xxxx justice is a swift hand plucking a rotten carrot!xxxxxxxxxx
So the wolf could not only speak it had a name. Perhaps it was not an it after all... Staring at what would normally try and be a natural predator for Benjamin he could only wonder what circumstances had driven this normally wild creature to join the marines. In his head it came from some strange backstory of an unnaturally high intelligence and some form of craving for justice, not little bunny's meat. It was a romantic tale to be true, but even in his own little imagined scenario's Benjamin still couldn't find a reason for the marines to allow an animal to work for them.... Strange times they lived in. Strange times indeed.
Turning to look at the people around him Benjamin could only think of one thing to truly cap off his day. He had assisted Sun in his arrest, even if the help was minimal. He'd eaten a delicious meal. It was time for a work out, and then perhaps rest. Eyes still turning from one person to the next the small minkman concocted a somewhat more enjoyable plan for his workout than exercise. Smiling softly Benjamin looked around and then voiced his idea. "You know... I have yet to actually experience any real combat. I need to do my daily work out. Would the three of you be willing to assist me in solving both problems at once?" There was an excited air about the bunny's words. He seemed to think the idea was genius and could prove perhaps fun as well. With an excited look on his face Benjamin awaited the responses of those around him.

Baram-Yu
Minkman • Assassin • Marine
Now that was a shocking string of revelations! Not only did this talking wolf have a name, but he was also a higher rank than they were. For a brief moment, Baram-Yu wasn’t sure whether she was supposed to life her hand for a salute or not. Did you salute lieutenants? Yes? No? Did that change if your lieutenant walked on four legs and had a fuzzy wuzzy tail? Probably not, but the Navy Handbook had been too thick for Baram-Yu to read and she hadn’t bothered going through any bullet points to know how she was supposed to respond to animals that were higher up on the chain of command than she was. Thus, she settled for a nod of her head. Hopefully that was enough.
Then she went back to minding her own business, munching and crunching and filling her little sheep belly. It was a nice, peaceful meal and Baram-Yu was convinced that nothing, not even a wolf, could interrupt her cheerful mood.
Then Benjamin started talking.
Baram-Yu stared.
They were accompanied by a wolf with a sword and a chicken man that was seemingly capable of breathing fire at will. ”Are you sure you’re up to something like that, bunny-buns?”
Kasiun heavily questioned this bird's choices in food. It wasn't about the taste that he was questioning....just more or less why he'd have thrown pieces of one of his kind into the food. The wolf's head tilted a bit as he was curious about it but decided not to press on. To be fair, he would probably eat another wolf if he needed to eat something and a weaker one not of his pack was around. Of course he didn't exactly have a pack so that part wasn't much of an issue. Kasiun would think and then nod, he could do what he wanted Kasiun wasn't going to stop him. He brought up that they were here to grab a bite to eat before going into the field. That was good, since Kasiun joined the marines mere days ago he had practically only been out in the field. Encounters with pirates and responding to raids. When Sun asked about the wolf's reasoning for being here, then mentioned some sort of Yonkou the wolf's demeanor turned into confusion. "What is a Yonkou?" He asked, actually curious about it as he had not known what one was. He joined civilization mere months ago, he was only aware of pirates, marines, mercenaries, and innocents.
Not too soon after that it seemed the bunny, Benjamin, had thought of his own. It was honestly more of a request. Specifically the bunny seemed to want to spar so to speak. Something Kasiun was familiar with as he had done it a lot when training with the man that had saved him from death about a year back. He seemed especially excited as well about the idea of experiencing real combat. Kasiun thought for a moment. He didn't have anything else to do really, he had no issue with such a thing. It was then that the sheep began to speak. Kasiun couldn't tell if the Baram-Yu was questioning Benjamin's decision in a good way or a bad way. Kasiun would answer Benjamin with a nod of his head. "I would be willing, to assist."

"If what you say is true, the Winged Chun and Wool Shu could be dangerous."
Maybe the wolf wasn't as top brass as Sun originally thought if he didn't even know what a Yonkou was. Or maybe -- just maybe -- he was some sort of super, secret, special agent who couldn't talk about such a classified topic! The idea garnered more interest from the bird so he chose to believe that excuse instead. He wanted to believe that idea more. That the wolf was kind of military super power that the higher ups couldn't explain in fear of backlash onto the World Government by the people. It wouldn't have been too farfetched for the wolf to be playing coy. Perhaps Sun would shadow him for awhile to see what he did in his everyday life. Sun had figured that just about everyone knew what a Yonkou was if one were an actual Marine. Then again, Sun had done more reading than her let on. Perhaps Kasiun's duties had yet to be given to him considering he'd just achieved his new rank and all.
Or maybe, just maybe, the wolf had no idea what Sun was talking about and all of his suspicions were just little creative thoughts in that bird brain of his.
With his belly filled with the nourishment of sweet, sizzling goodness the spicy chicken gave a mighty, shamelessly satisfying belch that cooked the air around him with a controlled spew of flames that simmered once his belch concluded. He'd perked up and stood up at the sound of a training regiment in the form of combat. And since the bunny had yet to experience such, Sun practically jumped to the idea once the others had given their input."I can help with that too! I'm not only a master chef, I'm also a world-class martial artist!"He boasted. It wasn't a lie if he believed it, at least not to him, and boy did he believe it.
With all the confidence in the world the fowl puffed out his bird chest as he rose, paying no mind to the hint of curry still matted against the corner of his beak."I saw we go to the training grounds for a little bout. A free-for-all? Oh, how about a two-on-two? Maybe we can pick partners by drawing straws or something...I'm not sure, but after a hardy meal I could definitely use a work out!"Sun squawked, full of enthusiasm. Sure his hands were still sore from his last bout, he'd had a few wounds and a couple of broken bones that may have needed to be checked, but he was sure he could still spar to help better his fellow Marines!
He was especially curious about the sheep, Baram-Yu. Sure, she was soft-spoken and gentle looking but her appearance was rather deceiving. Perhaps she was some kind of monk where she came from. The young fowl hadn't forgotten about the flooring of that door and how she split it in two with a single, effortless punch. He wanted to witness her style in action. Whether it was on his side or if he fought against it didn't matter much to him. He'd always been fond of strong fighters bearing odd and unique styles but it was so rare for him to actually come across them. The Wool Shu could just pose a threat to his Winged Chun, or maybe, if they combined their forces, the Winged Chun and the Wool Shu could be dangerous!
The bird turned to start making his way out, his back to them as his head craned over his shoulder,"Well, what are you guys waitin' for? Come on!"He cheered, beckoning the trio with a waving hand issuing them to follow him to the training grounds. He was excited now, pumped up. He was full of food and fighting spirit! He'd had one battle today but he wanted to see what his fellow Marines and a lieutenant were made of!
