Don't beat them up too bad
He didn't understand that, they were all enemies weren't they? Enemies should beat up enemies until they learned the errors of their ways. Whatever, he would continue to follow his dutiful and benevolent Captain. Pausing as the thicket of trees came into view. He remembered this part well, it was here, that all of his troubles had come to fruition. on this patch of Sky island that his world was turned upside down. Where Cezar won, and succeeded inc rumbling the infrastructure of his life. Asche helped, but he didn't know he did. So there was no point in being mad at him. Besides, Cezar was dead now, at least he hoped she was. He had all of his memories back, and all of the heartache that came along with it. He would overlook the ruins, the place where the fire started and Asche's father perished. To the spot where he had shot a guard dead with a single bullet. Cezar or not, he should have been strong enough to best her. But in mind he was still a young child, there wasn't much he could do in a game of wits with an adult. He was good at hitting stuff, but that was just about it.
'King.'
His eyes lifted, pausing a moment with his thoughts. Shaking them off to notice the Shandians swarming their position. Well, perhaps not swarming, they weren't quite on the verge of attacking. More like hiding, waiting in anticipation to see what the two would do. If they did anything at all, Adrian didn't seem too keen on fighting, but everything in Riven's being was telling him to throw a punch. "Yeh, I get that, still kinda dull tho." He leaned back, wrapping his hands behind his head, allowing the fingers to intertwine. His Haki scanning the numbers around them, or rather their strengths. Even compared to Adrian the crowd was nothing, maybe he was just bullying them. Still, he really felt like he wanted to hit something. Repressing his anger to hold onto his child like demeanor would probably backfire at some point. Hopefully not right now. Not that he actually worried about things like that.
Odd, the evil the Marines always told you about Pirates, it wasn't always so. Sure, taking over Skypeia was inherently a bad thing. Because they weren't the World Government, but if the people of Skypeia are safe under your banner does it really matter. If the Pirates fought so hard to protect their friends, how could they be evil. Because they beat up anyone hurting their friends. They broke into prisons and jails to save those they cared about. Someone like Riven, couldn't even be visited once in a years time. He messed up once, there was no shaking that fact, even if he had no control. He messed up, and everyone he wanted to come for him never showed not once. His eyes began to well up with water.
'No one came to help me ...' He could feel a stiffness on the bridge of his nose, bleeding into the bottom of his eye lids. Stinging, until he blunk and the well was let loose. His small pale face was flooded with water. He did his best to hold back his cries, much like he did at Impel Down. The Marines were nice like this once, as long as you were always good. You never made a mistake, you never did anything out of line. You obeyed every order. You died when they said and lived when they were kind enough to let you. But mess up, he never knew that wasn't allowed. That anything outside of perfection was intolerable. Even for Oshino and Shio. "URRRAAAAGH!!" His body dashed full speed, the feeling had boiled inside of him again, that he just wanted to hit something. He blew passed Adrian and into the Shandians that stood in front of him. At once their bodies went flying from sheer force. Tumbling and breaking into broken walls of the Shandian ruins.
'PIRATES DUN CARE ABOUT THAT!" His sharpened gaze stared forward, to the resting place of the Shandians previous God. The fire marks were prevalent there. And slowly he made his way, knocking passed anyone that got in his way. he fell onto his knees, folding his legs so that they lay under him. Hands resting upon his thighs, shoulders shaking. No, that couldn't be, because if Pirates felt this way ... Then were the Marines good? Why did no one come to help him when he needed it most. When his dream was in jeopardy, there were definitely people strong enough to come to his rescue.
So ... Where ... Were ... They ...
