The entrance seemed to crack and howl like an ominous cavern, the winds resulting of the weather changes would seem to blow out into the low pressure zone as it began to sprinkle outside. "This must be it, lets us begin!" Sakiko didn't flinch in the slightest at the entrance, it was simply the path to adventure for her. Nothing could stop her now if all there was in the way was a simple cave. Well simpleish, it was actually her first time traveling through one of these but she could already detect the scent of salt composites.. which was somewhat strange considering the location, there must have been some water in the area at some point.. or maybe there still was. As she walked into the entrance she could hear the sound of water drops dripping into water.. She wondered how that could have been.
"Hmmm moisture? It seems like this cave is closer to the ocean than I thought." She accessed her pokepad having a look suddenly she spoke to it "Any history of ocean access from here?" The pokepad suddenly pulled up a few stories of past trainers claiming some unusual pokemon appearing there in the water caves below though due to the depths one would have to travel in high radical cave waters without some pretty special gear one would have to be fairly lucky to find much there assuming you could even get that far. "I see"
The light from the pokepad reflecting of her glasses would show little messages and pulled up pages involving interesting experiments that had been conducted in the cave. Another place to look at some day but for now she just needed to learn to get from one end to the other, she taped the screen with an amazing proficiency and spoke to it "Help me find the shortest route" She didn't even finish her sentence as though it were one of those smart tablets, the thing was obviously intelligent. "Ready Yukie? We'll be spending a whole night in a cave.. erm.. well near one of the entrances anyways."

He was starting to disliked the route due to the repetitivel need in taking it so much. He hoped this would be among the last times he would have to travel it for quite some time to come. Nothing impressive about voice recognition software. Thats been around for years. Hell the teleportal pades uased in the Sliph Com were less impressive then some things he'd seen before. Sakiko broke his train of thought. "Huh, oh yeah, right. Yeah im ready." Releasing both Zubat and Meowth. The cat's night vision and the bats sonar would help them navigate the cave, though he already knew the passage by heart. No need to tell Sakiko that though. He could have a little fun at her expanse in here. Stepping into the cave with the Zubat atop his shoulder just as Jacque had had his he listened for the sound of the pokemons squeak to hit the walls and bounce back at him. Yeah he could do this. "one moment before we go further" Sakiko pulled out her phone and sent Professor oak a message stating that they'd made it to Union cave and planned to spend the night out there. She also mentioned that she planned to contact them after they got out for safety, there was a rainstorm coming by some coincidence as they passed though a cave next to the ocean and also mentioned she was with a companion but forgot to mention the name. "lets go"
Sakiko would manage to follow the yukie and even make her way around the cave on her own seeming to be fairly good at moving around even though the light from her pokepad only went so far. She was afterall fairly good at getting around with abstracted and obstructed vision. She could hear a lot of sounds but wasn't quite sure what it was yet. She checked to see what kind of pokemon were here thinking yukie probably wanted to rest at the end of the cave. He'd probably been here before since he lived nearby, afterall he did seem to have a big variety of pokemon.. now that she thought about it, her team was fairly diversified as well. She wondered if she could find a cave dwelling water type and what it would be like. Or maybe a geodude, they seemed to frequent these caves and the pokedex app said they'd show up here as well.

Couldn't have her seeing or over earing him after all. Zorua picking up on his mischievous grin inquired as to what he was plan. "What are you up to ?" Yukie waited to respond. "Shhh, Im going to prank Sakikithink you can you change into a copy of me you think ?" He inquired with a light giggle. "Well maybe but i don't know. Sure enough the cave tunnel turned and for a short few seconds Yukie and the Zorua would be out of Sakiko's line of sight. In that time Zo jumped down changing into a mirror copy of Yukie. Her body seemed to imply morph into his own. It was actually quite creepy to watch."On my count and follow my lead." He counted with his fingers before Sakiko edge just barily into view, they would be hidden by shadows. They strung forward rushing the girl.
"Ahhhhhhhhhhh Onix, run for your lives !" Yukie screamed following by Zo cast into his form. "Its brown and rocky!" She wailed "Its the menace of the dark !" Zorua was th first upon Sakiko quickly ducking behind her. Yukie stopped dead as the pokemon pointed him out. "Its gonna eat me Sakiko. Save me !" Yukie instantly saw a chance to further the prank. "Hay im not the onix, Shes the onix !"

Yukie and company seemed to pull further ahead. She thought that Yukie was a little afraid of this sort of place and just wanted to get through faster, he probably had been here afterall.
Why is she going so fast.. or am I going slow thought sakiko who seemed to keep tripping up on rocks.. there was some trick to walking in caves she found.. the areas with the smaller grain tended to lead to more walkable paths. Suddenly after a scientific breakthrough that make her wonder about how safe it was to be going downhill in the rain in such a cave Yukie seemed to return screaming about an onyx??? "Save you?.. Okay what should I do?" Onyx seemed to be a rock type and they were supposed to be weak to ground types.. in any case it seemed the smart thing to do here. "Nosepass lets see what we can do!" It was unlikely anything bad would suddenly happen since this cave had been used as a route for so long according to the reports she'd seen just moments ago. Which meant there was an onyx living in a water cave... THE SCIENCE! But to make things even stranger there seemed to be another yukie in the cave. How could yukie be in two places at once? Even if it was a pokemon talking well... there was a talking pokemon in a cave! THE SCIENCE!
She grabbed the yukie next to her and charged ahead, to find the onyx, it was brown apparently, was this something rare or a strange watercave phenomena! Supposedly there were more of these in Johto too! "Lets see what we can do here, Nosepass your nose can detect large shifts in electrolyzed erm.. dirt filled ground water right? Can you find the Onyx for us?" She hadn't even considered the possibility she should be afraid yet. The probability was that this was a great opportunity! She was excited! but it still didn't really show on her face somehow as she appeared to calmly give nosepass an order. Nosepass got to work as Sakiko took fake yukie to peek around the corner. The 2 yukie's problem couldn't really be solved until they looked and well... even if there were 2 somehow she couldn't just leave the other one there right?

Quickly gripping the disguised Zo and leaving the real Yukie behind to boil into a temper. He's carefully laid out prank had been totally ignored. He just want to punch her now. He had to calm down. Zorua on the other hand was just as shocked by her reaction but not angry the prank had failed but more laughing at the fact she was this dense. No human could be that thick headed could they ? she was practically a Aggron with how tough that skull had to be. The black cat Meowth rubbed agaist Yukies leg to calm him down and the zubat toke to the air seeking the exit, which wasn't to much further ahead. In fact the light was just up ahead a little ways. "Lets just go, Meowth, leave her, let her catch up on her own." He would huff pushing past Sakiko n Zorua who sensing his temper transformed back into the tiny pink and grew fox pokemon. "I think Yukies upset miss Sakiko." Remarked Zo standing in her real form at Sakiko's feet watching Yukie storm off.

"???" sakiko didn't get it, maybe it was a johto thing. Whatever the case she did need to hurry and catch up but yukie didn't normally let zo walk on her own... He remembered the route well by now having taken it more times then he wished to remember. Hopefully this would be the last time for a long time, Perhaps forever he hopped. Zorua was sat atop his shoulder for a free ride to avoid the muddy cave floor. The rain from the day before had turned much of the cave's first few yards of dirt into mud that toke some careful navigating to avoid. ╔═══════════════════════════════════════════════╗ Yukie would spend the next few minutes in quite contemplation of his current situation devising a ways of solving the problem of catching pokemon that could very well kill him if he wasn't careful. A Beedrill wouldn't be to hard to catch. They where all over Johto and Kanto but a Vespiquen would be the real problem. They where much rarer and from what he knew of them only the female Combee could evolve so if he couldn't find a Vespiquen out right then he could need to work towards tracking down a female Combee. The exite wasn't to much further ahead now. Zorua had trotted off ahead of Yukie to bask in the light and wait on her trainer. "hurry up lazy bones." She called down the tunnel. Casting her voice as an echo down the long winding underdark which seemed to be amplified by the sheer fashion in which the tunnels had been shaped. From deep within its bowls came a soun of movement as something large shifted and began running up the tunnel towards Yukie. He didn't need any further reason to run. He toke flight for the tunnel s exit just as the near by wall just behind him now shifted to reveal it had in fact been a sleeping Onix now woken by Zorua's naivety.

The path through Union Cave was meant to be short and sweet, but as Avikna entered she found herself slowing down. Why be in such a rush? She was away from Violet City, and even if they'd tracked her there, they'd sooner or later catch up to her, right? Glancing around the cave, she finally rested her eyes on Mave, who was keeping pace with the human. "The Pokemon here are weak, let's train Lexera for a while." Avikna stated.
As she said this, a Zubat swooped down from the ceiling of the cave and began frantically flapping around Avikna and Mave. The red head, stepped back, waving her hand around in an attempt to scare it off, but it wasn't getting the message. "L-lexera, get out here and use Thunder!" Avikna shouted, reaching for the sheep's ball, thankfully Lexera let herself out, though quickly seemed to forget the reason she was summoned. "Use Thunder on this bat!" Avikna shouted, finally getting a good slap on the Zubat's body, knocking it to the ground. Before it could recover, Lexera released a bolt of static electricity from her wool, fainting the bat in an instant.

Avikna was soon going to find out the prospect of training in this cave wasn't all that difficult a concept. The Pokemon were abundant in the cave, and most just brave enough to challenge anything remotely human or moving. She came across one such challenge, in the form of a Geodude, accompanied by an Onix of supreme stature. If it wasn't for how impatient Avikna was training Lexera she'd of attempted to capture the Onix for her team. It was dragon-like, in the idea that it was a giant rock snake. Calling out Astrid, as she didn't want Lexera up against two ground/rock-type Pokemon, she called for Zelda to use Surf. Astrid, being a dragon found the water a mild nuisance. When both the Geodude and Onix were gone, Avikna pressed onward, leaving Astrid out for a bit of training when the need rose. Lexera had that.... thing on her head, making her focus a little better.
