Exhaustion. That was all Riko felt. Her family always joked whenever this "period" happens. They call her "Rip Van Riko", a pun to compare her to "Rip Van Wrinkle", the man that slept for 100 years. During the festival in Lamia District, Riko had missed the tournament which she wasn't going to participate in of course, but to watch and take notes. But, she was tired and felt feverish, which is why she was just resting in bed. After that, her little faze came in. Now she was STILL tired. Riko sighed. Complaining about it isn't going to help. She needed to get up. She went and splashed some water in her face. She still felt tired. No surprise there, she thought. She ate some Japanese sour candies, since sugar always seemed to wake her up. She then went on to her daily morning routine. Balancing on one leg, Riko stretched one of her arms out, and leaned forward. Yup, yoga. Snivy eventually woke up not long after, and she rubbed her eyes. "Snivy...." she muttered. Snivy was pretty tired as well. Like Pokemon trainer, like Pokemon. "I almost forgot! I need to congratulate Maria for getting 2nd place in the tournament!" Riko slapped her forehead. Plus, she needed to get ready before class starts. She didn't want another "incident" to happen, like on the first day. Riko put on her school uniform and decided to plan out her next outfit. Riko went to her dresser and pulled out a red flannel and dark blue jeans. "What do you think Snivy?" she gestured to her outfit for the grass snake Pokemon to look at. Snivy shook her head. A "no". "Hmm... it is pretty plain... Riko rummaged through her dresser, trying not to make a mess since she wasn't the only one living here. "How about this? she held up a black mini dress with a coral bow. "Snivy!" Snivy shook her head once more. It is pretty fancy. How about this one?" Riko took out a white translucent blouse with a velvet red skirt, a light blue denim jacket, and light brown combat boots. Snivy nodded. This was the one. Riko went inside the bathroom to shower, then came out with her long straight, flowing hair. Riko decided not to tie her hair on the side, the ones below the cat ears like she usually does. She twirled around in her outfit. "Cute and casual. Amazing taste as always." Snivy put her hands on her hips and nodded. She then tossed Riko something. Riko peered at the object. It was a golden watch. To make her outfit perfect. "Thanks Snivy! You never fail me", Riko grinned from ear to ear. Her outfit was planned out so she changed back into her uniform. Now there's one thing left. Breakfast.
Marco stood outside Tera's room debating whether he should knock on the door or not. Some time had passed already since there return to the academy from Winter vacation, but the times he saw Tera were becoming fewer. She sometimes didn't come to class and when she did come, she would leave immediately after class was over which didn't give him the opportunity to talk with her. Marco didn't want to be a bother, but he was honestly becoming worried. Not seeing or talking with Tera was starting to feel painful, he would feel an ache in his chest quickly followed by thoughts of seeing her. Eventually these feelings just boiled up and he knew he had to see her no matter what, but now that he was standing at her door he was hesitating. Tera never rejected his company and she was always so cheerful, but he was afraid of bothering her or being told to leave. Charmander and Murkrow understood him the most since they also wanted to see their friends Flare and Natu; Gible was still new to the team, but he was happy to tag along. His Pokemon were the ones that actually urged him which he really appreciated. However, he decided to keep them in their Pokeballs just in case they got too excited and potentially disrupt Tera from resting. He didn't want to be mean to his Pokemon so he gave each of them all the rare candies that he had. He made sure to split them up somewhat evenly and that made his Pokemon happy.
The young boy took a deep breath and finally got the guts to raise his hand. Why was this so hard? Could it be that there was something else that he feared? Perhaps not just rejection, but seeing a not cheerful and tired Tera was causing him hesitation? He still remembered how Tera nearly passed out and he took her to the Nurse's Office; that experience made him realize how much he cared for Tera's well being. "No more hesitating," no matter what he wanted to see Tera and instead of focusing on himself he should instead focus on his friend. The boy puffed up his chest and knocked on the door. "I-Its me! Marco!" the boy announced himself, a bit shaky, but hopefully his voice was heard. He listened carefully for any indication of steps or movement inside the room.
