Name: Mordecai | Uncert | Cert | Meaning: Hebrew | "little man" | Tribe: Earth Kingdom/Colony: Relationship Status: Unbond Personality: Mordecai, is a bruding loner. He is perfectly content to be left alone, sleeping in a tree that resides in the plains. Unmotavated, he consideres any effort to be rather 'bothersome'. It isn't that he lacks commitement, but rather the drive to have such a thing. He is a capible Tahtil, just one that needs something or SomeB'alam that would give him drive or purpose. It take a lot to anger this, proud and lazy boy-simply because it takes too much effort to get angry-and if it doesn't accomplish anything it's a waste of time in his mind. Tis also the reason he is so unmotavated, if it doesn't impact something 'important' to him, it's not worth bothering with.
Plots? • None as of yet. Rp Temperment: Difficult. Simply because he isn't really friendly. One would have to really strive to be around him, and not be driven off by him. Colorist: Ririka Obtained by: Freebie quote in Main Thread.
Theme Song(s): TBD

Mordecai | Basic Info | Family Tree | Idol | Cub | Adult | Magus | Timeline | Photo Album | Relations | Tribe Info | Magus Spell(s) | (Gray Color indicates at not learned) The Earth Tribe ||
••• Rock ||
◘ Stone's Throw || Stone's throw is exactly what it sounds like. Stones are the main channel of this spell. They are commanded by the B'alam. The magus chooses a target and shifts the gravity of the boulder towards that target and away from where it stands. This results in the stone being launched as a projectile towards the target. Stone's throw can be used on multiple stones at once, so long as the collected weight is not beyond what a magus can physically lift. This ability can be applied to manipulate sand as well, since sand is essentially a collection of tiny pebbles. This spell may be favorable towards Magus who dwell in the desert or rocky mountain ranges.
◘ Stone Cleaver || The magus commands the stone to break and the stone shatters at their command. Essentially, the magus changes the composition of the stone. A mighty boulder can be reduced to sand at the magus' command. This takes about the amount of energy that it would take to shatter a stone with a sledgehammer. The larger the stone, the more blows it would take- the magus will feel the exhaustion of however many blows it would take to shatter the stone. Magus generally will use this ability to carve paths through mountains and mine for precious ore. Because of this, magus that live in the mountains generally favor this skill.
◘ Stone Shaper || The magus commands the stone to reshape itself. Essentially, the magus' spirit is like a sculptor. Depending on the medium, or the focus of this spell, it could take a lot of energy or a little. Softer material will work like clay where as harder material will work like marble. The energy that the magus expels is the equivalent of the collected energy of the sculptor over however long it would take for them to carve a masterpiece. A sculptor would take decades to carve a mountain, so it would likely crush the spirit of a Magus to attempt to reshape an entire mountain. A boulder would make them feel as if they'd just run for a few hours, and a smaller target would take less energy. This is a tricky skill to place exactly, but the more artistic B'alam or those that wish to build fine structures will value this skill highly.
◘ Earth Raiser || The magus draws the earth around them and forms a hill under their paws. Think of this as forming a pillar of stone under their paws to reach a higher elevation or, perhaps, to provide the bones of a future architecture structure. Think of this as a man with a shovel digging up the ground around him and making a dirt pile. The magus does this in one shot and the collected energy it would take to dig the earth and form the pile is the energy it takes from the magus in a few moments. This skill is another one that would likely find universal use for building structures.
••• Plantlife ||
◘ Tree Shepherd || The magus commands the trees around them to move. They command the branches to swing, sway, and the trunks to twist and bend. They pour their soul into a nearby tree and can manipulate it the way a puppeteer would. While the name specifies trees, the spell can extend to things such as vines or shrubs, but they're each their own puppets and they could grow tangled as well. Obviously, this takes focus. If they stretch themselves too thin, the 'strings' become tangled and the magus could loose their mind trying to sort the tangle left behind. Sometimes this could take months to do. This is a spell favored by jungle and forest-dwelling B'alam.
◘ Grower || One of the more simple spells but it's perhaps one of the most useful. The way a farmer pours water onto his field, a magus pours a bit of their spiritual energy into plantlife to make it grow faster, stronger, more vibrant, or more fruitful. A magus could, in theory, make a sapling grow into a full sized tree but the effort would be like the collected effort of a farmer watering, weeding, watching, and preening a tree for as long as it took to grow all hitting the magus at once. Most magus will give a little bit of themselves at a time to a collection of small plants to help a crop grow faster or to produce more crops. They could use this ability to make a single plant grow within the span of a few moments, but it is exhausting. This talent is highly valued among the farming communities.
••• Herbology ||
◘ Venomous || The b'alam can draw toxins into their bodies from plantlife and store it safely inside. They can spit this toxin out or infuse it into their blood as a part of their being. This talent, obviously, is exceedingly dangerous. Just as someone can build up an immunity to a poison by drawing small amounts in, the Magus must do the same thing. If they draw too much, they could damage themselves. Once their bodies are used to this toxin, however, they can become as terrible as cobras. The magus cannot carry multiple toxins within them and not suffer ill effects. Mixing toxins could do more harm than good so they will need to keep to one effect to maintain safety within themselves.
OOC Note Toxins extracted from plants can have a variety of effects- please try to use real plants as your basis of toxins if you choose this spell! We understand this is an alien world but we don't want any god-moding.
◘ Earth Healer || Just as some plants can bring pain, others can bring healing. Magus who choose earth's healing can draw the beneficial effects of plants into their bodies. Some do this go allow themselves better health, awareness, or in-general longivity. However, they are able to store the beneficial chemicals within their body to assist others as well. They can extract this chemical from themselves through their pores, blood, or saliva to offer to others. Yes, it can be a little gross, but most will use their bodies to purify the healing elements of a plant then secrete the chemicals into bottles to use as healing potions. Think of their bodies as a filter of sorts. Just like with the toxins, the B'alam that choose this spell can really only successfully carry the effects of one plant within them.
