Reese's own eyes glowed slightly as they widened in response, but nothing at all comparable to the striking display in front of her. Having moved in quite close, the soft, glowing breeze appeared to blow Reese back slightly. Blinking the ghost offered a small, rare smile and took Aisha's hand. It was warm! Reese, at best, tended to be room temperature. She had a feeling that if she focused long enough and well enough, someday she might be able to become cold. But warmth! That was unexpected in ghosts and undead, and quite nice, really. Reluctantly, she let go, and reached for her notepad. Your features are many and of good quality. My name is Reese.

"I'm Aisha." And her orange blush as genuine suddenly. She felt foolish for it, the tiny rush of excitement she got when meeting a new friend, or at least the hope they would be a new friend. She had to run through her father's advice about how her emotions would balance out, that she needed to calmly work through them, but everything was still so new and her friend experiences here at Amity had run the gamut. "Thanks.. I think your hair is super awesome by the way." She pulled her hood back again, pulling a dread. She'd never thought about dying them, only decorating with beads and feathers and baubles. As a sign of good faith she unhooked a tiny skull bead with a clasp. "Here you go.. Free stuff!"

The smile grew shocked and Reese carefully took the bead and examined it this way and that, memorizing the gift as well as she could until she'd be able to document it was home. As she did so, the ghoul floated a little bit higher, and everything about her seemed to get lighter. Reaching over to her other side, the ghost picked up a small, tidy canvas bag with her dorm emblem, and took out a wooden box, where she carefully placed the bead and stowed it away. There was no chance of it get lost now, and with a satisfied nod, Reese bent over her notepad once more. Thank you, it is a very fine thing. I would like to be friends.

Aisha watched in wonder as Reese very very carefully packed the bead away. She'd never seen anything like it really, especially not for something like a bead that was a dime-a-dozen. "Oh.. well you're welcome then." The zombie smiled and nodded, head jingling with her trinkets. "I'd love to be your friend!" It was a pick me up from her moping. She wanted to ask her all sorts of things but was pretty sure fearleading try outs may not be the time. "If you wanna hang out some time umm.. I can give you my number." Her phone was extracted from her pocket, emblazoned also with a stylized skull.

A rather loud conversation had the ghouls head turning, that's when she spotted her. Seeing a friend in the crowd Lute instantly felt awkward, or rather more awkward than normal. A small sheepish wave was given to Ayane, then she blushed and looked down. It was a relief to see her but even more of one to hear that no one was really going to get 'cut'. That had been a worry, she hadn't known before if she would really be able to handle getting rejected from the first club she tried out for. Looking up to Merry she bit her tongue, hopeful that someone would ask about when they would all meet and if they should all exchange numbers so better to keep in contact. That and turtle necks, Lute loved her some turtle necks and wondered if anyone would want them on the uniform.

Nodding gravely, Reese pulled out a phone from her bag, it had numerous little charms and even small tools dangling from it. Entering her own number, she held the screen up for the other ghoul to see.

Aisha took down the number and sent Reese a text. It was a grinning skull emoji. "Are you into music? Uh.." She opened her mouth for more questions but then her eyes darted to the fearleading crowd and the fact that Merry seemed to be trying to get them all together. Should Reese be going over ?

The wave sent a small thrill down Ayane's spine. Lute had seen her! She waved back to Lute quickly, and then bit her lip a little when the other ghoul blushed and looked down. She hoped she wasn't making things harder for Lute, but she wanted to be here to support her friend. She was sure she'd do great! She clapped her hands happily to herself, wishing good luck for Lute, and kept a respectful distance, gravitating towards where she saw some of the other potential spectators hanging out. She had no desire to try her hand a Fearleading - at least not yet. Maybe someday, once Lute was situated and she didn't feel like she was intruding into every aspect of her friend's life. It was bad enough she'd even come - but she wanted to give Lute support. She knew how shy the other ghoul was and she wanted to be there for her if things got out of hand. She was really proud of Lute right now, and she'd tell her as much once everything was said and done. But for now, she'd sit back and enjoy the show.
