The term is also somewhat derrogatory. The same as Otaku, which means 'excessive fan'.

'Tentacles' refers to tentacle-rape/sex( think of an octopus sweatdrop )and what-not. It's mostly seen in hentai, a good example is the anime series Urotsukidoji.
