The academy building was finally on sight after a long walk. It was huge. Elysia gaped at the size. It couldn't be compared to her previous school. The fact that she would be attending such big and new building made her nervous. Surely there would be so many students in here, much more than she would be accustomed to. Deciding, she would embarrass herself if she stared the way she was, Elysia slowly walked inside while her eyes tried to take in her surrounding view. Let's see . . . I should go to the dorm first . . .Elysia thought of her destination. It would be her first time being in a dorm, away from anyone she knew, away from home. No,no, Elysia shook her head to clear any negative thought and continued on inside.

They made it outside without obstacle. Elysia had slowed down to a walk. All those running made her out of breath. Her pokemon, Shelah, also preferred slow walk, despite him having an easy time floating. Shelah isn't quick on his 'feet' by species or typing. "what kind of pokemon do you think we should search?' Elysia spoke out as she went down the stair. She had passed the place this morning and knew there was a forest nearby. It would be a good place to start looking. "bron zor," Shelah replied without understanding her. "hmm, maybe one that can complement your typing best," Elysia continued on. She didn't need Shelah's answer, only someone to direct her speech to and a listener. "oh! let's test this pokedex thing!" she exclaimed as she turned her pokegear on and aimed it to Shelah. "let's see~ how to activate it again. maybe this button here," Elysia fiddled for a while until she got the machine to scan the bronzor. "bronzor, bronze pokemon. They are found in ancient tombs. The patterns on their backs are said to be imbued with mysterious power," the pokedex informed. Elysia further fiddled for the pokedex to show more information on Shelah's typing and full list of type Shelah's weak to. Ground, Ghost, and dark, was the result. While for normal damage would be fighting, bug, water, and electric. "errm, a flying type will be good choice then?" she checked information on each type. There was so many information she couldn't possibly memorize it all. She knew she wanted one that can deal with ground, fighting and bug typing. One with good offensive strength is preferable to cover for Shelah's lack of strength. Plus having a flying type tend to be useful in many way. They could scout from the sky and carried message as messenger. A grass type would be her second choice, but they didn't appeal to her as much as a flying type would. She only have one pokeball and so it needed to be a pokemon she would be sure would add to her team.
Elysia turned of the pokedex. "well, we should see what kind of pokemon the forest have first," Elysia concluded. "If there isn't any, maybe we can get some practice instead." The two then walked off from the road and headed into cluster of trees that would lead them to the forest.
X⇒ LOCATION : Front Entrance Gate XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX⇒ WITH : No one but Hachiko Having been up and down each of the maze-like pathways that ran through the campus, Erik eventually made his way back to the school entrance where he'd stay put for the next thirty minutes or so before making another lap around the grounds. Without hesitation, the man in blue drew closer to the front gates, with nothing but the sound of his own footfalls in addition to the padding of his four-legged partner behind him; Hachi, a Growlithe that he was still trying to familiarise to the job. Like most mornings there didn't appear to be anyone around, and was yet another uneventful day. Other than responding to a call that there was a suspicious person lurking near the backside of the campus -- which evidently turned out to be nothing -- the day had so far turned out to be like all the others since he had began working for the academy. He didn't expect the job to be exciting on s daily basis, but it was days like this that made him miss working for the precinct in Castelia City. Work days there were never slow and never this dull.
Stepping briefly outside the gates, Eriked castes his gaze down both directions to see if any new individuals were approaching Ordell's campus grounds. No one. At least, none from what he could initially see. Not even any students. There wasn't even any of them lingering around the patches of grass within the gates, enjoying outdoor lunch or whatever. That was alright in Erik's books. That meant there were less students around to ask him where the washrooms were located again. Heading back towards the main building that first greeted Ordell's new arrivals, Hyun decided to get a little extra training in with Hatchi since there was virtually no one around and he still had at least twenty minutes or so before moving onto his next route. Besides, his main purpose was to be a deterrent to any would-be trouble makers and what that meant was that he just needed to be seen in order to deject any ill-fated ideas.
Looking down at the puppy pokemon that had followed him over to the main building that overlooked the front gates, Erik crouched down to give the pokemon a guileless pat on the head. "Do you remember what to do, boy?" He questioned the Growlithe who in turn let out an excited bark before sitting down and wagging his fluffy tail, indicating that he was ready and full of energy just begging to be spent. "Alright then." Erik continued, before bringing his hand to the red baton that was holstered at the side of his belt, carefully removing it and making sure Hachi's eyes were locked onto the object. Slowly, Hyun stood up, the baton still in hand, he soon gave Hachi his first command. "Bleib." (Stay.) The former officer instructed his k-9 partner in a foreign language as he began to walk slowly backwards alongside the building front. About mid way, he gently set his baton upon the ground and continued to back up until he was past the building but still had an excellent view of the entire front-gate premises. Again, there didn't appear to be anyone around. Returning his attention to his partner, Erik decided to continue his little training exercise. "Hier!" (Come here!) He called back to Hachi in the same authoritative tone and just as the command had left his lips, Hachi was back up on all fours and barreling straight towards him. However when the pokemon had reached his baton, the pokemon didn't hesitate to retrieve it off the ground and bring it along with him in his powerful muzzle. At this point, Erik swiftly removed a whistle from the breast pocket of his uniform and gave it sharp blow.
"PRRREEEEEEEEET" (Apparent onomatopoeia for a whistle)
The instant that it was sounded off, the Growlithe had stopped dead in his tracks and promptly seated his rear end to the ground. This was exactly the reaction the guard was looking for, as it indicated that Hachi had indeed remembered what he had been taught back at the academy. Grinning, as he watched Hachi's eager gaze stare back at him, coupled with the anxious twitches in the pokemon's body, Erik decided to move onto his next command. "Lass es!" (leave it!) With that, the pokemon let his baton drop from his muzzle as he continued to stare back at his trainer. This was again, the correct action Erik was looking for.
However, when he returned to a previous command, "Hier," Hachi had once again lowered his head to retrieve his master's belonging before charging his way back towards Erik. Although, it was correct that he had told Hachi to come back to him, Erik didn't want the pokemon to bring him his baton as he had previously instructed the pokemon to leave it behind for the sake of their command practice. He guessed Hachi might have been too eager to bring the object back to him, which was typical of the never-ending boundless energy this growlithe was known for. "Lass es!" Erik once again called out, only to have the pokemon ignore his command before bounding up to him, just barely remembering to sit in front of his master's feet before jumping up on his hind legs and pawing at the guard's upper thigh for attention and praise. Erik couldn't help but run a hand through his hair before lightly shaking head. He knew he still had some kinks to work out when it came to Hachi's behavior, but it was something he'd have to work on over time, most likely during his days off. He didn't dare consider evolving the police pokemon with a Fire Stone until he deemed Hachi as "fully trained". Obedience training a fully grown 340lbs Arcanine wasn't exactly feasible and not exactly something he wanted to challenge himself with. That thought alone was exhausting.
Retrieving his now moist baton from the puppy pokemon's mouth, Erik fastened it back onto his belt before gently pushing Hachi from his thigh. The pokemon once again looked up at him expectantly, as if waiting for some kind of reward. Instead, he was simply given another pat on the head. "Next time, I owe you a treat." Hyun smiled at the pokemon before diverting his attention to his watch. They still had a little bit of time yet before they needed to continue on their daily route around the campus. For now, Erik decided to hang around the main building at the front gate just a little longer, incase anyone suspcious walked up to the campus or some student needed his help in some way. Considering the former, Erik supposed that having a school located on an island was probably enough to deter any-would-be predators. Removing his hand from Haci's head, the uniformed guard slowly made his way back towards the stone pathway that connected the gate and main building.

☩ The Security Guard☩
Already out and about, the security guard was already ready for whatever scumbag came her way. The noon time was already pissing her off to Arceus-know-what-ends. With a felon roaming the city the area no longer was safe. This woman would have to deduce whether this criminal should be brought to the side of justice. It didn’t matter if they looked like a plump plumb or appeared as a bruised banana. If she were to be the one to bring this fiend to justice it would serve her purpose to the great cause. Whether they were a Pokemon, male, female, a kid, adult, or even an elderly fellow; if they committed a crime then justice and a good beating would be their just reward.
The lunch phase had just ended as the woman stood guard at the school entrance. There was nothing to report, so far. The school gate was rather devoid of any presence besides herself and the Pokemon by her side. The Pokemon had kept its focus on the surrounding area so as to keep an eye for any suspicious activity that was outside of the human’s range. ”Doesn’t look like we have any newcomers tonight. What a fripping waste of my time. Treating security guards to be escorts or a poor excuse for a directory.” The security clicked her tongue while hiding her vision under the visor of the hat. The woman had been looking forward to some kind of action as of late. Was it everyday that a security guard could be put to use? NO! The school would have preferred to keep everything peachy. Tch! The school didn’t teach the kids anything in regards to defending themselves from whatever was ready to eat them in the outside world. Heart was almost a 100% sure that the school wouldn’t teach about death, drug and human trafficking. The school was treating and teaching in a way as if the Pokemon world was some sort of day dream where your wildest dreams could come true. What a bunch of cow poop!
In the meantime there wasn’t much activity in this area. At least not anything that would warrant her attention. If a Pokemon caused mischief then it caused mischief, if someone was betraying the trust and love of another individual then that was their own business, if someone was trying to surprise someone else than whatever. The only that she wanted to focus on were those who were breaking the laws the school laid out or those that would be along the lines that the world had laid out. Killing, stealing, sexaul assault, you name it. These would not be, in any means, tolerated. She already had some interaction with one of the students here at the school. A repeat offender, someone who didn’t listen, and a child who clearly needed to understand that if rules weren’t followed the consequences were sure to follow. ”Come on, let us move on.”
