The Dragon Pulse struck and defeated Wobbuffet however as he watched the blue Pokemon faint there was a blast of white light that instantly defeated him. Simon returned Noibat thanking him softly as they went back to the Pokecenter to heal him up.

Taking Noibat out after he was healed Simon apologized but Noibat just nuzzled him to show it was okay. Fainting was a part of battling and in the end, training. Thanking him softly they went back outside to train some more.

The next Pokemon that came out was in a pile of rocks. Noibat and Simon braced for yet another Graveler however a much smaller Pokemon appeared. Since they hadn't seen a Geodude before Simon scanned it before getting ready for a battle. "Geodude the rock Pokemon. Noibat and Simon got ready for a tough battle, hopefully not a long one. Switching Weedle out for Noibat he braced for a rock throw or something when the wild Geodude did something that no one expected. it blew up. It nearly defeated Noibat but his health was high enough that it didn't and unlike the last battle which took a long time this one was over. Noibat blinked a few times before flying over to Simon to be healed up again.

Rushing back to the Pokecenter Simon healed his friend up. Noibat was starting to really hate Wobbuffet and wished he had a way to avoid Destiny Bond. Flying along side of Simon they went into the tall grass again before seeing another Pokemon come out to attack. Luckily it was a Graveler not a Wobbuffet.

Healing Noibat up from the attack the Graveler did they didn't have a lot of room to heal as another Graveler attacked. Also wanting Kakuna to evolve and get some experience Noibat let Kakuna witness the fight as he took the first hit.

Healing Noibat up there was that ding again showing that Kakuna had leveled up enough. The cocoon cracked open revealing the Beedrill. Returning him promising to train later Simon returned him to the PC and removed Houndour that he caught at that party. Along with him he found a Mega Stone for the second level so one he evolved they would have another Mega Pokemon.

Continuing into the tall grass they discovered a wild Gligar. Simon smiled remembering when he first caught his own Gligar. Since he had one already, an evolved one, he didn't need to catch this Pokemon instead Noibat and Houndour were out for this battle.

After defeating Gligar Simon healed Noibat up before deciding to give Houndour the lucky egg to hold. This would help Houndour to level up quicker, as another fire type Simon figured that he may be the final team member to take on the next gym with Combusken and Braixen.
