The dark dragon woke from its slumber. Things that happened to come and go for days, weeks, months, or even years. It had been months this time since any activity came from his cave. As he lifted his head he let out a roaring yawn. The beast had awoken. Because of the caverns design it could be heard at any of the nearby towns or villages. Most did not fear him as he was not evil.

Malleus turned his attention to a single figuare in the darkness of his cave. So someone had woken him. It was a boy frozen in fear having been exploreing the caves. He had no idea it was inhabited. With a soft rumble of question the boy yelped and ran his way back to town screaming about a monster. So he doesn't even know what I am. With a sigh he pondered going out into the world to see what has changed.

Perry looked back. She..was following them. However at her statement his kindess overwhelmed his sense of worry. "I..know a place you can work..in the town of domina..only one girl runs the inn there and she could use some help..or in lumina monique could use some help running the lamp shop and in Geo the school is always looking for teachers assistance."

Perry was still worried. It wasn't safe so a non jumi to travel with them . He hoped they would get to Geo and leave her there before she became to close with them. Suddenly he had a flash back of somone turning to stone and he shuddered. It was to much for him and a tear trickled down his face turning into a crystal as it hit the ground. He flinched terrified that if Diam saw that he would realize how imporant perry was to the survial of there race and force him to go home.

Finally Malleus made up his mind. He rose from his curled up state and began the long process of working out the stiffness in his joints while he walked through the passage ways that lead to the outside world. It did not surprise him that when he got outside the boy had brought friends who did not believe him.

There was a total of five kids all now gaping at the dust covered black scales that formed the body of the beast. Once glistening horns showed the age and wear of his slumber. Carefully he'd speak but like most of his kind it was a sort of telepathic speech in this form. "Be not afraid children. No harm will fall on you by my teeth or claws."

Comingc ompletly from his cave he gave his mighty wings a good stretch then a flap or two. Eventually he had gone up into the sky yet low enough to nearly brush tree tops. He'd fly once around the village checking it out before heading off towards the city. Malleus had to reconnect himself to the world and how things had been shaped in his slumber.

Diam blushed and hugged perry back "Erm...you could meet Capella and Diddle, they are wandering juglars...maybe you could travel with them sweatdrop "

" 3nodding yup thats the friend we're visiting" Diam said with a smile
"And another teacher tried to make the star to fall, im sure they'll let you in"
