The night was chugging along just fine for Kane, both in the crowd and mingling a little (really--very, very little) and in the games area. His pocket was nice and full of gold coins by now but the jingling noise was mostly drowned out by the music and chattering of all the creeple, so it didn't bother him a whole lot. He made the usual rounds to whack walkers, shoot arrows, and try and scare birds away, and now he'd finally gotten back around to the arguing duo beside a haystack. He gave a half-hearted wave to greet them but otherwise went about the game on his own. He fished around the haystack for a while until he felt something, so he grabbed it and pulled it out to show the gnomes. As soon as they saw it they paused their argument and started yelling at him all of the sudden, so without a second thought he threw the key back into the stack and started walking away. He could live without the coin they would give him if it meant not having to deal with all the yelling. No yelling, please.
