-------- Down they came to a new island. Derek was well versed in his navigation or whatever. All she had to do was stockpile money, Derek lead them and the other one was the guard. This was nice, this was the life she needed. She let the sound of the waves crashing against the side of the ships fill her ears as they moved. She was happy with this, with this life. Many would change, give up and start anew. She had already been in jail once, and most would not like to go back, but she had escaped a second time just by talking. Maybe there was something bigger and better for her out there than simply jail time. She felt like a star, extending a leg out to the sky with a smile on her face. This was the life wasn't it? She had already collected some money and wasn't done with this blue, not in the slightest. She had more of it to take, more money to bring in. Was she going to share? Maybe, somewhat. Guzma was their captain, maybe he could get a share, and Derek had been with her. Her money was going to her new body guard anyway, so it was what it was to be honest. She sighed, a happy sigh as the wind moved through her hair. She had nothing but happiness in this moment. She had been scared but this...This was the way to go. In the distance she saw the island and was ecstatic. "Land! More land and more gifts!" She shouted, rushing to the side of the ship to almost slip into the water. She caught her balance, smiled and rocked back and forth. This was the time of money and prosperity. Nothing was going to get in her way.
-------- They docked and she landed, a smile spread wildly across her face. The island was a nice place to continue her nice little raiding session. The island was called swallow island, and while one could think of a different reason to call the island that, she assumed it was due to the giant landmass that shaped into a giant bird. She had to stare at it for a moment, make sure she could see it. "Guess it could be a bird..." She said, a shrug as she walked around the shore for a bit. She needed to find something quick and easy to get her going you know? She wanted some more money! It made her heart race! She needed to make, and create, buy and sell! She wondered what she would be gifted with today? How would she make more money and get on with her life. This island was in the shape of a bird, well not the island, just the giant statue or whatever. Maybe she could break the rocks and simply sell them or something? Nah, that sounded like extra work. She made her way through the island, walking until she heard the sound of people talking. She hid, making sure that she wouldn't be found by those around her. She was to get the drop on them. She knew what she wanted, and she hoped that these people would have it. She looked, peeking out from a tree to see the people she would be praying on. Two, male, probable residents of the island. They were chatting about something, something she leaned in on to hear. She smiled, hearing about talk of money they had just gained from a hard days work of fishing. She laughed. Hard's day of work right? She felt fearless knowing she had someone to protect her, as well as her own ability. She could just rush in, as long as they weren't marines. "AHhhh!!" She shouted, running forward at the two men. They looked to her confused, unsure of what she was doing. Was she running from something? At them? "Help me! HELP!" She shouted, still running in the mens direction. Ah, now they understood. They ran towards her, unsure of what she wanted. She fell forward, damsel in distress into the hands of one of the men. They looked to her, then to each other. "What's wrong miss?" They asked her, while she held a hand over her face. "I've come down with a case of...Case of.." She started, the men leaning in. "Case of being poor" She stated, turning her body to kick the mans knee and take him down. The other man backed up confused but Michelle turned over the downed mans back and kicked into the face of the other, watching him go down. She began to count her spoils, taking their money and heading back to the ship. "Leftovers if you guys want..." She said with a smile. They didn't have enough money anyway. She needed more...Lots more.

♫♪~ Every second is a pure affliction,
But I can feel your pain.
Choke back the burn of wrath as they violate your name.
No sign of innocence in this godforsaken place.
When the truth is in your hands, they'll spit upon your face. ~

Tawara was the man behind literally all the trouble in North Blue!

It was a statement that could fully be justified by his appearance, power, ability, and aggressive personality. There wasn't any of his money missing. Especially not in a place like Swallow Island. Where Tawara was planning to raid next. Tawara showed up to the scene with a bunch of islanders. All huddled up together. Tawaraa wished they looked tougher. So he could get more of a fight. Oh well. When Tawara first showed up. He began to box , fist fight, with a few of the islanders. With a few of his punches. His moves were very much related to a boxer. Literally knocking some of the islanders teeth out. Quickly reaching in their pockets to take their money. The raid begun. It was aimless to try and reason with Tawara right now. He was literally dogging these islanders in Swallow Island. With punches to their jaws. Following up with a boxers stance with his fists raised up. Tawara was skilled, and resourceful. There were screams and cries out. Beli was being taken one by one from the islanders. All beli going directly into Tawara's pockets. There were a few gunshots fired at Tawara. Which made the 6'6" tall man rush for cover behind a big rock. Tawara picked up the big boulder literally throwing it at the ones who were all firing guns at him. A woman's cry, of course it was a woman who was shooting at him! Tawara than used a hostage to get the others to stop firing guns. Geez. His hostage, his conduit out of Swallow island! Oh, jesus, Tawara could not focus his raid. His bag type was getting filled with beli. The hostage holding his bag. While the islanders were throwing their hard earned money in his bag. One islander tried to make a loud speech. Telling the other islanders to not fear Tawara. To not listen and do not give Tawara their money. "You islanders!! Everyone's been well behaved. Do not piss off a gorilla sized man like me! I'm the one that's brutally force you all to hand over all this islands beli. Finally you all have been cooperating. Don't imagine a hero showing up at the last minute. I've got a hostage!" The woman, his hostage. What the hell was her name? She was pressed against his huge chest with muscles. Tears streaming down her face, her lips parted. Tawara rushed the other islanders to give up their beli. Grabbing her harder, and dragging her away from them. Tawara pushed the hostage through many homes, houses, buildings, ect. Throughout Swallow Island. Opening doors, stealing beli inside buildings. Tawara could see blurred figures in open spaces, by railings, inside rooms. They began running disappearing; he heard doors slam, people shout. This was a full blown raid, after all. Tawara took the hostage arm with his left hand, the grip caused shooting pains in her shoulder. Tawara propelled her to a staircase, and forced her to descend with him. Using her as a shield against guns just in case. His right hand holding all the beli he robbed Swallow Island with. Tawara reached another building with Tawara yelling. They reached a lobby and heavy door. "Open it! Isn't your skirt a bit too short! Not like that's the reason why you're my target. I just grabbed whoever was closest. If one of your loser natives tries to shoot at me. You're the first one getting riddled with bullets." The two passed the row of stashes where money was. Taking whomever had money on them. Straight out of their pockets. Tawara released his hostage briefly. Opening another door to a different building. Peering out into the streets to listen for other islander natives of Swallow Island. There were none. "Heh. Got to be careful. Hey, girl. You know how to bake some cookies? This other hostage the other day sewed a scarf for me." Tawara joked. Tawara pulled his hostage out to the stone steps and down the pavement of the street. Tawara had a strange feeling of relief. The two weren't being followed anymore. So he decided to release his hostage. And rush back to his means of escape. "Found a lot of money! Woo-hoo!~ I know you'll be a good girl! See ya'. You didn't even try to seduce me! Thanks!!" Unreasonably calm! Tawara had left the island. He was still focused. He did very good at not leaving any tracks when he left Swallow Island on his boat.

[ The journey was long, yet still Shinra finds himself landing on the docks of the Swallow Island. From what information he could gather, there weren’t a particularly bunch of pirates that participated in the raid of this island, but they were dangerous non-the-less. With a sigh, the rookie Marines places a hand on his hip while the other remains slid over his abdomen, beneath the half worn yukata. He cross designed eyes peer back and forth as he notices the mood of the island. The panic flushed over the people. What a shame. “Yep. They’re shaken.” he remarks, commenting on their obvious state of the natives mind. From their expressions and the way they’re moving about, it’s as if they are fearful. Terrified of being assaulted again. With a stable basis to work with, Shinra lowers his hipped arm and proceeds to walk into the town. From house to house, he asks any and everyone he can for information on the perpetrator. Though, any information would help.

From what was stolen, to how they were treated. But to help give them peace of mind, at each greeting, he’d apathetically hold up his marine badge, as if he doesn’t like having to use it, but realizes in this case he’d have little choice but to. A peace of mind thing for the people if you would. “Name’s Shinra Gala. Marine. I’m here to help Reimburse this island of the things taken by the Pirates. That said, if you have any information on the suspects, please tell me everything. We’ll get them off the seas.” Through discussing and gathering intel, he’s left with enough information to move forward for now. So at this point comes the payment. House by house, person by person, Shinra goes about providing relief and aid to those affected, and helps them get back what they had taken from them. It wasn’t as many people as he suspected, considering a raid. But this just means one thing.

Either the suspects are working very light in order to not draw attention to themselves, which means they’re likely newbies; weaklings that couldn’t handle Marine retaliation. Or, they may have so few numbers that they can only manage so much before having to leave. Best case scenario, it’s a single rookie trying to rise up and make a name for themselves. In that case, they may not have a crew presently, so this would be the best time to take them out. “...Yeah, that’s got to be it. Every witness account describes a single individual. He takes in light amounts, and then runs off, carefully hiding his trail. That’ll make following him a problem, but…” In the middle of his thoughts, Shinra decides he’d think about it later, and turns back to speak with the village head. During the way he once more accounts for all afflicted victims, ensuring their satisfaction, before finally making it to the mayor’s home.

“Things should be fine for now. The Pirate definitely fled from here, but we’re on his trail. Don’t go doing anything reckless. Live peacefully.” he says as he walks out the door, holding up a hand announcing his departure. However, instead of leaving, he instead decides to search around the island a bit more for clues, but alas, there weren’t any of relevant note. With a huff, he takes a seat atop a tree stump near the edge of the island. He lazily leans forward a bit while pulling out his communicator, calling back to the Headquarters. “Chief Petty Officer, Shinra Gala. Reporting back to HQ. Swallow Island should be safe for now. They’re taken care of. However, the Pirate definitely got away. I have some information on his appearance, so make sure you get the information to everyone else.” After deactivating his communicator, he lets out a sigh and rests his arms over his knees.

He stares at the flowing waters of the ocean carelessly, showing no particular interest. But deep down, he’s interested in the type of person that could take from those that already have to little. “...Damn. Now I’m in a bad mood.” He waits there in the spot for a time more before receiving his next objective location from the base. He’d need to head to a Hoaknoton Town now. Shinra rubs the back of his head a bit before standing up and heading for the docks where his marine vessel waits for him. After hopping in, he looks back onto Swallow Island one last time, seeing a few of the natives waving him off cheerfully. He exhales softly through his nostrils before holding up a hand to respond to their goodbyes. “Yeah. Guess I gotta take care of that Pirate. Otherwise, I’ll have a bad taste in my mouth.” ]

A lone boat floated up to the island shaped suspiciously like a bird, blue eyes with eliptical pupils scanned the large avian shaped rock with a curious look, "This must be...swallow island." he murmured as he would slowly make the boat move towards the shore. As the boat touched the sand bar he would jump out his feet plunging into the chill lapping waters and easily consuming his exposed feet, the outfit he had stolen was perfect for him, though parts of it needed to be tailored to him properly, but other than that the clothing was almost made for him. Leather slacks coated his legs where thick chains of silver wrapped around his waist making minor clinking sounds as he waded through the water. An ocean blue button up adorned his torso and spread out to cover his long arms, small belts wrapped neatly around his hands to offer support, but kept his claws from being hindered were he to need them. The last part, his favorite was a long tail coat that hitched across his chest with an intricate design of strips of cloth to hold the front together, but long teathers of leather strapped the collar bone area into a thick collar and mask piece that covered the lower half of his face. It was easily pulled up or down to reveal his mouth, but for now he could leave his face exposed, the people here would not know of him so he had no worries. Long belts strung down from the upper back of the long split tail coat that clanked together every now and then as he finally exited the water, he would then pull on his boots that were a simplistic leather he still owned and didn't want to get them completely soaked through. His boots sunk into the sand as he would traverse the sandy bank that outstretched from the forest, the cold light of morning was slowly approaching as he would glance towards the dreary sky that slowly started to change from its deep black to a deep blue. Blue eyes glanced about the tree line that met the bank and beach, no signs of movement showed that anyone knew a newcomer had appeared upon the island, though he'd easily stand out with his shock of white hair and the single blue horn that protruded from his head. Eyes narrowed as he reached up and stroked the thick ridges of his single horn, "Food first....raid after..." he mumbled to himself as he would step into the treeline and disappear among the thick brush, leaving behind the sandy beach and his boat for the time being.

The climb up to the village that sat so far atop the large rock shape monument of the 'swallow' that so named the island was not his particularly favorite part of his travel, the wish to have wings easily crawled over his mind, but he'd extinguish such thoughts with a vicious reminder that he could do this easily. His long thin tail with a spear like end whipped through the area as he would use it as his safety tether, smashing it into the rock and piercing it with ease. He kept his tail embedded until he passed it and would tug it out and put it into the next level of the wall ti'll he reached the top, his sort feet and claws would have grit collected under his fingers as he would manage to arrive atop the large rock and stare into...more forest. He grit his teeth in anger before he'd raise his nose to sniff the air and seek out the scent of anything living, he caught the scent of baked bread and immediately his mouth would begin to water uncontrollably. His stomach twisted in his center like a knot and caused him a deep pain that would have him clutching his gut with an anguished look on his face. Cyril took a deep breath and followed the scent of the freshly baked food he could scent. His feet carried him into the village after a few moments and he would find the town in it's mid afternoon bustle with people milling about and moving with purpose, the sounds of happy chatter filled his ears as he would move through the streets with purpose. Cyril's inent was clear as he shoved past people and made it to the stall selling warm buns, within moments he was in front and holding out a few notes of beli, the man looked shocked and fearful. The quickness with how the man grabbed the money and pushed a couple of meat buns into the his waiting hands proved to Cyril very quickly that he was a frightening presence with his lone appearance. Within a few moments though he was stuffing his face with the bun and satisfying his hunger, chomping happily as he would move off to the side to let others pass, though his serenity only lasted for a moment as some burly men he pushed past earlier approached, "Oui! Bean pole!" they were talking to him he was sure, but he ignored his as he pulled another bun out of the paper sack. Filling his belly was a short lived quest as his food was knocked out of his hands and onto the rocky ground. The eliptical pupils seemed to multiply into a cross shape as he turned on the men who were still screeching at him, "Run." he stated clearly with a threatening edge to his voice.

The men laughed boisterously, but those who surrounded them and weren't directly involved quickly evacuated from around them as the killing intent flowing from the dragon minkman became almost palpable. The two burly men didn't seem to sense it, "What was that be-" before the man could finish his sentence Cyril stepped forward and punched him in the mouth which immediately sent the man flying away into a near by building crashing into it and breaking it with his weight and the force which Cy had hit him. The other man looked shocked as he started to turn his head to see what happened to his pal, but Cy wasn't done as he continued his forward momentum and brought the leg that had been his anchor point to the floor up as his other foot landed and twisted his entire body, his tail slashed across the other man's chest and his heel collided with the others neck. The sound of a crack immediately echoed as the man was sent a little ways away from his friend, the people around looked utterly flabber ghasted at the sight of the shorter man taking out two grown burly men twice his size. It was clear the dragon minkman was not finished as he stepped towards where the men had smacked against two different walls. Screams erupted around them as people quickly cleared his way as he moved forward towards the single unconscious man and the other who seemed to be shaking in utter terror, "W-wait calm down man!" he cried out scuttling back against the minor hole he created, "You wasted my food." he stated as he walked forward and placed a single booted foot upon the man's chest and began to press. The human squirmed under foot crying out in agony, "Please!" he screeched as tears rolled down his grizzled and stubbly face. Suddenly something broke over his head, blood trickled down his forehead as he turned to stare at a woman who had hit him with an empty glass bottle, "L-leave!" she squeaked in a terror stricken voice. Cyril's eyes focused on her as he removed the pressure from the other man's chest and faced her fully, "Excuse me?" he questioned his tail whipping behind him as the extremity would wrap around the male's ankle and drag him forward, "I....I...." she started to tear up and choke on her words, "I don't care what gender you are." he'd state raising his fast and slamming it into the woman's face sending her flying back into a crowd who all looked upon him with clear fear, "Money. Now." he stated as his tail hoisted the large man upside down next to him. He shook him violently as notes of beli and coins of berri fell to the ground, the people were quick to empty their pockets and shove it into a bag for him. They dropped it before him as he would easily take it and swing the man around and slam him into the building from earlier, taking out the wall that had been weakened from it's earlier blow, "Old man." he beckoned towards the vendor of meat buns and he would step forward shakily. Cyril held out his hand for the elderly man's, he would gulp and offer his hand looking away as if preparing for a blow. Cyril dropped more beli into his palm, "I'd like some more." he stated simply, the man looked confused but quickly ran back to his cart while Cyril turned around to watch the building he had slammed the man into collapse on top of him, "They are both still alive, against my better judgement. I don't think I should kill anyone over a few scraps of food when it's abundant here." he muttered. The villagers stood stunned, the few that had caught the woman he socked were tending to her bleeding mouth while she continued to cry and whimper pathetically.

Cyril would look back to the elderly man when he held out the bag of buns and he would take it before turning to depart, 'Couldn't get a tailor here unfortunately.' he thought mildly deciding to leave before any marines were called to come. He didn't have the energy to take care of some do-gooders who couldn't help anyone with there lack of vigilance, he sighed as he would open the bag and easily pull out one of the buns and chomped into it without remorse, juice coated the corner of his mouth and he would lick his lips in thought, "I wonder what roasted human taste like..." he thought mildly as he would head towards the edge of the large rock structure.

Hatori a swordsman read out loud the foregoing outline of this area. His eyes racing around picking up all the traits of this islands residents, ect. Hatori did not believe that he could afford to try to deceive anyone about anything. But he knew that he could not afford to try to deceive himself. To do so would destroy the power of his effectiveness in the marines. Hatori was going around collecting taxes in this island. The locals sucking their teeth while Hatori stepped their way getting their taxes. He was thinking. Too often the mistake is made, in the selection of a life work. Of engaging in the work that seems to be the most profitable from a monetary viewpoint. Without consideration of the native ability. Hatori collected more taxes from some woman who were huddled together. Hatori was a swordsman. He followed the bushido code. Which meant his only purpose in life was to slay his foe, or be slayed by some other stronger foe. It wasn't more basic than that. Becoming a marine helped him find interesting opponents. Hatori was just in it for the fighting. More collecting of taxes, Hatori was strolling down a street. When becoming a marine at first. Hatori believed he wanted this job more than ever wanting anything in life. His imagination gained for him the opportunity that he wanted, and before his first month had expired. A life insurance had dropped into his own lap. Offering private secretary ship at a substance salary. Hatori smiled while collecting some more taxes from others locals in the nearby area. "There are a few cases in connecting with which I have personally observed how men have climbed to high places in the world. Accumulating wealth in abundance by making practical use of their imagination." Hatori was on a marine mission. Technically he was making beli right now collecting taxes from citizens of Swallow Island. "If your imagination is the mirror of your soul, then you have a perfect right to stand before that mirror and see yourself. As you wish to be. You have the right to see reflected in that magic mirror the mansion you intend to own. The factory you intend to manage. The bank of which you intent to be president. The station in life you intent to occupy. Your imaginations belongs you! The more you use it, the more efficiently it will serve you." At the east side of the island. Hatori was leaving. However, there was applause, screaming, celebrating in all of his wakes! He may have collected taxes from unwanted clients. But the swordsmans words reached their hearts. Providing them with stronger dreams, goals, plans for the future. In one of the parts of Swallow island. One of the cities on the coast, all of the land that was suitable for building lots have been developed and put into use. On one side of the city, there were some steep hills that could not be used for building purposes, and on the other side. The land was unsuitable for buildings, because it was so low that the back water covered it once a day. Hatori whistled. Hatori left finished with his mission.

Asura’s lone man boat would land at North Blue’s location, Swallow Island. He could tell by the look of his map. It had a swallow-like shape to it on its mountain. “This is area 1. My plan must come into full fruition if I am ever to be regarded as the strongest leader of Skypiea.” He would pull his boat to the docks of the island, disembarking his ship.

Asura’s attire was quite noticeable. He wears a flowing bottom robe, with a lot of golden jewelry. He dressed as if he were already the king of Skypiea. He felt that now, he needed to exert his dominance over the humans, one area at a time.

Walking along the port, he was greeted by some marines, of the human variety. “You boy… what’s your name? We haven’t seen you around these parts. State your business.”, one of the marines would say to Asura.

Asura would look to the marines, eyeing their uniforms. “I am no boy. I am Asura, future king of Skypiea. I have come to punish you all for what evil deeds you have committed against my island. I suggest you move out of my way, or I will have to make you.”, Asura would say to the two marines in a menacing tone. The Marines’ brow would shift to an angry look, and they would both block the way. They would draw a blade, and one of them would take out a Den Den Mushi.

“Captain, we have a pirate. Engaging the enemy as we speak.”, the marine would say. It would be apparent to Asura that now, he was going to be able to have some fun.

“Seems you have made your choices. Pity.”, Asura would say as his legs would turn into blades, golden rings lining the front of his legs. He would dash forward, twisting his body and rolling. This would send his bladed legs outward to dissect both marines. The top halves of their bodies would slide from their other halves.

“Did you ascertain the pirate squadron C…? Squadron C please respond. [random electrical feedback] We need back up coming from the port of Swallow Island. Proceed with caution. This target must be armed and dangerous.” Asura would crack a smile, knowing that he would finally begin to garner the notoriety as the king of Skypiea that he deserved. More and more marines continued to come until there was more than Asura could count on the docks. Asura would crack an evil looking smile.

“You all really stimulating me. Let me show you why you shouldn’t have come here.” Asura really likes to partake in the killing of humans, as it gives him joy to take revenge for Skypiea. Asura would begin his onslaught. Dismembering arms, legs, bodies… they all fell the same. His last victim dropped their sword at the sight of Asura’s wrath. He attempted to run, though, Asura would quickly catch up to him and impale him in the chest with one of his bladed legs. He would lift him into the air, and say, “Know now, that a new king has descended onto the Blues. No human is safe from this genocide. I will go to each island, one by one, and lay waste to your wretched race.” Asura would look the quivering man and shake his head. “Allow me to end your suffering.” Asura would them cleanly cut his body in half, leaving behind a mess of about 20 Marine bodies.

It seems I’ve left enough of a mark here. Asura would go through the pockets of what was left of the marines and take the beli that they had on them. Let me continue onto the next place. Asura would stand among a bunch of dismembered bodies, and transform his legs back into regular legs. His body would be blood stained from the Marines.

      -Theme: One Way-

      This island was strange.

Not because of the scarcity of people on the island itself, but rather the shape.

True to its name, the piece of land was shaped like an actual swallow. This amused Adam as he trekked the coastline. He had decided to travel the world after leaving Skypiea and as he planned his exploits, the island caught his attention. So he marked it as his very first destination and prepared for his journey out into the world. His trip overseas was quite expedient given his means of transportation. Rather than use the boat that was prepared for him by the villagers, he instead chose another more reliable option.

      Flight.

Albeit being the only human born on Skypiea, Adam had consumed a Devil Fruit as a child that granted him the ability to transform into a great creature that ruled both the sky and lightning. The Thunderbird, as his books would tell him, was a creature of magnificence and majesty. Its appearance was both terrifying, yet alluring. Quite accurate to describe one such as himself, it suited Adam perfectly. He came to develop an understanding of his skills one by one throughout the remainder of his childhood and sought to explore his powers further. A notable perk that Adam was given was that he could partially alter his body to reflect chosen aspects for the mythical creature. It was at that time, young Adam learned that he could fly. The human child would soon show incredible control over his transformations by the age of 19 as well as the other abilities that accompanied the fruit. With knowledge and skills in hand, he set off for his destination.

The island was lush and filled with various species of fauna and flora. As Adam enjoyed the sights, he would identify and catalog the plants and animals, while also searching for any towns or villages to no avail. "This is such a beautiful island. Shame there is no one else here to enjoy it...Oh I know!" Adam exclaimed, fist slamming into his other hand, an idea coming to mind as his face lit up. "I can make this my own personal island. After all finders keepers. Isn't that right Archibald?" The young man turned towards a barn owl perched on a nearby tree. The owl hooted in agreeance and blinked several times before flying down to rest on his outstretched arm. Adam rested his free hand on his hip and whispered several orders to Archibald.

"Well then, let's get started shall we?"

For the next couple of months, Adam would inhabit the island and construct a small village as his own personal vacation spot when not traveling. Additionally, he would continue to plot his future exploits, create lists of materials and items to get for the island and practice his abilities in his free time. One day, Adam discovered that a group of people arrived on the island. He watched from a distance to see what they were up to. There were 5 men, rough in appearance and not at all the type to provide a warm welcome. They were dressed poorly and carried flintlocks and swords, both sheathed at the hip, but a clear indicator that they may be up to no good. From their boat, they removed several items and spread them out across the sandy beach. Upon closer inspection, it seems that the men had tools far better than what Adam had to work with and saw that these men were quite skilled at construction.

As he continued to examine their progress, an idea came to mind. If he were able to convince these men to work for him, maybe they could build a better village and further improve this island. With that in mind, he approached the men one day during they work, introducing himself. It took a while to gain their trust and persuade them to join his cause. Of course, it was to be expected, who would trust a stranger that appeared out of thin air. But after discovering that they had once been pirates and wanted to turn over a new leaf, Adam made an offer that was beneficial on both sides. In exchange for their help, Adam would provide them with better lifestyles and soon, they came to willingly serve as Adam's first and faithful servants. Another few months passed and Swallow Island was truly a paradise with no equal as far as Adam had known.

Both parties made good on their agreement and the five men who had once been nothing more than filthy rogues, transformed into respectable men, who could sway the hearts of many with their looks alone. For the duration of the time they all spent working, Adam gained valuable experience in the trade of construction. After many laborious hours, the group stepped back and saw what they had done. It was superb, the architectural design and sheer beauty of every structure was simply outstanding. Adam deemed it good and therefore rested on that day. Things were calm for a time, Adam and his men enjoyed life on the island. They would sometimes travel to neighboring lands to make money and purchase supplies and the like, but this did not last for long.

Like many unfortunate stories, it happened on a day like no other. The sounds of cannon fire, shouting and metal clanging woke Adam. He rushed outside towards the coastline to see a battle raging on both land and sea. Pirates and Marines. Two opposing forces engaged in deadly combat on his island! Upon witnessing this, Adam grew infuriated. The gall! How dare they tread upon his sacred grounds! The land that he and his men worked so hard to build upon. Here these men were, battling on the beach as if it were simply a war zone. His men rushed to his side, arms drawn, but Adam held them back.

"Go back to the village, I'll handle it here. They shall regret trespassing on this land." Adam's face was now devoid of any emotion, not even a hint of rage.

The men protested, but in the end, gave in to their master's command and retreated back into the forest. Adam loosened the collar of his shirt and proceeded to walk forth, arms behind his back. Azure orbs scanned the entirety of the battlefield and stopped at the large vessels positioned in the back. The sky grew dark, clouds began to swirl into view, covering the sun and thunder rumbled in the distance. Winds picked up, blowing sand in all directions as the battle came to a halt. Their attention focused at the sudden change of weather and now at the singular cause of it all. Adam rested his right hand across his chest and bowed deeply, greeting his unwelcome guests.

"I'm so glad to have gotten your attention. Greetings. Pirates. Marines," He gestured to both factions as the sound of cannon fire came to a halt as well. A smile spread across his face as he walked closer, members of both factions now turning their weapons towards him. "Ara~ Well, that's quite rude of you. Considering you just barge into someone's home unannounced and began this petty squabble." His hand went up pushing aside the blades of the two faction leaders at the forefront of the battle and stared the directly in the eyes, "Wouldn't you think so, hm?" The pirate captain spit at Adam's feet and gave him a crooked smile, "Gehehehehe, Shut yer mout boy 'efore I shut it fer ye, hm?" He retorted in a mocking tone. The Marine commander stepped in between the two and looked back to Adam, "Step back, citizen! This is a battle zone, what do you think you're doing!?"

Adam shifted his foot back as the spit landed in the sand. He looked down and back up at the pirate who now had a smug toothy grin painted onto his face. That was the first strike. As the Marine interjected and forcibly pushed Adam back, he became irritated. Second Stike. The tone taken towards him was all the push Adam needed. Final strike. Thunder boomed, no longer sounding distance, but close. Very close. Adam began to laugh and grinned as he stared at everyone before him. "I see...So this is the path you choose...Very well. Take this chance to pray to your gods. You'll find no mercy from me." He raised his hand as thunder came crashing down into his open palm and engulfing his entire forearm.

This spectacle alarmed all who stood on the beach and many proceeded to turn tail, trying to escape whatever unfortunate demise awaited them, but it was too late. For their fate was already sealed by the foolish actions of their leaders. Adam's arm swung in a wide arc as the thunder left his fingertips. It slammed into the two standing before him, chaining into the rest until all within his sight were affected. They dropped one by one onto the sand like flies. The only ones left standing were the Marine Commander and Pirate Captain. Barely. Their resilience was interesting.

"G-Gehe, 's that all ya got boy..." The pirate remarked as he coughed. He was shaking all over, but still standing.

"I-I'm going to call this in. Y-You'll regret this!!" exclaimed the commander. he was using his sword to keep himself from falling over. Despite his threat, he was unable to reach for his coat.

Adam applauded their achievement and once again bowed in respect, "Outstanding! You've managed to resist one of my most simple attacks."His eyes widened and the smile disappeared from his face, "Looks like I'll have to try a little harder..." His arms spread out as he watched the two attempt to run and scramble into the ocean. Once again he raised his right hand, but instead, pointed two fingers into the air.

"Strike true and swift. O thunderous blade. Heed my call. Deliver destruction unto mine enemies and end thine life.「Sword Fall」."

His hand descended, finger pointing in a straight line at the two and their ships. A large bolt of thunder crashed into the ground before Adam and followed after the two men. It wasn't long until they were caught in the attack and even the two ships sunk due to the sudden gap in water as it sucked both vessels inward, capsizing them. Adam turned and walked along the coastline to take care of any stragglers remaining. However, he was greeted with another surprise.

      Bodies.

There were about 20 of them littered across the beach. Most either stabbed or limbs severed from their owners.

Numerous bodies of Marines lay eviscerated, blood staining the sand. It was clear signs of a massacre Adam whistled and turned his attention to a man standing amidst the scene. He was bloody all over and stood by what appeared to be a port. Notably, the wings on his back and clothing style told Adam all he needed to know. This man was a Birkan. Adam tilted his head as he pondered, He must have killed them all. Interesting. He had no blades or weapon capable of slashing but somehow managed to produce such an effect. Was this an ability? He would have to find out.

"Huh? There was a port here all along. Who knew...Not that I really needed it anyways. But good to know for next time. Now about these bodies." Adam spoke, no longer interested in the man standing before but more concerned about how he should dispose of the remaining bodies. After a couple minutes, he snapped his fingers and lighting bolts descended from the sky zapping the corpses to dust and watched as the wind carried the remains off of the beach.

"Perfect!" Adam clapped his hands together in glee and nodded, satisfied with the result. A familiar hoot caught Adam's attention as Archibald came and perched on a nearby tree. He looked at Adam and tilted his head, hooting a hearty greeting towards his friend. "Ah! Archibald! My dear friend, it's been a while. How are you?" He hooted in response and Adam nodded, "I see...I see. Well, that's wonderful." Archibald hopped off of his shoulders and flew away. "Bye Archiiiieeee!" Adam waved goodbye as he departed.

Adam's attention turned back towards the man making his way back to the dock, "Next time, when you kill people on someone elses island. At least clean up the mess. It's a hassle having to tidy up after others. I thought it was common practice, but I guess not."

Asura

Asura, clad in blood covered clothing, would look to himself. “I really need a bath. I need to stop getting my good king clothes dirty.”, Asura would say acknowledging his dirty self. As Asura would be walking back to the docks, he would hear a large thunderbolt sound. He would flinch and turn around to see what in the world happened. Then, all the bodies that he left on the island would be turned to dust.

“How…”, Asura’s eyes would dart about the area, looking through the dust to find out who or what happened. Then, he would see a man, dressed in all white. He didn’t possess any wings, and he was talking to Asura.

"Next time, when you kill people on someone else’s island. At least clean up the mess. It's a hassle having to tidy up after others. I thought it was common practice, but I guess not." Asura would grow irritated having to respond to this. “I am Asura, the king of Skypiea. I have no need to clean up this filth as they are responsible for the countless murder of my kind.” Asura’s chin would move up, and his face in a questionable position for he would wonder if this person was actually a reinforcement of the Marines.

Asura would then ask himself the question, “Why would someone destroy their own kind if they were a reinforcement?” Quickly returning back to reality, he would examine the man before him. He wasn’t in Marine uniform, and he seemed to have abilities outside that of a normal human.

“What is your name, and what business do you have here on this island?”, Asura would ask as he would remain on the docks, facing the mysterious man. He wouldn’t know what he was doing on the island, or why he just wanted the port to be clean. Asura would ruffle his feathers and dust himself off to get the dust of human remains off of himself.

“I am Asura, the king of Skypiea. I have no need to clean up this filth as they are responsible for the countless murder of my kind.”

A king? Of Skypiea? This man must be joking. Yet his face and attitude hinted otherwise. Adam chuckled at the thought, "Kufufufufu...You? A king? Well then, I must say you haven't been doing quite a swell job at that. After all, they never once mentioned a king while I was around." His hand gestured towards the rough man as he briskly walked over to a post on the dock and took a seat. He looked him over once more, confirming his assumptions.

"Hm...Birkan, I presume? Quite easy to distinguish your tribe. The Elders always had a knack for being explicit in individuality. I always found it fascinating." Adam said hunched over, his legs crossed and head resting in the palm of his hand. He watched as the man turned around to face him and ruffle his feathers. Adam sighed and blinked as a question was presented to him. "Ara~ Bold of you to assume that you're in any position to ask questions on MY island." His arms spread out to assert his point and a finger came to point in the stranger's direction.

"BUT. Since I am no longer in a mood. I suppose I shall allow you this," He relented, hopping down from his perch, "I am Adam Ambrosius Wyllt. Scion of the White Dwarf Star. Vessel of the Divine Bird. The list goes on, however most notably, my favorite title is Harbinger of Retribution. That one I came up with myself!" His arms retreated behind his back as he paced back and forth in front of the stranger, "Now that I have said my piece. Who are you and why are you on MY island causing mayhem?" Adam came to a sudden halt and stared intensely at the man, "First, those Marines and Pirates come causing a ruckus on the coast. And now here you are. In all honesty, I would prefer you speak quickly before I result to more...forceful means. So, if you would be so kind as to tell me your tale. I would appreciate it."

XXXA bolt of blinding light would turn the horizon white as Safir steered her ship over mighty heaves and massive caps of white. Turning the wheel of her ship, the prow would cut through the high waves like a scream amid silence. "...How alluring." She whispered as smoke began to rise in a spiraling column towards the silvery firmament above. As the ship, with the words "The Finch" emblazoned with golden letters on the stern, came into view of the island Safir could clearly see the source of the smoke. There was a corpse on the docks that had been charred by the lightning and two men standing nearby, no doubt either curious onlookers or concerned bystanders. Or...perhaps one of them was the cause of the strange bolt of energy that had parted the sky like a crack on a pane of glass? There were stranger things in the world other than people who could command the elements. She made a mental note to present herself calmly, politely but with authority. It would be best not to offend someone who could easily smote her, but at the same time not show signs of weakness.

The figure-head of her ornate ship crested one last swell as "the Finch" pulled into port. A heavy anchor dropped from the aft of the redwood ship as a young woman moored the boat to the dock. A heavy rope was tied around the post that rose from the briny water. The cerulean and pink haired beauty with eyes the color of wine walked up the soaked boards, stepping over the dusty remains of some poor unfortunate soul. "Safir, lady and ruler of Hoaknoton, captain of the Finch, requesting permission to come ashore." The woman's voice was clear and lilting, with a portentous undertone as she addressed the two men standing in front of her with a polite curtsy. Slowly she rose, the tip of the spear on her back being lowered back towards the ground as those long, slender legs straightened. Burgundy hues passed over Asura first, then Percival. Each of them carried themselves like men of authority or higher standing. Clearly they were of import, and likely one of them held some authority here. But who? The spritely girl would have to wait for them to introduce themselves before she could make any judgments. Perhaps here should could find her higher calling.

Asura

"Kufufufufu...You? A king? Well then, I must say you haven't been doing quite a swell job at that. After all, they never once mentioned a king while I was around.", this mysterious man would say to Asura. Upon those spiteful words hitting Asura’s ears, his swollen pride would slowly begin grow. He wasn’t a king for sure, but he believed he was worthy of king, and would do anything to protect his people.

“A king does what he must to protect his people, even if that means exerting dominance to the fools who thought they could tread within the skies leaving a trail of blood. Just because you haven’t heard of the kings’ presence, doesn’t mean one isn’t around. I allow my crown to shine, only when needed.”, Asura would exclaim with a dose of boisterous energy within his voice.
"Hm...Birkan, I presume? Quite easy to distinguish your tribe. The Elders always had a knack for being explicit in individuality. I always found it fascinating.", the dark-skinned man would say. Asura would fold his lip, showing surprise at the man’s aptitude to tell that he was not only a sky folk, but a Birkan at that. His interest would be peaked at this man’s knowledge. Though, he would be rather floored at the fact that the man was claiming ownership of the island.

“I first shall say that you have extensive knowledge of my kind. I am rather surprised at your knowledge and I applaud that. Though, I don’t see any planted flags or anything saying this is your island. Seems you are any less than an owner that I am king of Skypiea.”, Asura would say. His last phrase would end in a laugh, that would soon turn into a grimace.

Asura would hear the words, ”I would prefer you speak quickly before I result to more...forceful means.”. His anger would swell within him like a ticking time bomb ,and make him ignore much of what he said. “I could care less about your titles, Wyllt. You’re disrespect to a future king has reaching a stopping point. Show me the strength of your resolve Wyllt, then maybe we can talk.”

Asura would walk off the dock, and onto land. He was done fighting amongst the salted waters and the wooden boards. It is time to show this one some respect for the sky kingdom and its people. Asura believed he, always, represented the sky and its inhabitants. His pride ran deeper than himself, and he bleeds Skypiea. He would complete his walk about 15 feet away from Adam, facing him with his arms slightly flexed to his sides with his fists clenched.
