Lake of Rage. Noel had heard stories about this place; that it was home to actual Gyrados and that at one point there had been a great big red Gyrados that had rampaged the lake and given the local inhabitants trouble at one point in time. Right now, the lake looked calm which was a relief. Noel wasn’t certain that his pokemon could handle a powerful raging pokemon like a Gyrados. The Pidgeot dropped them off near the lake edge, but not so close that there was any risk. It was a bright and pleasant day, perfect for egg hunting.

The group decided to walk along the lake edge, taking in the view. It was a pleasant time so there was no real rush to find the egg. There were a few other trainers about, but they seemed involved in their own missions, be it fishing (there were a few taking up that challenge) or hunting for eggs, or training against the wild life that happened to inhabit the area. Noel took interest in the fishermen that lined the lake edge with their fishing poles.

He'd never really been fishing before and soon was wondering exactly what it would take to do so. He certainly wouldn’t attempt to fish out of this particular lake, that seemed to just be asking for trouble in his mind. But there were plenty of places with water and then there was the oceans and seas that occupied various regions. He bet there were tons of water pokemon to be caught under the waters. Of course, he was already set when it came to a water pokemon. Once Mattimeo went about evolving (if he so chose to do so) then he’d have a water type right there, which was perfect for him.

Noel wasn’t certain if he wanted to expand his team beyond what he had right now. Oh sure, he could definitely use a flying type to help him travel once he had the appropriate skillset to do so, but even then, that was only one extra pokemon to potentially add. Thinking about it a moment, he wondered if he had anyone that would eventually gain the ability to fly. Or teleport. That was a pretty handy skill he’d heard was useful for travelling about. That was something to look into…

All his musings had distracted Noel from what was going on around him. While he thought about his team building options Sherlock had led the way to the next egg, which Algernon and Alanna had been nice enough to retrieve and bring to their trainer. Noel blinked and smiled down at them all, raising a hand and rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly. He felt a bit bad that his mind kept wandering like it did, but it was good his pokemon were on the prowl and keeping focus on the task at hand. He produced his pokedex and sent it off before summoning the rider and hopping onto it. One more destination in Johto and then it was off to a new region!

Ｎᴀɴᴀsᴋᴀ
Nanaska was feelings a bit bold, and smiled as a thought popped into her head. She didn't actually think it through all that much, but it sounded pretty freaking awesome in her head. She stood, earning her a confused squawk from the pokemon that was flying her over the lake "thanks for the ride, but I'll take my leave here! I'm gonna try to do something awesome!" she said over the wind. With that, she jumped off trying to flip towards the land that was a little bit in front of her. She was so close to landing her jump, sadly she wasn't a stun double or anything and to be honest it was a pretty bad idea. She flailed a bit, falling into the water with a loud splash. She blinked, floundering about as she tried to get to the surface of the water. She couldn't swim all that well, why had she failed to remember that?! She coughed underwater, floating downwards. Her eyes closed, the last thing she saw was a bright red flash from her pokeball and something dragging her upwards. Then it was all black.
Nanaska could feel herself being dragged out of the water, something slapping her cheek lightly. She groaned, coughing before her eyes fluttered open. Tsuko looked at her, concern laced in his eyes. It seemed that in desperation he managed to force himself out of his pokeball and saved her from drowning. She gave him a weak smiled, "sorry... I was trying to be cool" she said, swallowing a bit more air. She was soaked to the bone, and she slowly sat up. She winced, grabbing her wrist. It seems that she may have tweaked it a bit during the fall. Her cheeks tinted a pink color, she really hoped no one saw that, that would be really embarrassing if they did. She pursed her lips, moving some wet strands of hair to the side "guess I worried you huh? I'm sorry" she said, holding her wrist a bit gingerly.
Nanaska shivered a bit, maybe she should get warm and dry before she got really sick. She pursed her lips, and called out the rest of her pokemon. Once out, they all seemed to flock her, worrying over her like mother hens. She laughed weakly, coughing gently "i'm ok promise, I was just a little reckless, my bad" she said softly. She looked towards Leo and Akaor "think you can control your flames and dry my wet clothes? Maybe make a small camp fire too?" she asked. Her pokemon looked at one another, nodding as they slowly dried her off. After that was done, Leo walked over and laid behind her. Nanaska was grateful, and snuggled into his warmth as she closed her eyes gently. Maybe a little nap wouldn't hurt? She smiled softly, Leo's fun surrounding her. Once she was asleep, her pokemon looked at one another and nodded. While she rested, they'd go look for the egg that was in this location.
Nanaska slept soundly, relaxing into the warmth her pokemon was providing. Leo and Tsubasa stayed behind to protect Nanaska while all the others left to go search for the egg. Tsubasa took it upon himself to look for some bandages, he remembered Nanaska wrapping up an injury one time and made sure to watch carefully. He didn't know the exacts behind treating an injury, but this white cloth was usually used more of the time right? So he searched for it, and when he found it he moved over. He tilted his head to the side, before taking Nanaska's arm. It seemed to cause her discomfort and Leo shot him a look of annoyance. Apologizing, Tsubasa tried to be a bit more gently. However, try as he might the bandage just didn't want to work for him. He eventually gave up, throwing his hands up annoyed as the bandage un-rolled multiple times. It was to the point that he just shoved the bandage back into the bag, giving up trying to figure it out. So much for helping.
Nanaska slept for an hour or so surprisingly, she wasn't sure how that happened. When she opened her eyes, she had to blink a few times as each and everyone of her pokemon came into view. to her surprise they were all cuddled against her, and when she moved her good hand she was one again shocked to feel an egg sitting in her lap. It seemed like her own pokemon were tired, and from what she could gather it seems that while she was napping her pokemon went out of their way to actually search for the egg. She found the gesture warming, and she smiled happily. What did she do to deserve such a good group of pokemon? She'd be sure to reward them in the future for their good behavior. She was certainly being spoiled though, and she laughed a little when she noticed the unraveled bandages. It seemed like one of her pokemon attempted to wrap her wrist, but didn't know much about how that actual bandage worked. That was fine, she was just overflowing with joy right now. So she let her pokemon rest, before she fixed up her wrist and then left for the next egg location.
Weighing his options between the two, Zero decided to make his next destination the Lake of Rage. The last two areas he’d have to hit were right next to each other, so it didn’t really matter which of the two he knocked out first. He figured it’d probably be easiest to find eggs spread out in a more forested area, so it just meant he’d check the foliage around the lake first.

Trying not to get distracted for too long, Zero opted to ignore the water-types now to look around for the eggs he was looking for. He scanned around the water’s edge first, glancing into the shallows when the ripples left the calm shores undisturbed. He didn’t see any within, unsurprisingly, confirming to him that he’d just have to search the surrounding areas.

With Nova close behind, and Nevermoor still hiding in his shadow, the young man scoured the forest around the Lake of Rage.
