Here they were, yet another of these damned island. How many of these ******** places were attacked anyways!? Moreover being forced to fix it all was shitty. She liked it better when she could just up and break s**t and bail without having to clean up after herself. That was way more fun. This? This was annoying. She grumbled, walking out of her cabin as she takes a drink of sake from the bottle. "Screw this damn kid and his shitty orders..." She sighed as she walked over to the rail as she huffed again. The damned kid wasn't even helping them this time. Some stupid bullshit excuse about paperwork or something else. It was dumb. Either way she'd be forced to do this while contemplating her plan to get fired or something somewhere as they had pulled up to a more 'normal' seeming island than the last at the very least.

Consisting of two primary 'mountains', the place was sort of cut down the middle as they pulled up and Komachi just sort of wobbled her head between the two peaks. She giggled a bit to herself as it kind of looked like a huge a**, or pair of tits as she hopped over the rail. There was an awful lot of ruble around here too as she chugged down the rest of the bottle before setting it down on the docks. "Mmm he can tell me I can drink ifn he aint here~" She giggled to herself, words slurred a bit as she started walking forwards, cracking her knuckles forwards with her hands as she started forming floating sand.

Cracking her head to either side, she smiled and formed the sand into solid masses, forming a large, skeleton arm and hand made entirely out of sand on her right side. She flexed her right hand's fingers, the sand mimicking the motion as she grinned, the skeletal hand being significantly much more massive than her own, almost as if it belonged to a giant as it floated just to the side of her real arm. "Guess I can use thisss to lend a hand~" She said mostly to herself before she bursts out into giggle snorting laughter from the shitty druken pun. "Ashashasha~!" She ended up falling on her back, even more amused thanks to her inebriation, while she held her stomach and the giant sand arm bangs its fist on the ground. She took a few moments before rolling over and getting back up to wipe the tears from her eyes, sighing out as she caught her breath again and started to wobble along with her drunken gait, the skeleton like hand sweeping up or crushing general debris. Using the massive hand to clean up the mess was fairly easy over as she walked along the streets, getting rid of large chinks and anything that was in the way more or less which was pretty easy, even if it was getting fairly monotonous.

Honestly, if this was all she could do as a Marine, she might just damn well lose her ******** mind like this. It was so boring and shitty. She looked around after she managed to get rid of the majority of the damned mess that she could when she had someone walk up to her again. The last guy to do that before her Marine days had been accidentally mummified and left for dead. "Hey, you're here to fix and replace everything, right?" She turned, looking at the guy with a shrug. "Yea s-something like tha..." She replied as the man seemed a bit confused about her intoxication. "That's good but...should you be drinking on the job...? Also what about all the stolen beli...?" She stopped her work as he questioned her, looking at the guy with plenty of annoyance. "Aight lookere pal! I'll drink as much as-as I damn wwwell w-want! I don tell you how ta do yer job do I!? Do don be tryna tell me how...how to do mine!" She barked at him, barely resisting the urge to backhand this man with her giant floating skeleton hand of sand.

"Ok ok, sorry! But...don't you need to...get a list of what was stolen too...?" He asked her, hands up defensively as he just wanted his s**t replaced. The redhead blinked, looking at him. This sounded like paperwork and ******** all if she was doing more paperwork. She quickly looked around and spotted that other twerp. 'something-me'. Was it 'Miyame'? She shook her head, pointing over to him with her hand, both flesh and sand. "Uh that kid! Yea ********! Yea that kid. He does...paperwork and sssstuff go ask him" She said, pinning the work on the other Marine before making her getaway to the ship again.

XXXXHere they were! Another island to help! How many poor places did the pirates ruin anyways?! Zhele was overjoyed to help the people of these islands, being trusted by the other marines at this point to do the job on her own. Zhele was happy cleaning up, if it meant she didn't have to deal with the guilt of ruining people's lives in the wake of her psychotic bends. That was not something she considered fun. Sure, at the time it was a joy-ride, but when she came down from her energetic high. When she had to deal with all the consequences of her actions. Yeah, that wasn't something to be enjoyed. This was easy compared to that. Zhele walked out of the cabin she shared with Komachi, right behind the red-head. The crimson-headed beauty was sulking again, despite them just having a talk about those very circumstances. And she was only more irritated that Enka had to leave to deal with an urgent missive. Something about a murderous cat. Zhele could only imagine that he was off dealing with some massive tiger or something. The smell of salt-air hit her as she exited through the bulk-head, a massive inhale resounding from the squid. "Aaaaah~" She sighed in joy, savoring the briny scent of the sea. It never got old. Gulls were crying overhead, which meant that land was close. Zhele's yellow orbs searched for the land-mass that was sure to be nearby, sure enough settling on the local island.

The place was like two breasts rising out of the water, massive breasts. Very perky too! Two giant mountains with a large cut right down the middle. Zhele could hear Komachi giggle to herself and knew that her girlfriend had, had the same thought. It was seconds later as Komachi hopped the railing and landed heavily on the shore below, walking up the docks. She thankfully set the bottle of sake she had been nursing for the past few days, despite Zhele's protests. At the very least she would have to curb her drinking habit a bit or she would run out of alcohol, Zhele couldn't have any more ready for seven months and she was unlikely to find any on this looted island. The place had been picked cleaned and laid to ruin in the wake of the pirate group that had made the Grand-line their stomping grounds. Zhele could hear Komachi laughing behind her as the woman clicked forward on purple heels. There was a resounding thump as Red fell on her back.

Zhele spent this time near Enka's friend, Iyame, despite his shy demeanor. The boy seemed to almost be avoiding her, but she paid the notion little heed as she sucked debris up into her swampy body to dispose of it elsewhere. The job was fairly monotonous, but it was at least rewarding to see people coming to greet them with smiling faces instead of running from them in terror. If this was all she had to do to be a marine, honestly she'd be happy. Never having to cause harm to others? That was a plus in her books. Now that she knew what it meant to have your life changed suddenly by calamity, she was not eager to bring that on other people. Zhele felt the lightest of tugs on her sleeve and turned to see who was pulling gently on her tight clothing. Her yellow eyes bespied a young boy, clinging to a stuffed bear. His lips were trembling as he looked up to the purple woman in a marine uniform. "Hi sweety! How can I help you?" Zhele chirped softly as she knelt to his eye level. She rested her hands on her knees as she smiled warmly at the boy on the verge of tears. "I-I c-can't find my mom.." The young child managed to stammer out through the slightest of sobs and hiccups. Zhele placed a hand in front of him slowly, palm up, "Here, lets go look for her honey.", dimples forming on her cheeks as she offered a sympathetic smile. The child nodded and carefully took her hand, gasping and pulling his fingers back when he touched her exceptionally cold skin. It was only for a second, then he firmly grasped Zhele's fingers nearly crushing the digits with his childish strength.

"Now, where was the last place you saw her sweety?"

The young marine was becoming tired. He had never spent so much time on the ocean before. Usually he would always end up back at Marine Hq one way or another but this time seemed to be different. With all the destruction going on, it just seemed like the work was never going to end. Iyame was feeling... upset. The only word he could think of to describe such a complex emotion. He lacked a full understanding of what he was feeling to describe it though it was very simple to explain.

Iyame, as mature and intelligent as he is, is still only a child. Children need some level of stability to fall back on to. They need security and consistency in their life. Young Iyame Jr. was not receiving that. It was thought that Enka was his stability but lately that one has been running off on his own. Not really a proper partner for someone like Iyame. It seemed that he would require someone else to follow. Maybe find a new commander.

The young boy would look out over the ocean. The sapphire blue waters looked beautiful as it passed by under the ship. The wind blowing through the young boy’s hair made him feel more at ease. It kind of reminded him of his Mother patting his head. Thinking of his Mom always seemed to calm him down. He felt loved thinking about his parents. As the ship would begin to dock at another island and marines would begin to scurry about getting things prepared for reconstruction, Iyame would cease his day dreaming when he is approached by a marine with paper work.

The young marine was usually the one doing paper work for Enka but this time he didn’t feel like it. He wanted to help this island with his own hands. He would direct the marine to an attendant on board who was qualified to do such mind numbing tasks. Iyame would remind them that they needed to fill them out in triplicate and to take breaks when needed, leaving them a small sandwich and a juice box before rushing off to aid the people of this island.

The island of Whiskey Peak looked to be in far worse condition than any of the islands that were previously visited. There was not only wide spread destruction but it seemed that merchandise and belongings had also been stolen during the rampage of whatever pirate that did this. Iyame would frown a bit as he would begin to assist his fellow marines in their work. He would start with a hands on approach by removing unwanted debris away from the area. Large stones and broken pieces of support beams. Iyame Jr. was not very strong. He was weak even for kids his age but he would not let that stop him from putting forth an effort. He would try his best and carry whathe could out of the way. This alone would boost the morale of the marines. They would see such a small boy dedicating all of his effort towards the aid of others and remember why they joined the marines!

Iyame would begin humming a whimsical tune. A tune that emboldened the spirits with a somewhat child like wonder and enthusiasm. The men would nod their heads side to side as the young boy would hum his way through the work load. Even during their break, he would hum lightly to himself which provided a much needed cheerfulness to the background instead of the dread that could be found when looking at the broken homes and the injured people. After break, Iyame would carry his musical happiness over to the medic tents where all the injured civilians were. His tune lifting their spirits as well. Iyame, however, did not come here just to hum in a corner! He came to assist! He would gather unclean syringes and place them, carefully, into a bucket. He would used another bucket to gather unclean rags and replace them with clean ones. He would then use one more bucket to gather all the wrappings that came from opening bandages, new syringes, and other medical supplies. The medical tent was now free of unwanted mess that no one else had time to clean while aiding the sick and injured.

Hours would pass and the work of the marines was done. Iyame would be sitting on a small bench near one of the tents, eating a sandwich. He worked hard this day. As his olive colored hues would stare out over the distance, he would notice a sort of emptiness. Enka wasn’t here to share this moment with him. This sense of accomplishment after a hard days work. This feeling of satisfaction after aiding these people in need. Iyame was alone with strangers. He was kind and always tried to treat everyone with respect but he did not view the marines he worked with as his friends. They were comrades but only in arms. Not personally. No. Iyame actually had very few friends and by few... he only had one. Young Iyame felt a little lost and this feeling would actually bring a tear to his eye as he would look towards the horizon but he would quickly wipe it away.

The young boy would stand up, gathering his bag, and any trash he may have made. It was time for Iyame to find his own path and to stop relying on others. It was now time for him to stand on his own two feet and march forward for a better future. A better future for himself and the world. It was time to fight back against these merciless pirates...
