Erumina nodded when Kiro reassured her that he would not be cold. His later words however, were lost and unheard to her for she had taken notice of Royce, who was leading the team through the northern gate of Network City. Scooping up Gatomon into her arms, the digimon tamer then followed her leader into the outskirts of the metropolis.
The journey to Freezeland was a difficult one. They traveled by foot, and Erumina was glad that she had worn a comfortable pair of boots. In addition, she was immensely grateful for the jacket Kiro lent her - without it she would probably be freezing. Gatomon, who found it difficult to keep her champion stage in such harsh temperatures, de-digivolved back into Salamon and huddled close to her partner. However, despite the harsh environment in which they were forced to travel in, neither complained. After all, they signed up for the mission with full knowledge of what they were n for.
It was only a couple hours later that they finally stopped for a break. From her purse, Erumina pulled out a chocolate chip cookie, which she promptly fed to Salamon. As the rookie munched on her treat, the blonde scanned her surroundings. They were surrounded by mountains that stood tall and proud, their tips covered with snow, and the lower parts a jagged grey. The scenery would be lovely and calming if it wasn't so cold, and the sky so gloomy.
Erumina was called from her reverie by the sound of Royce's harsh voice. Looking east, the digimon tamer took notice of a group of Meramon running down from the mountain at a ridiculous speed. Erumina gasped, and stood up. Sharing a look and look with Salamon, the digimon then began to glow.
"Salamon digivolve to... Gatomon!"
The duo had no intention to fight -- at least not yet. They wanted to try the peaceful approach first. From the corner of her eye, Erumina noticed that Royce was fleeing the scene to take cover from the fight. At this the woman frowned -- hopefully the leader of the mission was just preparing himself to fight. Nonetheless, Erumina did not pay him any more attention than was nessecary. There were angry Meramon to pacify. She noticed that Kiro's Leomon had digivolved, and the young man known a Theodore was attempting to calm the fire digimon down. She pursed her lips into a thin line, worried that the digimon may attack Theodore and his small digimon. Thus, Erumina rushed over to where the raven haired boy stood with his demi veemon. If anything happened, Gatomon could help out. She was also sure that Kiro would protect them too.
"Yes, Meramon. Please do not attack." She started, the words flowing gracefully from her lips. "Violence is not the answer!"

The walk to the camp was uneventful, which was somewhat surprising to Kutay, but he figured it might just be because no one had much to talk about with the others so they stayed in their little pair and kept mostly to themselves.
When the group finally stopped, it was after a couple hours of walking, which Kutay did not enjoy, but he tried to just keep the pain in his feet hidden and rest when he had the chance to. After having rested for what felt like a very short time, Kutay was interrupted by Royce's somewhat annoying southern accent announcing that they had "company" approaching from the east, and as Kutay turned to face them, he was almost certain he knew what they were before they even got close. "Meramon." He said quietly to himself, although it wasn't like it was much of a secret that if they were to be meeting any fire digimon here they would most likely be Meramon. As he watched the smoke rising off them coming down the mountain, he prepared to fight them, "C'mon Dorumon, get out here, you might not be bored with this." Kutay said as he held up his digivice and released Dorumon from it.
"What Kutay, I was pleasantly napping..." Dorumon started to say and then saw the reason that he had been released from his rather enjoyable slumber and instantly understood Kutay's reasoning that they were probably in for a fight.
As Dorumon took in the scene, Kutay noticed that Royce wasn't with the rest of the group, and that he was running away to hide behind a boulder in an attempt to, as it seemed hide from the fighting that was soon to come. This angered Kutay as Royce had been very boasting that he was a second in command in the DRF, however Kutay put his distaste for Royce on the backburner and decided that he wasn't even worth thinking about right now.

The brown haired teen calmly walked along with the group, watching the surrondings and occasionally picking up snow and tossing it back down. He was getting bored of walking, well. Of walking without talking as he headed that way, thats what he gets for being to Shy to say anything. He looked to the 'Leader' of the group as he spoke now. " You wont get paid if you fail the Mission though." He thought to himself,letting out a long sigh.
As hours passed Ethan eventually slowed to the back of the group, he had to adjust the bandages on his arms along with let Chuumon eat him a little bit of a chocolate bar. "This is your breakfest for now, all I have is a few Jolly Ranchers right now."And thats when crap hit the fan and he heard Royce yell out about some enemies started to show up. His ears twitched and he looked up to where he had been looking and said," Thats a lot of Meramon. Why are they here though?" He cocked his head curiously and then noticed the leader had been sneaking away. He slowly blinked saying,"That was unexpected, I figured hed fight at least since he was talking so big.Chuumon,do you wanna try talking to them?" He began to walk,Chuumon climbing onto his Tamers head and rubbing its chin. It wasnt sure just yet.

After learning Royce was unworthy of Haru's majestic presence he became completely irrelevant and he ceased to exist within Haru's mind. It was as if he were completely gone and Haru could care less about that idiot. The group was split between the choice of peace with the Meramon or a conflict resulting in possible casualties. Haru didn't need to hesitate on her answer, "All aboard for violence!" Haru was never a peaceful person to begin with, a stalker always needed their fangs out at every moment in case a prey appeared and this was no different. If Haru chose peace she'd essentially be giving up those fangs. Her pride as a stalker relied on her ability to destroy things senselessly. She hoped the others in the group weren't peace loving fools and wanted senseless violence because that was the only path Haru knew."C'mon my fellow tamers, let us raise our fists and punish the naughty Meramon with acts of violence!" Truth be told, Haru just really wanted to kill something. She could care less about the mission at hand and only wanted to create turmoil. She began to laugh hysterically and seemed to have become insane.
Theodore walked holding Demi Veemon in his arms, sliding out a piece of bread Theo and Demi munched on it. Rubbing his eyes he could feel the coldness, but he didn't care any more. Demi looked up at Theo and smiled, "Theodore are we almost their?" He asked curiously as Theo smiled down at him "Don't know, guess we will have to wait." He said as he continued to walk.
After a while he walked holding demi veemon, everything seemed to go dizzy and woozy as Meramon was sprinting towards the group to attack. Picking up Demi-Veemon Theo began shouting, "You don't have to attack, we want to be your friend! We don't want to cause issues!" He said holding Demi-Veemon tightly as he stepped in the path of the Meramon and clinched his eyes, "We just want to be your friend!" Demi Veemon shouted as he clinched his eyes shut along with Theo.

After hearing Crystals plan he said "Okay we'll do your plan Chrystal. Bel! Yukki! Be ready for anything. Elexae, stay put. we go with peace until something happens." Yukki and Bel took defensive positions between the two tamers and the oncoming meramon.

The group Meramon have finally reached the camp. Luckily each tamers has choose a role to fulfill in this raid. The twelve Meramon started to spread out. Preparing to attack. The snow under them started to melt. Royce and Chuumon were completely safe from the fight. Both are in a fetal position as the battle is about to begin.
It is now time to Fight or Make Peace! You each have made a choose on what you will do. But be warned, if you change your decision any time during this fight, you will get a penalty later on. The following Tamers have chosen the following.

Roll two 12-sided dice, The first dice will be probability of success and the second dice will be how many it will affect. RP your role and the reactions of the Meramon.
To battle! - Get a 7 or higher on your first dice make your attack successful. Your second Dice will be used as how many Meramon were hit. If you roll a 12 on the first Dice, It will bit a critical hit deleting the number of Meramon you rolled on the second roll. ----------------------- Make peace! - Get a 10 or higher on your first dice make your persuasion successful. Your second Dice will be used as how many Meramon have calmed down. If you roll a 12 on the first Dice, It will bit a critical hit making the number of Meramon you rolled on the second roll retreat.
As the meramon drew closer, Drake put his hands up and yelled " hey would you slow down, it looks like you are trying to kill us!". In the middle of his sentence a fireball whizzed past his face, almost burning him. "HEY THAT COULDVE HIT ME YA MORONS!"Drake yelled as he looked where the fire ball landed, when he looked back at the meramon he could tell they weren't going to be peaceful. Hey, Drake you thin we should go check on crystal and skylar? they might need our help! said the floramon hiding behind him, "uh yah, lets do that. Yukki! follow me!" Drake yell as he grabbed the floramon and started sprinting towards crystal.
Kutay spared no time in beginning the battle, he figured if he struck quickly he might be able to catch them off guard and deal some good damage without much chance of retaliation, and that is exactly what he planned to do as he took out his digivice. "Dorumon, Digivolve" Kutay said as his digivice began glowing with energy that would allow Dorumon to Digivolve.
Dorumon had a toothy grin as he saw that Kutay was digivolving him, although it made sense as there was like no possible way for a rookie to take on 12 champions, so being digivolved definitely helped even the odds a little. "Dorumon, digivolve too...Dorugamon." Dorumon, the now Dorugamon said as he changed from his rookie stage to his champion stage of evolution. The change was very visible too, going from being about the size of a dog to being big enough for maybe 1 or 2 people of decent size to ride on him, and most noticeably he had wings and looked considerably more like a feral beast than he did in his rookie stage. Stretching his wings and getting used to the feel of them only took him a few moments as he knew that in order to stay in the fight he would have to move fast, so he quickly took flight and prepared to attack the group of Meramon, however he was in such a hurry and absorbed in this fight that he had forgotten Kutay back on the ground. This didn't bother Kutay however as he was slightly afraid of flying, knowing the dangers that could come with it, especially in a heated battle like this. As Dorugamon reached a decent height, he began to decide how he would attack the group, he quickly decided he should try and weaken them all quickly, which may hurt their morale and make them easier to deal with in general, but he wouldn't be able to inflict any truly serious wounds, but he felt the trade off was worth it. "Power Metal." Dorugamon said as he fired a metal sphere at the Meramon, and it was succesful, and Dorugamon launched 2 more into the group, causing some noticeable damage, and when they tried to launch fireballs back at him, he dodged them easily, since he had more than enough time to notice and evade, even though his mobility was slightly hampered by the cold environment.
With all that happened Kutay felt a little useless, but then he realized that as a tamer all he could do was watch, he didn't have any way to assist his partner when he fought, except maybe to cheer him on, however Kutay had know this for a long time and it didn't bother him too much as Dorugamon was fully capable of handling himself.
Theodore jumped up and down, "We don't have to fight! Come on! Lets all be friends!" DemiVeemon said as no one seemed to listen. Theodore screamed holding DemiVeemon and jumping up and down. "Come on! We want to be friendly not fight! WHY CAN'T WEE BE FRIENDS! WHY CAN'T WE BE FRIENDS!" Theo sung as Demi-Veemon sung as well.

Haru was anxious for a fight, however Fanbeemon still didn't agree completely on fighting. Fanbeemon was a peace loving Digimon and rather negotiate rather than fight, but he was obligated to follow Haru's orders. Fanbeemon was materialized from Haru's digivice and immediately felt the temperature drop. Fanbeemon wanted to run back inside the digivice, but Haru gave Fanbeemon the command to stay out and fight. The Meramon began to charge at Haru and Fanbeemon causing Fanbeemon to freeze stiff. Haru had no others words for the cowardly Fanbeemon and ordered Fanbeemon to use 88 Call and cause the Meramon to stop. This summoned a swarm of mini Fanbeemon to simply prevent the Meramon from moving. It caused no damage, but it gave enough time for Haru to think.
The brown haired teen had stopped walking and he put Chuu down onto the ground before he tried to talk to the Meramon, he said slowly," We arent looking for a figh..." Before he finished his sentence fireballs were being thrown at him and Chuu, they began to dodge around them." Ah! No. Dont.Burn me bro ! !!" the little digimon cried out, Ethan got wide eyes not expecting sudden fire like that."Whoa now! Take it easy!"
Kiro scanned the area seeing what the others were planning to do. It seems that the majority of the group don't want to fight this out. But there were two others that wanted to fight. Kiro smiled. "Three versus twelve? Sounds fun!" Loke started to run into the middle of the all the Meramons and let our a loud roar. His roar taunted taunted some of the Meramon to chase him. Kiro snapped his fingers. "OK guys I'll give the signal! Just stand still and wait." He said. DynamoPlug and Loke nodded and stood their ground. DynamoPlug let go of Loke's mane. Four Meramon started to charge towards the two Digimon. Both started to hesitate but still remained calm. "Kiro..." DynamoPlug said silently as he closed his eyes. The Meramon were now inchs away from the two Digimon getting ready for a Heat Knuckle attack. Kiro clenched both his fists and his eyes widen. "NOW!" He yelled at the top of his lungs. DynamoPlug opened his eyes and leaped off of Loke's back and spun in the air. Suddenly the ground around Loke started to shake. He let out a loud roar creating a blinding light. "THUNDER OF KING!" DynamoPlug then started shooting missiles that looked like the mouse icon on a computer. "Pointer Arrow!" Each missile got hit by Loke's attack making them each explode. The effects looked like a fireworks show. When the explosion ended, DynamoPlug landed back on Loke's back. He then gripped Loke's mane as they escaped from the scene to get to the next Meramon Cluster. The Meramon were not phased at all from the attack since Loke didn't charge his attack and DynamoPlug's didn't even connect. But they were crippled. the four Meramon were blinded and couldn't move because they got paralyzed. Kiro sighed. "Maybe next time you should charge your attack up next time." He commented to Loke. It wasn't what Kiro expected but it still worked so now the other two can have a chance at taking them down.

Erumina was not at all fazed by the advanving Meramon. Instead, she continued to speak, her gentle voice growing steadier and more confident with each word. She was in her element -- fighting was never her forte, diplomatic reasoning was. After all, why use violence and cause pain when one can use reason to make peace?
"Meramon, please stop!" she called out once more at the fire based digimon. Beside her, Theodore and his demi-devimon continued to yell words of persuasion. "Destruction will only bring pain -- to both the villages and to yourselves. We do not want to attack you, we only want to talk!"
A look of relief graced Erumina's features as she noticed two of the advancing Meramon slow down before coming to a stop. Her words seemed to have registered with them, and they nodded slightly, as if considering the logic in her persuasion. However, the other Meramon continued to walk closer and closer, fire balls glowing and floating in the hands. Indeed, both her and Gatomon would have been burnt toast (pun intended?) had it not been for the other digimon tamers, who managed to paralyze quite a few number of the Meramon.
Erumina looked down at her partner, her lips pulled into a thin line. "Prepare to fight, Gatomon. I managed to persuade a few digimon, but..."
