solemnly in answer.”N-No good… Too many other th- smells around here to really pick anything out,”he murmured under his breath, tail lowered in frustration as he kept a vigilant eye out. ”Yeah… didn’t think so,” Zoey said with a frown as she blew out a breath, running her free hand through her hair, ”Let’s just hope she didn’t end up too far from here, Arceus knows how large this whole place really is…” As she spoke, her eyes found themselves drawn away from the gigantic tree marking the center of the place towards what looked like several different paths leading out and away in numerous different directions. She noted a path of especially thick grass going towards what looked like a huge forest, a dirt trail leading towards an enormous mountain just off in the distance, and a sandy one that meandered its way to a nearby beach area that opened into a vast glittering ocean. There were… quite a few different interesting areas to go to from here… but if Eir might have ended up in a place that wasn’t here, Zoey felt that perhaps checking out that mountain next would be their best bet.
Up in the tree, Orpheus carefully navigated his way around, digging his claws into the bark to keep himself steady as he stepped and hopped from branch to branch. Many more Pokemon sleeping in their apparent bubble beds, large and small alike, were nestled among the leaves and boughs, and the Zoroark took great care to maneuver around them as he scouted about. He wasn’t entirely certain of what might happen if he were to touch those strange bubbles, and he was far from keen on finding out for himself. Waiting for a few seconds as an especially large one containing a blissfully snoozing Snorlax cruised past, the night-haired fox leapt to another branch and peered down at the ground below. Given Eir’s appearance compared to most other Ninetales he had seen before, being able to distinguish her among a crowd of other people and Pokemon surely wouldn’t be that hard… Actually finding where she was, however, was very much like trying to find a needle in a haystack. But if his assumption was indeed correct, then it was quite likely that she was somewhere around this area in particular since it seemed this was where all of the people and Pokemon first turned up after entering this strange dream world. And thankfully it seemed that a lot of the other people and Pokemon around the base of the tree were starting to filter out towards the other areas, which he had quite a good, clear view of from his vantage point.
He could make out quite a few different kinds of biomes that all seemed to be connected to this main area by a number of paths, a huge forest that he could detect the faintest smell of honey from, a great ocean that sparkled under the bright light of the perpetual sun overhead, the opening of a cave that was littered with large icicles and marked by snow-covered pine trees… Seemed there was no shortage of interesting places to explore, he swore he could even see what looked like a creepy house out within the woods that reminded him very much of the kinds he used to curate for during Spookival. A warm nostalgic smile crossed his face as those memories came flooding back, as much as he missed working the festival he felt a fair bit happier being able to go and explore the world alongside Zoey and his new companions. He wondered where their adventures might take them next, and what interesting people they’d meet along the way… Pushing those thoughts aside for now, though, he needed to focus on the task at hand as he turned his attention towards the gatherings of people around the base of the tree. Suddenly, there! A flash of familiar blue-white caught his eye, and as he focused on it he could make out a certain Alolan Ninetales a bit of a ways away from a small gathering of people. Seemed she had found some company as he noted a small blonde-haired kid and a bird Pokemon he vaguely recognized as a Staraptor with her, another trainer perhaps? Well, it was certainly good to see that she wasn’t alone… and it seemed like the kid and his bird were offering to help her, at least he certainly hoped so… Regardless, he made note of their location and turned to quickly head back down to report his findings to Zoey, seemed Eir was a fair bit closer than he’d initially thought.
Meanwhile, in her excitement at finally being saved by this young child who had suddenly shown up to offer his help, Eir was perhaps a bit too overenthusiastic as she practically threw herself at Huey, causing the boy to yelp and fall back onto his hands as she narrowly missed bowling right into him. Upon realizing this, she quickly dialed it down a notch or two as she settled herself a good few inches away to give him ample space and immediately offered an apology. Thankfully, he seemed more surprised than frightened from her overzealous reaction, assuring her that she hadn’t scared him that much as he quickly recovered from his minor fall and took a moment to calm down. The Alolan Ninetales gave a sheepish smile as she rubbed at an ear with a paw, which quickly transitioned to a bright grin as she introduced herself back, tails wagging happily as Huey returned the sentiment.
She went on to explain the situation of how she’d ended up separated from her trainer upon arriving here, noting Huey’s body language as he nodded in response to indicate that he was listening intently. Eir was quite happy that it seemed like Huey genuinely wanted to help, though the short response of ‘Oh’ made her tilt her head slightly in curiosity. Still, she smiled widely as he assured her that he would definitely be able to help her out, looking back towards the giant tree that was the single most remarkable landmark around here as Huey mentioned seeing a lot of adults back there and suggesting that perhaps her trainer was there somewhere.”I… think so? I would’ve checked that way myself, but… Wandering around didn’t seem like the best idea when I’m already lost enough as is,”she explained with a frown, shaking her head as her ears flattened a little. Not to mention that there being so many people and Pokemon around would make navigating quite a bit difficult, she could’ve very well passed her trainer by without even realizing it…
She sat and waited attentively as Huey signaled her to do so, pulling out a Pokeball and releasing a large bird Pokemon she didn’t recognize who stood by vigilantly as it materialized out of the capsule as if waiting for orders. The Ninetales eyed the bird curiously, wagging her tails and offering a friendly smile as Huey introduced the two of them to each other.”What a lovely name~ It’s very nice to meet you, Belle,”she reciprocated as she dipped her head politely to the bird, nodding in wholehearted agreement as Huey suggested that Belle would be a great help in finding her trainer,”Yeah! That’s a great idea! Being able to search from high up would definitely be much easier!”She bounced eagerly on her paws as Belle nodded in confirmation that she’d be glad to lend her assistance, unable to help but feel a surge of excitement to have such capable folks helping her. She paused momentarily, however, when Huey reached a hand out and gently pat her head, assuring her that he wouldn’t leave her alone.”Th-Thanks…”she said softly with a small, grateful smile, nuzzling against the little boy’s hand as she welcomed the touch, gently guiding it down along her neck to encourage him to pet her.
Oh right, she probably should tell them what Zoey looked like so it would make it easier for Belle to spot her.”Ah… um, well, to start my trainer is really, really tall,”Eir quickly moved to try and explain, leaning back a bit on her haunches and lifting her front paws up into the air as high as she could manage in an attempt to demonstrate how big the woman was,”I’m talking like… suuuuuuper tall! She’s probably the tallest lady I’ve ever seen, like a super-mega-ultra lady!”Well, maybe that was exaggerating it a little bit… but it was rather difficult for Eir to really show them given her fairly short canine stature and four legged stance.”Oh! And she’s got red hair too… but, I guess it’s not exactly red… It’s honestly more like a reddish-brown color, kinda like that really pretty looking wood people make things like chairs and tables out of,”she went on, reaching a paw up and combing through her thick, poofy mane,”And it’s pretty long too, kinda like how mine is, but she usually keeps it in a ponytail… Ah, and she wears dark clothes, like black shirt, dark colored pants, and big, thick boots… Like, she looks like she’s really gruff n’ tough n’ could kick butt real good, but she’s actually very nice~”She glanced up at Huey as she finished her probably helpful explanation, hoping that what information she could offer would be enough to give them an idea of what Zoey looked like. Cyrus grumbled at the mesprit, who was looking quite amused. He didn't like it. Cyrus was still hiding in bushes with his back to a tree, only having a towel around his waist. There was no way he was going to stay like this, and he had no interest in exploring this place, anyways. "You're supposed to be some kind of legend or something, so why don't you just do whatever it is you do and get me out of here?" he stated, giving a pointed look at Spirit.
Spirit was, of course, highly amused. There was plenty of things he could do. He really had wanted to see what more this place had, and what kinds of scenarios he could put this guy into in this place. Even at the Egyptian's request for help getting out gave him plenty of ideas on how to have some fun while technically still doing what was asked of him. A devious little smile appeared on his face. "Hm? You want to leave so soon?" Cyrus squinted. He didn't like that expression on the legend's face. "No matter what it takes, right?" the mesprit asked, still sounding sickeningly sweet and innocent. "Yeah, whatever. Just get me the ******** out of here." he agreed, disgruntled.
That is where Cyrus completely ******** up.
"Alright. What is it again about dreams.... ah, yes. That should work." Spirit babbled to himself as Cyrus suddenly felt his body being lifted. "s**t no ******** put me down!""You said you wanted out. So I'm helping you." Cyrus flailed about as the psychic was lifting him up in the air, high above the trees. Even higher than the center tree in the dreamscape. He felt like he was going to get sick. Spirit just hummed along, bringing him higher until he seemed to decide that was high enough.
Spirit finally stopped the ascent, leaving Cyrus unable to help but stare down at the tiny tops of the trees way far below him. <********>. "I think this should work." Spirit said with a smile. "What - no. nononono don't you ******** dare!" Cyrus started to go into full panic mode, dreading what was to come. Spirit held a little hand up to his mouth with an amused expression. "It's time to wake up, Cyrus." the mesprit said.
And then, Cyrus started his free fall to the ground. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Cy screamed on the way down, but quickly lost his voice to the velocity of his fall. It was like he couldn't even inhale to exhale another shout of terror. The ground was quickly getting closer, the details of the trees becoming more visible. s**t, he was going to die here, wasn't he? That ******** psychotic little s**t of a mesprit! The Egyptian braced himself for impact, fearing the worst.

Azalea looked at Alex for a moment when he insisted he could do art, considering whether or not to ask. "What kind of art can you do?" She asked before dropping the bomb on him. Figuratively of course. Her rhymes were so sweet that Azalea supposed she must have rendered Alex speechless, because his eyes kinda glazed over in the way that the other team skull dorks' did when she tried to explain the science behind her special spray paint. Of course, when she did that it was usually intentional in order to bore them. This reaction from Alex just told her she had her work cut out for her. Not that she really could blame the kid—the intricacies of rap were pretty difficult to master, much less understand if you didn't have the aptitude to properly appreciate it. At least he nodded and gave a thumbs up to pretend like he totally got it. What a dork. She thought with all the fondness her lack of expression couldn't show.

She sat up, and glancing around she found Alex not too far away from her cuddling his bulbasaur. Weird. What would he be doing in a dream of hers? "Yo, Alex." Azalea called out to him. "You seeing this?" Well if Alex was here then this dream aught to be interesting at least. Azalea stood and brushed the grass off her legs, but as she looked back at the sleeping Alex, for a brief moment she saw someone else; a small boy with pale features, black hair, and glasses. He was so familiar, yet Azalea couldn't place him. No, it was probably just the weird lighting of this place playing tricks on him. She blinked and shook her head, clearing the vision before moving closer and nudging him roughly with her foot. "Hey. Wake up." She insisted. Azalea was fairly certain that they were fine, but in the event that they'd been captured and transported somewhere for some reason, she didn't want Alex sleeping through it.
First, she checked her bag. Her pokemon were still with her, so that suggested she hadn't been kidnapped maliciously at least. Kidnapping was still a possibility though. She sent out Jasmine and Lavender as a precaution, plus she liked having a giant pincushion to ride around on.

✦ ✦Aiden noticed the look Natalia gave him when he explained that her reasoning for her odd behavior only explained some things, as much as he wanted to accept that her lost memories from the time warp was mainly to blame it just didn’t make sense in the context of some of the more erratic behavior she had displayed before. If anything, he highly suspected that it had something more to do with her psychosis, which Aria was quick to telepathically supply a helpful explanation. He had to admit that the Delphox had a point… Remembering when he first saw her taking those pills she had back in New Bark, it seemed like she was had a certain level of self-awareness about her condition. But after losing her memories due to the time warp… that would certainly make things a bit more worrisome, combined with what Aria had mentioned before about the meds that she was using right now not being as effective with managing her symptoms if she’d been taking them for an extended period of time. He certainly agreed with the Delphox that it would probably be better to give Natalia the medication they got from Nurse Joy, and perhaps continue to switch her over onto a different regimen after some time to prevent her body from building up resistance. Only thing was… how was he to go about doing that? It wasn’t like he could just hand her the new bottle of pills and ask her to start taking them, right? He wasn’t entirely sure how she might react to that… He probably could just ask Aria or Nyomii to slip the new meds into her bag, but… somehow he didn’t feel that was right to do… Perhaps he should think it over more tomorrow, for now focusing primarily on their conversation.
He listened as Natalia objected to his statement, insisting that she didn’t feel like she needed to hide things from him and that she was just being selective in what she wanted to share and what she felt like he should know. ”That’s understandable… What you choose to share with me is entirely your own business, after all, and I wouldn’t force you to tell me something you probably aren’t comfortable with telling me,” he said, nodding slowly as she went on to say that she appreciated his concern and that she’d ask for his help if she needed it, ”That’s fair. If you ever need help with anything at all, then I’m all ears, and I promise I won’t judge either.” He offered a soft smile to her, listening as she seemed to somewhat accept his offer of helping her with remembering more recent events as she asked for confirmation that they haven’t fought Whitney yet. ”Yes, that’s correct. Bugsy was about as far as we got before we ended up getting a little sidetracked with things like attending the Tanabata,” he chipped in, ”So for now, we should concentrate on training up to take on Whitney. After that, we’ll make our way over to Ecruteak for our next badge from Morty, and so on.”
When he went on to say that he’d much rather know how he could fix a problem than be worried about it and not know what to do, she spoke up, asking that maybe she didn’t necessarily want him to help. She seemed to backtrack a bit, insisting that it wasn’t because he was useless, but more that there were perhaps some things that he just wouldn’t be able to help out with or that perhaps she just wanted to deal with it on her own. He nodded as she went on to say that while she appreciated the sentiment she didn’t feel comfortable with depending on other people for her problems, and that she was a big girl who could handle her own stuff. ”I know… And if you feel like you can deal with certain things on your own, then I will respect and support your decision,” he spoke, sighing softly as he pursed his lips a little, ”Still… sometimes there are some things that one person can’t necessarily handle on their own, or it takes a long, long while for them to be able to get back on their own two feet again... Believe me, I’ve been in a place like that before… I’m not saying that you have to always depend on me to help, Natalia, but knowing that you have someone to turn to when you really need it most can be nice, you know?” That being said, however, a quick glance at the clock on the nightstand between their beds told him that perhaps they’d allowed this conversation to go on long enough. He had promised to keep it relatively brief, after all, and closed the discussion for the night as they made preparations and settled into bed.
When Natalia seemed quite shocked at the idea of sharing a room together, Aiden assured her that this wasn’t the first time they had done so before as he brought up what had happened with Kyurem back in Violet City. The surprised expression gradually melted into recollection as he gave a brief explanation, the girl checking her Pokemon and realizing that Kyurem had been one of the Pokemon that she had lost. ”Yeah… So it seems, unfortunately,” he said with a slow, solemn nod, furrowing her brow slightly, ”Still, if what Celebi said is anything to go by, at the very least Kyurem ended up in good hands. Who knows, maybe someday we might actually see it again, and all the other Pokemon that went missing too…” Of course, the likelihood of that was probably slim to none considering that they didn’t even know which trainers Natalia’s lost Pokemon had ended up going to. Still, one could never really know for sure, fate could have quite the surprise in store for them. That being said, however, if Natalia didn’t object to them sharing the room together then that was fine by him. They shared their good nights as they got settled in, Aiden unable to help but smile a little wider as Natalia looked away, just barely catching a glimpse of her flushed cheeks before he turned himself around and drifted off to sleep. Thalia gave a soft smile as she curled up on the covers next to the girl, nodding as Natalia confirmed that she would try to sleep and purring softly as she was gently stroked. The Sylveon leaned against the girl as she was snuggled, closing her eyes and letting sleep take her as well.
The sudden feeling of warmth beating down on him caused Aiden to stir a little as he turned over in his sleep, momentarily pausing upon realizing that something felt… strangely different. The sensation of fresh, cool grass seemed to have replaced what would’ve otherwise been the soft sheets and pillows of the bed he was supposed to be in. Odd… had he somehow ended up outside in the middle of the night? That couldn’t be it, as far as he knew he had never once sleepwalked in his entire life… And why did it feel so warm all of the sudden? The sudden feeling of a gentle muzzle pushing against his cheek stirred him more into alertness as a voice suddenly spoke up from close by, a voice that he didn’t recognize yet somehow it sounded so very familiar.”’Ey, Aiden! Ya awake there, buddy?”it said, sounding fairly mature yet quite energetic as the nuzzling came once again,”Hey hey, wake up! Ya really gotta see this!”That finally prompted Aiden to open his eyes, blinking in confusion and surprise upon seeing the familiar face of a certain Jolteon hovering above him. ”…Dag?” he asked, disbelief leaking into his voice upon faintly realizing that it had been the Jolteon’s voice he’d been hearing, ”Was that… Was that you talking to me just now?”
Daguerro gave a cheery bark, wiggling a little as he nodded eagerly in confirmation.”The one and only! At least now I know you can hear me, seems in this world I’m actually able to talk to ya for once! Pretty neato, huh?”he spoke up, ears perked as he flashed a bright grin at his trainer. Aiden blinked as he tried to process what was going on, how was he able to hear his Jolteon talk when he hadn’t been able to do so before? And what exactly did Daguerro mean by ‘this world’? ”I mean… Yeah, of course, but… What exactly is going on?” he inquired, realizing that beyond where Dag stood over him there was a clear blue sky with a bright sun. How strange… he was sure it had been night when he had fallen asleep, so how could it be day already?”Oh right! About that… how about ya take a look around n’ see for yourself?”the Jolteon suggested, stepping back a little to give Aiden a bit more space. Still rather confused, the blonde shifted a little before slowly sitting himself up, blinking in disbelief upon seeing the enormous grassy hill that they had somehow ended up on, which further expanded towards numerous paths that seemed to lead in several different directions towards other areas in the distance. What caught his attention the most, however, was the gigantic tree that stood in the center of it all, bright sunrays filtering through its great branches as it loomed above everything around it. But… how could they be in a place like this if they had last been in the Pokemon Center in Goldenrod? Unless… perhaps this was actually a dream? Aiden wasn’t entirely sure of what to think… last he remembered his dreams weren’t usually quite this lucid. The cool, lush grass below him… the soft breeze ruffling his hair… the faintly floral scent that filled his nose…
”Is this really a dream…?” he asked, slowly bringing himself to stand up as he peered up at the titanic tree before him.”Yes, yes it is,”spoke a voice from nearby, one that he clearly recognized as Aria as the Delphox moved to stand by him,”But… something about this feels rather strange, not quite like any typical dream that I’ve ever had at least. I can clearly sense that we are still in the Pokemon Center in Goldenrod, our physical bodies at least… And yet we seem to be well in control of our apparent other bodies here as well as easily as we can our physical ones. For a dream, this feels surprisingly real.”Aiden nodded in agreement with Aria, this felt much too real for it to simply be a dream, but he didn’t doubt that they were apparently in some kind of strange sort of dream world based on the Delphox’s suspicions. Still… if he and his Pokemon had ended up in this place, then perhaps... Aiden quickly tore his eyes away from the tree, searching the immediate vicinity for a certain brunette, surely if he had ended up here then it was possible that she might have as well. Sure enough, only a few feet away he saw the sleeping form of Natalia laying in the grass, with a familiar Sylveon cradled in her arms that was nuzzling and nudging at her to try and wake her up. ”Natalia?” the blonde called out, keeping his voice down a bit as to not agitate her too much as he approached, offering a small smile towards Thalia as the little Fairy-type’s ears perked upon noticing him.”Aiden~”she called out to him, her soft, sweet sounding voice sounding foreign yet familiar to his ears now that he could apparently understand his Pokemon.
”Hey, Thalia,” the young man greeted quietly, bending down next to the both of them with a warm smile. Reaching a hand out, he gently patted the Sylveon’s head and scratched behind an ear before moving it towards Natalia, lightly pushing against her shoulder to try and shake her awake. ”Hey… wake up,” he said, shaking her a few times to hopefully rouse her, ”I, uh... think you might want to see this…” He still wasn’t entirely sure of what to make of this strange dream world they had ended up in… And while he felt like they were more or less safe in spite of the weirdness of this situation, he couldn’t help but feel that voice in the back of his head urging him to exercise caution on the off chance that perhaps this might be Void’s doing somehow. Either way, it was probably best to stay alert and be careful until they could hopefully figure out more about this odd dream world…✦ ✦

Rose's eyes fluttered open, finding herself laying in a patch of grass under a huge tree. At first, she didn't even question it, yawning and rolling over to get comfortable again. The grass tickled at her nose as she did so, causing her to open her eyes again, blinking. She had been quite sure she had been in a bed.... wait, was this a dream? Rose sat up, scratching her head as she took in her surroundings. Fynx was nowhere to be seen, yet... this place gave her a serene sensation, as if everything was just fine.
Getting to her feet, she was able to see that there were quite a few different paths leading from the towering tree nearby. What could these paths lead to? As she pondered about her current surroundings, one of her pokemon appeared beside her. It was Rye, who looked a lot more solid and fluffy for some reason. Perhaps this really was a dream. He wasn't even floating in the air, either. Standing on the ground beside her like you would expect from any other not ghost type pokemon. "Aww... hello, Rye~" she cooed, squatting down to reach out and touch him. He felt so fluffy, and seemed to purr at her touch. She chuckled, scratching behind his ear before straightening out again.
Things seemed like they really were just in a dream world, so she decided to start to walk, Rye following along. She was not expecting to really see anyone else she recognized, so she was surprised as she saw a familiar figure ahead. That was her new cop friend, right? Rose approached the woman, smiling. "Bonjour~" she greeted cheerfully. "If you are also here... do you know what place this is?" she asked, tilting her head slightly. It would be nice to know what kind of a place this was. It sure felt calm and relaxing to her, but she did not want to run into any surprises. After all, that ball seemed great at first, too.
