I haven't read Genbu Kaiden, though I'd like to. =]
@Yofiel: Nakago x ASHITARE? That's a... new... one. *coughs*
Ah, who wasn't disappointed when Nuriko didn't get with Hotohori? It would have been so much better if they had. *shakes head*
Yes, Tamahome is SO Nakago's b***h. XD

Yofiel [ I s a ] Oh, I'm not saying the PLOT of FY was good. It was completely crap. And I really didn't like Miaka... she's was so whiny, and annoying. I did think some of the other characters were good, though. (*cough*NAKAGO*cough*) Tamahome... was for the most part good, but it annoyed me the way every chapter he had to give make some big romantic speech to Miaka. Also, the amount of people who were in love with Miaka was just ridiculous. She turns the gay straight, for God's sake! Omg I know gonk Miaka makes me sad. Its like, they tried to give her every possible good/cute quality they could, then tried to level her out by flawing her with unbelievable fragility (I mean come ON. she spends half the series either in tears or being thrown onto beds/against walls by men >.>)
It's like every chapter she has to get "raped" some way or another. Or how she turned gay men straight and whatnot.
And how she's gotten with every single character known to mankind and then some.
If you stuck in her in the middle of Naruto or Wolf's Rain, I'de laugh. xd

Yes, Tamahome is SO Nakago's b***h. XD Yeah >.> it was worse when he ends up marrying a girl who looks EXACTLY LIKE HIM D: (I swear thats just messed up. >.< it gave me the impression poor Hoto was actually in love with him, but being the emporer and all, had to have a son, so he compensated by finding a girl who was his excact double...O__o) For some reason I like Ashtere. I cant help but feel sorry for him, and I'v always seen him as the kind of character who is only evil because of unfortunate circumstances (much like Yui, Amiboshi and Suboshi) and would probably be very different where we amongst the Suzaku or something... Yeah, NakaxAsh ^_^; they give off almost the same weird vibe as NakaxTama. Only poor Ashtere is more submissive... And the way I see it, Tama is Everyones b***h rolleyes

She also tries to kill herself WAY too often. You know, you would have thought that if she wanted too THAT BADLY, she'd just stab herself, rather than taking off all her clothes (which she HAS to do at LEAST once every book) and swimming into a pond, only to be saved by Hotohori/Tamahome. ><

Like in the manga (forget which one), Hotohori had to possess Tama to talk to his son, and they made it look like he was going to kiss him. And with Chichiri, Tama had to get purified by Chi-chan and he looked like he was going to give him a hickey on his neck. gonk heart
And then Tama was Nuriko's b***h in the starting of the series, then he gave him to Nakago to toy around with for the rest. xD
And as for Tasuki, volume seventeen all the way. XD Tamahome was joking about Tasuki doing him into the ground TWICE. Then, when they were in the water, Tasuki was clinging onto Tama because he couldn't swim.
And don't get me started on Tomo. XD Kinky feather things... *giggles*

XD Kinky feather things... *giggles* pretty Ironic isnt it? considering he and Miaka are supposed to be the only actual pairing that lasts...( Yui doesnt get a guy until the last minute, same as Hoto, the twins both die after suffering much unrequited love, Tasu and Chiri both live, but neither have anyone(even though they come pretty close to looking like a couple XD) Mitskake's girlfriend is dead, Chiriko is too young to really fall in love, Asthere has nobody, Nuriko has nobody, Soi... Gets to have a physical thing with Naka for a while, but ultimately it doesnt really work... And Nakago himself... Well he makes everyone his b***h then dies XD) Is it just me or does every popular anime have at least one character who gets whored off to everyone in the show in one way or another? from GW we have Duo (I know, with GW pretty much every pairing has fans, but most of the popular ones involv Duo o_O) Inuyasha has... well, Inuyasha, Naruto has Sasuke (I'm certain I even saw a SasuIru once D: ) in Gravi we have Shuichi... Tomo was...weird. I was never really sure what to think of him >.> (Though yeah, the feather thing was pretty...interesting XD)

I must say, Watase amped up the yaoi once hittng the double digits in the manga. eek
Though I always loved the scene where Nakago whipped Tamahome into submission. xD
That just screamed "BONDAGE! BOOOOOONDAAAGE!!"
