Aisa was staring pointedly at Charon, Death and Thera.
Especially Thera.
Meanwhile, Aisa decided to drape herself over Connie's simmering form. Being together for so long, she recognized that Death had this way of grating on one's nerves, his power and position was more than enough to do so. But his personality didn't help, especially with the other clans-- That's why the elder riders had always been a mediator.
But they could no longer mediate.
"Connie darling, your murderous intent's going to spark an explosion in this room soon, if you keep burning holes in Death's clothes. I'll be the first to tell you, theres not much underneath to burn. "

Invi let out a rather inaudible sound when Aisa draped herself over his shoulders. It likely attracted quite a bit of wildlife, however. It was like poking a cat that was on the edge of potentially turning into a hissing angry fit. Only it was more of a fizzle of rage.
It would ignite itself again when he was done keeping himself from speaking through his teeth.
"We're sure that explosion would keep you busy for months cleaning up the aftermath..." he answered, but remained rather intent on trying to destroy Death with his mind.

Kiwi nodded wordlessly, and leaned back. It was not a straight answer, but it was an answer. If Fear was the opposite of Joy, then Insanity was ...
But that seemed too simple. And the young colt had an overwhelming sense that Death was not one to bare truths. He crossed his arms, rubbing at them almost methodically as he tried to focus beyond the grey murmurs.
He scowled. This was becoming difficult.

Mmur had been relieved to receive the mysterious summons for reasons beyond the obvious. Sure, he was still compelled to serve his people and would have been delighted to attend any event put together by his superiors, but he had also been in the middle of a very loud and embarrassing argument when the horseman of War had interrupted, and it was comforting to have a legitimate excuse not to continue with all of that unpleasantness at the moment. He had no doubt the topic of discussion would come up again, but maybe by that time he would be better equipped to defend his argument. Probably not.
By the time he had reached the crater, the conversation between Death and the rest of his brethren was well underway. Mmur liked Death, as well as anyone could really like a demigod, and he listened to the tail end of the Ancient's last words with a series of nods that hopefully made it look like he knew what was going on.
"What's going on?" he asked the nearest horsewoman, whispering out of the corner of his mouth as he slipped into a seat next to her.
Yeah, she asked Death out. Go all out, go big or go home, plus he was pretty classy. Its not like she wanted to become you new mom or anything Aisa geez.
Let the adults have a bit of fun.

I think there is a special place in hell for me. Due to blingee, and just using them in RPs like this.

Khetyn was glad for this summons as it was something besides doing so very little, idle hands were driving Khetyn bonkers. Since she really didn't trust those Halloweener that were watching them all the time as Khetyn didn't really want to give some of her secrets of her craft to them and a lack tools also didn't help either.
Quietly standing there as Khetyn's wings fidgeting a little as she listened to all of what Lord Death was saying. Currently she didn't have a distortion crystal yet but she would gladly give up that crystal with no qualms since Khetyn trusted Lord Death fully and if gave her something to do even better. Currently she couldn't think of any questions to ask so she mostly stood there quietly.

"I'm worried about that too..." Ying said, thick frown pasting across her face. "I mean ... isn't this all so ... convenient? If there was a way back home, even temporarily, why didn't Medea tell us about it ..." She shook her head, as though pushing the thought out of sight and out of mind. "No, I suppose it doesn't matter. There is no reason to be so distrustful, I will follow Death! I am sure he is doing the right thing."
At the mention of smell, Ying crinkled her nose in disdain. She was still a Conquest pony after all, however chipper she was. "One must not discuss personal hygiene in public, Eitri. It's unrefined."

Honestly, Bao Yu was just very confused. She had missed everything up until now. Quizzing Lifen would definitely have to come soon. Biting down on her lip a little more, she stayed close to the slightly smaller sister of hers as questions flew at the two.
She felt like she should be taking notes on all of this. Her fingers itched for a pen and paper in her hands to jot these things down. She leaned closer to her sister to whisper to her. "I have no idea what's going on... Care to try to fill me in?"
For once, Tseng was being pretty quiet during all of this. He was listening, thinking, trying to figure out what all of this meant. It would certainly be nice to be able to return to their islands, but it did have a bit of a price. It was also a gamble for that matter, as Death said it wasn't quite a guarantee that this would work. They may end up losing their distortion crystals for good and have nothing come out of it in return!
He felt torn. What would a horsemen hero do in such a situation?

Yves was just about done with his task in the Human world when the summon brought by another of his clan reached him. He had wasted no time in making his way swiftly to the place where the meeting was to be held in Halloween Town, sitting himself down just as Death began to address all of them. The Lost Clans? For a fleeting moment there, the War Executioner wondered if he had found his way to the wrong meeting, his gaze gleaning over the faces of the others present to see if he could locate the War messenger or anyone from his clan who looked remotely familiar to him. Nope.
The image of what was once their home land had his full attention next, an unreadable expression on his face as he shifted into a more comfortable position with a soft grunt that hinted at the annoyance that was developing in him at his own ignorance of their current situation. If this was something of great importance threatening their very own existence, why hadn't anyone saw fit to inform those among them like him, who were out on a given task or for another reason altogether, immediately?
This was not the time or place for such a confrontation. He reminded himself promptly lest he let his temper get the better of him, observing and listening to the exchange of words that followed when Death opened the discussion to the floor to take any questions that they might have. He wasn't sure if he understood everything that Death had brought up in their entirety, his mind hard at work with processing every bit of information that was available before he eventually came up with a few questions of his own.
"If it is indeed as you've said that Distortion can be used to counter Insanity, what comes after we've handed over our Distortion crystals to you then? What if the Insanity overwhelms us thereafter? Is there some form of temporizing measure in place to ensure that we will not succumb to it when we no longer are in possession of the Distortion with which to stave off its effects?" If Insanity was as deadly as Death and most of the others were making it out to be, he certainly wanted to know everything about it if at least to ensure that no more of them would fall given their already small number. And that was after assuming that all of those present were what remained of all four clans.

Eitri gave a shrug. "Maybe Medea doesn't have the utmost confidence in the idea. She probably didn't want to take the risk. Or shy away from getting revenge on the Hunters."
Then he laughed and rubbed a fist on her head, messing up her hair. "And when have I ever worried about being refined?"

"Eitri!" Ying scolded, her voice in a low whisper. "You mustn't talk about Miss Medea in such a way!" It could warrant attention and the last thing Ying wanted was that kind of attention. No, she wasn't going to be marked as a troublemaker thank you very much.
She screeched as the knuckles tapped against her scalp. "Stop this instant! Ooooh please stop it hurts very much! I do not like this treatment!"

Another shrug and he swapped his feet around on the back of the chair, the bottom one starting to fall asleep. His hand uncurled and he smoothed her now frazzled hair in a rather awkward manner.
He gave a grunt. "As long as there's a big party after it's successful I'm okay with it. And as long as no one gets hurt or lost," he might have cast a worrying look her way.

Guowei was still trying to grasp the concept of the new Four Clans - how they had changed their name after losing their home, and relocated to a shared space within Halloween - when he was invited to a meeting that seemed very important... While he was admittedly a little starstruck by Death, he was also exasperated with the fact that he would soon have to unlearn everything he had learnt about the Lost Clans since his recent arrival.
... But as his parents always said, the elders know best, right?
Due to his uncertainty on the topic of insanity and distortion, the Noble hung back, taking the chance to listen to the concerns of others as well as Death's explanations; perhaps he would understand this topic a little more after this discussion.
Erintis had been shying away from the others for some time now after seeing what had happened whenever they all seemed to get together there was that insanity and now something different. The idea of not knowing what any of it was, was driving her mad and so she sat in her room documenting everything. But that also meant she sat in her room without contact with anyone else.
So when the summons came she almost ignored it. But thought better about a summons coming from so high up. Packing her bag she found a spot far enough away but still close enough to hear every last word. She would soon enough ask her questions but only when she felt confident enough to address the head priestess and lord death.
