Frost really did feel bad about the lack of.. professionalism his pool was. He liked to go big, to do good for others- even if they were just a bunch of bats. Huffing as his bat cirped excitedly for her pool’s completion, Frost was resigned. He didn’t like it, and really, he felt it all kind of cheap and bland and boring. Really boring at that. The water wasn’t going to be super cold, (which to him was needed), and it needed things in it, (things that were not mint, something he thought would have been even better). The ghost’s personal gripes aside he would do as he was told. Just grumble internally about it.
It could have been worse, he could have gotten the wrong siding, broken the cheap ‘pool’ with his claws, accidentally sat on the bat if he’d tried to do anything in his natural form which really was just a bad idea in general, or hey, he could have even had gone and left and then never have had to deal with bats and their picky perception of a perfect pool.
Too bad the canine was too much a softie to just ignore a blight. Ears pinned back he took what he was given and added it to the pool, checking to be sure that it wasn’t leaking or that the siding had dried and would not fall off anytime soon. Satisfied that his pool was sound to hold the water, he added it, putting his hand it to cool it down a little more than normal. He figured it would heat right up after. Plus he could take out some of the impurities from the water with the fact he was kind of made of water. Though he was mostly snow and ice in the physical form.
“okay.” He said, puling his hand out, noting the tiny ice crystals that had stuck to his skin. Yeah, ice and snow. At least he hadn’t begun to melt himself, (though he was close to it if he lingered much longer under the sun). “You pool is ready I think little bat. If you require more aid I am not sure I will be able to assist you.” Mostly because he hadn’t any idea how to speak bat. That and he did want to go and rest in his ice cold room now that he was thinking about it. Still, his bat did not look too pleased with the end results, and Frost just huffed at her. Picky bats with their pools. They were too pampered and if they were so desperate there was a lake they could have just dove into. Granted it had things that might eat them but what was life without a little risk involved?

Yah, that's right. No more complaining now, you ungrateful beast. You wanted the water, didn't you? Mia smirked, proud to have tamed the unruly bat (at least, in her opinion), and took the packets handed out by Batty. The heck was this? She opened the packet to find rose petals inside. Well.
The idea of her having to go get the water herself was SUCH a hassle, but her distaste of leaving things unfinished was even greater than the effort she'd have to expend for the tiny terror, and so, with a huff, she went and got water. ... only to have Godric throw a fit. JACK you're impossible to please.
--------------------------- "Oh, yay! Swim time soon!" Mayaa gave a tiny hi-five to her bat companion, and took additives given to her. Ooh, so neat! Dried apples? If she wasn't such a meat fan, she would have attempted to nibble on some pieces to see how it tasted, but she couldn't do that. These were for her little bat friend!
She got up and skipped happily to the ghost dorms, filling the pool up with plenty of water before bringing it back, and sprinkled some of the additives in. "Here you go, Mr. Bat! I hope you like it!" The happy chirp made her giggle.

With the bats happily splashing from pool to pool, you look to Batty to see what sort of pointless task he'll foist on you next, only to find that he's disappeared. There's really nothing left to do but watch bats play or go on with your lives.
Eventually all of the students present that day would find a little something on their person or in their rooms, but besides that, all they have learned is how to glue plastic together and all they have earned is a warm, slightly greasy feeling in their hearts or heart equivalents.
Quote: You know the drill about me and being sorry! I accidentally threw out my round 1/2 notes and I didn't feel like going through everything again until now! Using this formula initial happiness + siding* + glue + water** + end happiness Carlos and Mayaa have earned a 16 and 17 respectively and made Godric all kinds of happy! They will each receive a gold box! The bats recognize that everyone else tried really hard, so they will be awarded one silver seed (per player and not if you won a box). There are also RP points to be had! The extra points for attending are on account of the Summer Sale, so yay! You get: 3 points for posting in at least two rounds (which is everyone) and an extra 1 point for going over 800 words (per character) If you like, you may RP an exit, pad your existing posts, or continue rolling for rounds you missed, but no one new may enter at this time. Thank you so much for participating! I had a lot of fun reading your antics c: If you have any questions, PM me! * siding = 4 if it matched your bat's preference; siding = 0 if not ** water score was determined by how high your bat placed on the ranking for the water you rolled ex: John Doe's bat is Helga and he rolled 3 (perfume). Since perfume is Helga's second favorite additive, John Doe receives a +3 for his water score. (Salazar = 4; Helga = 3; Godric = 2; Rowena = 1)

Indeed, Ignatius looked over to where the old man might be, trying to figure out what the next thing they would have to do was ... but it turned out, the old man had disappeared. Really? He blinked, wondering why he would just leave his bats here and not stick around...
Well, they seemed happy enough, he supposed.
Ignatius let a small smile grow on his face, eventually becoming one of his wide grins he was rather known for. Yeah, he made the bat happy! He had to deal with water, sure, but things had worked out today. Ignatius puffed out his chest confidently and grinned, watching as Salazar enjoyed himself in the pool that Ignatius had (badly) made for him.
Ignatius watched for a little bit, anyway, before deciding that his good work was done and he felt like getting something cool himself. Maybe he would go get himself some ice scream ...
With a pat on the head to the bat, Ignatius was off.
=================
The bat made Serafina coo, her anger at the bat fading away after seeing just how happy the bat looked with the pool she had made. Sure, it was ... barely staying together ... but the bat seemed very happy with what it had and it seemed considerably less sweaty and hot. Even patting the bat and splashing it a bit with the water did not seem to irritate it anymore, which was admittedly a relief to Serafina even if she had just been yanked into this by that old man...
Speaking of, where was that old man?
Confused, Serafina glanced around, trying to locate where he might have gone off to. That was strange. His bats were still here, but he had left as soon as the pools were done ... huh.
Well, she would play with the bats for a little while longer. Now that they weren't so bratty and grouchy, they were rather adorable and amusing!
Smerdle Thanks for the class! sn: seiana , if you need it XD

To be honest, Mia found this a complete waste of time, though she supposed there was SOME satisfaction to see the winged rodent not die from heat... or something. Even if he WAS making a mess splashing up a storm. Still, her task was done, and with that, she returned to her room, determined to do something more productive with her day.
----------------------
Mayaa cheered, feeling extremely with her accomplishment of saving Mr. Bat from IMPENDING DOOM. Or, well, less impending doom and more unbearable heat. She hadn't even noticed Batty leave, and just sat there, spending the rest of her day watching Godric splash about.
((Late, but TY for the class, Smerd!!))
