He moved?! Why would he move now? What a fool! Now Nikita had a direct line to his throat and from there she could claim her pelt and reserve a spot among the clan's trusted. The weaver would be beaten at his cruel game! There would be... would... be...

Suddenly, Nikita's rage torn mind was stilled. The soft rattling of a purr and the poinding of a (surprisingly) calm and steady heart-beat overtook her mind. Wrath-crazed eyes widened briefly before eyelids begun to grow heavy.

No! It was too... soon... She had... energy... fight... kill...

A low grow rattled within Nikita's throat before she moved to bite Riot's shoulder in one last feeble effort. In this case, the bite may have been painful, it may have brken skin, but it was a mere bite. Her head remained still where it was, with no sign of jerking around to remove any chunks of flesh.

It wasn't long before her limbs begun to tremble and all force she had pressed against him on her attack begun to waver. Conciousness was beating away with each strong pounding of his heart. Her steady growl was also slowly silencing.

What... happen... ?

Riot's gaze closed as he felt the bite on his shoulder, his body brace-but relaxed as it wasn't no where near as hard as it should have been. However at this point his mind was starting to fog over.

Still head butting a FireKin, was not a good idea.

However, in his lazy attempts to fend her off she was being soothed. The B'alam didn't move for fear of disrupting such a peace. Nikita, even as a cub had a hard time staying awake when she would lay against him and his chest was anywhere near her head.

Tail flicked and shifted behind him, as his own body slowly started to relax. Remembering her snoozy temptations, Riot slowly lowered himself to the earth as her body lessened it's standing hold...

As a rag-doll or a marionette being pulled by string, Nikita slowly followed Riot's every movement. Her vicious bite slacked even more, though her maw remained attached.

Each breath she drew deepened further to the soft lulling state she was rappidly falling victim to. It had been so long since she had been lulled to sleep in such a manner, and her 'weakness' to it had not changed.

Crimson eyes soon hid behind their lids while her claws begun to sheith. Even her docked ears rolled forward than relaxed completely. Her wild tail soon stilled and became as limp as the rest of her frame as she leaned and listened further.

Her mind was still a fog, but this was a fog that took hold of her from limb to limb and she cold not begin to understand it.

She hd to fight. She had to kill. She was so close! The smell of his blood had been so bold, but now it was drowned out and dulled, as was with most of her senses. Hearing remained particularly intuned, but only tuned into one thing.

That one thing that soon cast her into a deep slumber. At least that had not changed in her over her long while lost...

A breath of relief left Riot as he felt Nikita's claws remove themselves from his fur and flesh.

Slowly Riot started to lower himself into the sands as he felt Nikita relax even more. Paws dugged themselves into the sanded earth as he too was Able to relax in the earth. Tail curled around his body, and his paw that was around Nikita pulled her closer to his frame.

Motoring a soft purr, Riot's own gaze closed as his head still continue to pulse with each heart beat.

Picking up his free paw he licked the back of it before gently wiping the top of his head and brow. Gently he focused on keeping the constant purr, till his own thoughts grew heavy with sleep.

Nikita only briefly struggled against her own deep sleep. A low growl rattled her entire frame briefly before a deep breath calmed it once more. Her lips quivered and flashed her slightly bloodied teeth before stilling in the deep breath.

Sleep has been something that she had been mostly deprived of since she had lost her friends. Cain would often wake her up only after a couple hours, sometimes less, and begun to train her despite fatigue. Afte a while she became used to it. Whatever him or Morning Star said she aknowledged it.

This level of sleep, enough to where her muscles were finally starting to fully relax out of death mode, she had long since needed.

She couldn't tell if she had any dreams. Her sleep was far too deep to remember any of them if she had. Time slipped away and even past a couple of hours she remained in a slumber.

(86 days....symptoms of concussion lasts.)

As Nikita continued to slumber and slip into a deeper sleep, Riot's arm remained kindly around her frame. Feeling her fully relax, and snuggle against his chest, Riot continued to heave a soft purr.

Keeping his eyes close, he felt his thoughts start to swim, and a floating feeling take hold. Like he was slowly and warmly being lifted into the sky and rocked about. Opening his gaze, he checked to make sure he was indeed still laying on sandy earth. Which he was, as dizzy as he was it felt as if the world was turning him about. It was enough to make him want to throw up that desert rat he had for lunch.

Closing his glazed blue eyes, Riot tuned his head to his Sleeping Nahtill. The chalked sight could take in how peaceful her frame was. Blinking a weak smile rested on Riot's maw as his tail-that felt like a thousand pounds slipped along side and around them. His daze thoughts where amazed at the fact that it was her. Leaning his maw closer, he sniffed in her scent before a calculating tongue slipped out to gently groom at her fur. The Tahtil felt he had to do something to keep himself from falling completely asleep.

Which was so tempting, which was bazaar with how excited he felt he was. His head just hurt and it felt heavy.

Though, the gentle pur and loud thumping of the otehr's heart did well to hold her to sleep, suddenly, Nikita's soft slumber was rattled. Just slightly.

As the other begun to froom her fur her frame tensed and shuttered. The fur along her back bristled while her nose wrinkled. A deep growl rattled her throat to the strange contact and hissed past her clenched teeth in each breath. Her tail only thumped at the ground once before stilling once again.

Thankfully, she was still asleep. Her subconcious was only reacting to the touch as it had been trained to do. In normal situation (as normal for her) she would have already woken and attacked for such an action. Once she had torn appart a small roden for simply touching her tail as she slept. Normally, as she had been trained, she slept very lightly.

In this case, she was still in deep slumber. For once.

"...fhain." Riot rattled as his grooming only seemed to upset the warrior even more. Releasing a breath, Riot lowered his head to rest on what he figured she would mind on top of her head. Why she was aggressive towards him, he still didn't know and frankly he didn't care at the moment. His head hurt too much.

Releasing another breath, the Earth dweller kept at a stubborn purr.

His aching thoughts, poke at what was going to happen when his sleeping beauty finally woke. Though his brain power at the moment couldn't even began to process how he was going to deal with it.

Maybe if she would stop trying to kill him, they could sit down and talk about it. Maybe enjoy a little sand rat together?

Not likely. His luck, he most likily will have to fight again...which, he hoped he felt better. Perhaps maybe after a little rest?

Sleep was so...tempt....ing.

A soft pur, slowly haulted unwilling as the sand King fell asleep.

Though in the end the other had managed to pass out, his efforts in keeping Nikita in a slumber worked wondertfully. Than, as he himself could no longer keep his conciousness, Nikita's awareness begun to return.

Within an hour of his passing out, her eyes begun to flicker open. The world around had dimmed slightly. There was still some daylight left, but it was beginning to fade to twilight.

Was she still back at camp? Why was it so warm? What was her frame doing? it was not ready to defend itself if need be. Her limbs were completly relaxed. It was pleasant. It reminded her of a time when- Her eyes widened as she looked to the tan and slightly bloodied fur before her. Riot?

Her nostrils flared. That scent was familiar... No, Riot had been killed long ago. This couldn't have been him. B'alam did not come back from the dead. The weaver severs their threads and casts them aside. So, who was this?

An imposter.

Immediately she begun to tear herself away from this imposter to come to a stand a distance away. Her frame tensed, shoulders hunched and ridge raised.
Once the sun set, Cain would be looking for her and would wonder why she had not accomplished her task yet. She could not dissapoint him or Morning Star.

Adrenaline drove her breaths to deepen as moved to be away from her captor. Why not go for the kill now? She didn't know herself. All she wanted to do now was to back away.

As Nikita shifted away from Riot, his body was slacked enough where she could easily get away.

His head hitting the sand softly cause the tumbled mountain to stir.

"Neh..." The adult subconsciously tried to utter and pull himself to consciousness.

"Key,tah..." The b'alam heaved, as his head shifted in a raise before it dropped to the earth once more. His legs quivered as if his body tired to move his unconscious mind as it did it's best to wake. In his passed out state , he knew he had to wake, but the mental fatigue and nauseous swimming floated his body to luring dark oblivion.

Nikita stared back at the toppled mountain with a sharp gaze. Her jaw tightened and her teeth clenched as thought overtook hermind. This fool knew her name, he knew what she went by. Only Cain and Morning Star had been told her name, once, and it was so rare that she had gone by that. Not as this one had uttered it.

Docked ears perked forward to listen to his meager movements.

A heavy breath passed her nostrils as she watched him. She could kill him. Right now. He couldn't move, it would be wasy. Too easy. Though she had widdled him down to such a state, she couldn't bring herself to come close. Without realizing conciously, she had been slowly stepping backward. It hurt to look at this tan lump of earth. Why did it hurt? There should be pride, victory in spilling his blood! Should be... but it was tearing at hear heart.

It was too much. Without a second growl, Nikita turned back and begun to sprint away, as best she could, from her tormenter. This action would earn her a severe punishment, she was aware of it. However, she could not explain her actions. Embarassment? Regret? Hurt? Why? This encounter only fogged her mind and tortured her heart. Cruel cruel grand weaver!!

(Roll 15 or higher.)

Ears painfully docked back, as Riot heard Nikita shifting away. He felt his heart subconsciously best harder. Eyes pulled themselves open, revealing a 'far off' look, he couldn't seen. Everything was black, but as if a shadow in his minds eye he could see her racing off.

No....why was she...doubt filled his heart, maybe it wasn't her. Nikita, wouldn't run off...from him. Unless they where playing tag....

His heart beat quick, and his head thundered and cracked at his skull.

No. It was her, he knew it was her. And he couldn't loose her, again. Paws gripped the earth. He had to stop her, he had to MOVE!

Like a marionette he had seen the dark kin have, Riot's body shifted to his paws. In a moment of clarity, that accend like a dove and stuck as fast as Lightning.

And roar thundered from the Balam's chest.

"NIKITA!" The Tahtil roared once more. Just as it did, his paw raised and slapped on the earth. Kicking up a cloud of sand around him. As if the paw caused a pointed earth quake, it snaked across the ground under the sands. In a second earth made pillars rocketed from the ground, baring and making a wall before Nikita's path.

HE. WAS. EARTH.

A heavy breath heaved from spent Balam the rise and fall of his brown chest was the only sound that left the Tahtil. Sightless Blue eyes rolled in the back of his head, and if the strings had been snapped free from a puppet the Tahtill coloapsed.

A cloud of sand waked and wafted from the ground, generating a hazy cloak of the fallen b'alam. As the haze settled, it revealed a now larger faintly heaving mountain, that's ridge was now decorated with a hot pink that matches his mowhawk and mane.

Nikita was determined to get away, her focus was split between what was going on and what would happen when she got back, if she got back. Should she go back? This failure could be the end of her. She should have been able to kill-

The earth seemd to shake from benieth her. Suddenly the sands sprung up before her and caused her progress to come to a sliding halt. So sudden that her frame nearly collided with the sand wall.

Eyes widened. Did she just hear her name come from the earth?!

Her breaths remained deep and rappid. Her head turned over her shoulder to where she had come from. Something deep within told her to go back. Something had called to her. Was it that fool? Why was he so presistant with her name? How did he know it?!

Before she could dwell more on such questions she felt the approach of another. Cain...

Almost as if her legs had a mind of her own she begun to sprint back to the fool she had left behind. It seemed as if her frame was now moving on something mechanical. Why return? Who knew. Her mind wanted to convince her that she feared pinishment and feared he would take what kill was hers. However, there was a completely different meaning below the surface, one she would soon hopefully realize.

Cain was coming fast... at this pace the both of them would arrive at their destination within the same moment. The rush had caused Nikita to be completely oblivious to the sudden changein her 'fool', suddenly larger with more of an impressive ridge down his back... Her focus was skyward as she saw th forboading shadow begin it's decent.

Nikita's head lowerd as she prepared to knock him away from -her- terget. Claws dug at the earth as she managed to speed up. Before sense could catch at her tail she could feel the heavy thud of colliding with the Dark B'alam and knocking him to the sands and beggining a 'blind' tussle of claws and teeth with her former 'leader'. The sands kicked up in a flurry of wings and claws...

Riot's form, remained still and quitely heaved with spent breath. He couldn't move and his thoughts where far from him. There was no realization of what he had become or what he even now looked like or what even transpired. Even what he had just done, he didn't even know he had done it.

There would be no chance of him waking at any time soon. He was completely obvious to the battle that now raged just a few paw paces from him.
