Can someone mail me a link to recolor.me?

Same for me as well, please. I truly feel as though I'm done with Gaia. I'll be here long enough to fulfill the obligations I've made for charity (with PITIFUL results for sponsorship) and then I think I'm done. In the interim, I think this recolor.me site sounds like the best place to land because I just can't stand Gaia anymore.

Mine too. I just absolutely hate what Gaia has become, and it just gets worse with every passing day. I've already lost most all of my friends that have been here for years, and the few that remain rarely log in now. It's only this guild and you, my dear friend, that have kept me here this long and now I'll be here for the charity, of course. Perhaps something will change by then, but the truth is, I have no hope left for anything of the sort. Parting will be an incredibly hard thing to do, but unless there really is some kind of change with Gaia, I'm not going to keep putting myself through the heartache and frustration with the slow death of the site I used to love but have come to despise.

I just went and got accounts and spent a good half hour on each, making an avatar and some forum posts.

Syndrone is too fake-edgy, and the UI is painfully awkward. The avatars are pretty good, but the whole site feels like you're on an emo kid's myspace.

Ernya was what I thought was going to be ahead, because it feels a lot like older Gaia when you log in (NPCs guide you, the forum set up is pretty similar. If you guys are looking for a really gentle transition and not to get really into something, I'd say go for Ernya. The avatars are a little hard to look at, but not terrible.

Solia is depressing. It's not bad. The avatars are a little...weird. The forum nav is a little old-school. The people seem friendly enough. It really does feel like something trying to fill Gaia's spot though, if that makes sense. By the time I made it here, I was sort of feeling hopeless.

BUT RECOLOR.

OHMYGOSH RECOLOR.

It feels like GoGaia.
The avatars are by far the cutest and least deviantart-pixel-doll-ish
It's on the ground floor, and it's got my hopes up damn high.

The forum is rockin' right now, and it's adorable.

Recolor is the clear victor and I can't tell you guys how excited you should be about it.

I agree, I find it full of elitists. I went there looked through the site and went to their SF to make suggestions to improve the UI. Instead of thinking about the suggestions to improve it all I got was a bunch of people bitching at me that their site doesn't need to be changed.
