Mitsu didn't think it mattered which of his Pokemon he used. They were both Water-types, and Spinarak didn't have any special defensive or offensive bonus against them. So, he decided to send out Hoshi for his first battle as a trainer. The Popplio was ecstatic and Mitsu smiled."Alright, Hoshi, use Water Gun on our little buddy!"Hoshi gave a happy little spin before firing his blast of water at the spider. It hardly stood a chance. They'd have to go to the Pokemon Center or a healer to have it treated, but first he had to catch it. Taking out a ball, Mitsu tossed it at the Spinarak and waited with bated breath. It took a couple of shakes, but the ball dinged and went still."I caught it! Yay~!"

The Pidgeot touched down in Iki Town and Noel and Algernon slid off it’s back and down to the ground. Noel’s eyes went wide at the sight of the festivities and decorations. There were eggs of similar sorts that they’d hunted in baskets scattered around the area, with banners decorated with similar imagery and lines of flowers strung about in many directions. It was bright and colorful and just all around amazing. There were tables filled with different varieties of treats for the festival, people catering to some trainers who were already there to enjoy it. Whether they’d already completed the egg hunt or not he couldn’t tell, but they seemed to be enjoying themselves none the less. Noel glanced back at the PIdgeot who gave a little nod in his direction to indicate this was the place they needed to be. He smiled a nod nodded himself, scooping up Algernon and waving the bird farewell. It navigated over to some stalls where other flyer types resided along with what looked to be their handlers.
Turning his attention to the festival before him, Noel jumped a bit as Lua Girl approached him, a smile on her face. ”Hello and welcome to the Festival of Eggs! Is this your first time visiting here?” She inquired, clapping her hands together and leaning down a bit to greet him. Noel blinked and settled a little, Algernon still firmly in his arms. "Oh uhm… yes, it is. To the festival that is." He remarked. The woman gave a nod, ”of course! Have you been participating in our egg hunt?” This time Noel grinned, head nodding rapidly. "Uh huh! I think actually we got them all…,"
The woman gave a little gasp, covering her mouth with her hand. ”Oh did you? Well congratulations! That must’ve taken a bit of time.” Without hesitation she ushered Noel to follow her over to a table nearby. ”Well then let’s go ahead and confirm that for you okay? Did you send them in or do you still have them with you?”"I uh… turned them in already. Was that okay?" He wasn’t certain if he should’ve kept them or not, but it seemed alright to be sending them off as he had. The woman nodded, quickly heading over to a laptop that was hidden amongst the decorations. ”That’s alright! We like to have it set up to work out for trainers however they prefer. Not everyone is comfortable carrying around so many eggs after all.” She remarked, quickly tapping the keyboard, ”If you just hand me your pokedex, I can check for you!”
Noel nodded and fished out his pokedex, handing it to the woman who thanked him. It wasn’t long before she was scanning it and running his credentials through the system, smiling as she returned the device to him. ”It looks like you did indeed collect all our eggs! Which means you get to choose from all our prizes!” Noel’s eyes went wide. He knew he’d get prizes but well… hearing it now was rather a rush.
"Wow, thank you so much!" Noel chimed, face beaming. He was rather excited to see what options were available. The woman smiled and nodded, starting to lead the way towards the center of the festival to take more of a look at his options. ”Of course! We have all kinds of things here as well; treatments for your pokemon to help them learn faster, trinkets to help them be stronger and much more! And of course, just general goodies for the celebration, so please, enjoy!”

Noel took the time to enjoy the festivities, even letting all his pokemon out to have some fun as well. There was a lot to do and eat and see in this place and he felt they deserved what was truly a proper vacation before they focused back on their pokemon journey. He’d collected some of the prizes that he’d received from collecting all the eggs, stashing them away along with his belongings. He’d also decided on some treatments as his prizes as well; he’d earned enough to get for three pokemon to refresh them and help them get stronger faster! That was exciting.
It took a bit of talking and deciding but eventually it was Algernon, Mattimeo and Quixote (surprisingly) who wanted to go through with the treatment. Noel grinned as his pokemon were shuffled off to what looked like a little spa area to relax and enjoy themselves, leaving trainer and other pokemon to explore a little more. Noel figured once the treatment was done they could start heading off; though he was a bit curious about this Alola region and wanted to find out more while he was there.
