Moana peered into the room, not shyly, no...stealthily. Make sure the coast is clear, then go! The Naiad burst into the room, giggling to herself and rather comfortable after all her secret time practicing using these silly 'land feet'. For some reason, her parents had seemed rather adamant about her not coming to this party...why? Parties were fun! And since this one was for adults only, it had to mean there was all kinds of neat, grown-up fun to be had, right? Her parents were probably just trying to 'protect' her or some such...which translated to ruining all her fun usually.

Over the crowd, a couple of brightly-colored, familiar individuals caught her attention, and Moana grinned in response. Oh, boy, Toli and Zo-Zo were here! She was sure she could find some mischief to get into now...and drag her brothers along, whether they liked it or not.

That time of year again.

Himeros let his eyes wander over the heads of milling Pae'il, pausing once in a while to let a lecherous smirk cross his face. Ah, so many lovely figures, twisting, turning, bumping, and jostling about. The fragrance of sweet treats hung heavy on the air, and the subtle tones of music danced at the edge of one's perception.

It was like prime hunting ground for a very specialized predator.

A dangerous glint began shine from the warm-hued Erote's cobalt eyes, and he shook his head, eyes closed for a moment, before returning to his usual passive, almost-bored gaze. Urgh. He knew his mother wanted them all to make an appearance at these 'festivities' of hers, but really...he could think of so many other ways he could be spending his time.

So many more enjoyable ways to pass the time.

Artemis entered the party warily, all the caution of a lone hunter surrounding her as she stepped into the ballroom. Her hoofsteps were light, almost delicate, on the marble flooring, and one had the feeling that if she had wanted to, she'd have made no sound at all.

She'd heard rumors that the hostess of this party was...a deity, if she had heard correctly? As well as her sons, if she was to understand her sources. How intriguing. The goddess of the hunt had believed she might be the only one of her kind on this Isle, but to imagine their might be others of her kindred that had made their way here? Well, she just had to investigate.

Why was he here again..He shouldn't be here. He didn't WANT to be here...But everything was gone after all. His come got destroyed and life suddenly became a lot harder. He had spent so long just trying to make a livable place to stay and finding food was just as hard...So free food and, more importantly, BOOZE...Well he just had to come. He needed a drink, badly.

Thaddeus scanned the room for a moment before settling near the food. He was hungry after all.

Zeme leaned against the nearest wall and just watched the others, not really wanting to join them. The thought of SOME company was nice and the food was a plus after all. Times were rough and everyone needed something to look forward to...This was the only think to look forward to now. It was something after all.

Sadron backed into a corner and kept a watchful eye on the other pae. He was tensed and ready, lest there be any treachery from the airbreathers.

... His corner was next to the buffet, of course. He snickered, tossing a cocktail shrimp into his mouth.

Bronson chugged his mug of ale, shuffling clumsily on the dancefloor. His gut wiggled, as did his tush. Partying was for letting loose, of course.

'Party party party party!' The pink Pae pretty much jumped around as she looked over the area. There were so many Pae here already and OH! That one had a first tail but fairy wings! What was with that? It was SO COOL! There were so many already here and more were going to come this was just so exciting! Maybe someone wanted to dance with her? Dancey Dancey!

Care had come with her 'brother' to this gathering. She watched the pink, strawberry smelling Pae seemingly dance around and laughed a little. 'So what do you think? Seems fun...'

'It's...Ok..Free food. Everyone seems to be excited about that...We do need it after all. I think it's more everyone is just happy to have somewhere to gather and not think about what's happened.' Blizz ran a hand through his hair. Everyone had been working so hard. 'It's a nice change, that's for sure...Come on Care, let's go eat.'

Ocie blinked, looking at the bouncing pae. Feathered wings, that meant she was not only a land pae, but an angel. He tilted his head a bit, he knew he was a cross of a land pae and a water pae, but that didn't mean he understood much of what they did. He always thought himself more a naiad than anything.

"Excuse me.. Do you want to dance?" Ocie asked of Fraise, bowing over his elaborate fins. His red eyes looked up at her, a smirk playing on his lips. This would be the best way to forget about that wonderful queen he'd been watching lately. And what better a way to forget than to indulge in pretty women?

Dementia Requiem Asumi

Fraise seemed a little shocked the neat looking male had come to talk to her, let alone ask her to dance. She nodded her head and fluttered her wings excitedly. 'Yes I'd love to dance!' Her excitement made her smell strongly of strawberries.

He tried not to let the sudden assault of scent throw off his game, a smile remaining on his face. It wasn't that strawberries smelled unpleasant, it was that he hadn't been expecting her to flutter her wings and remind him of a fruit.

"Shall we then?" He offered her a hand, going to escort her to the dancing area. The music was just starting up as he asked, as if it was meant for them. "I think that's our cue." Ocie smirked, red eyes on hers.

Fraise smiled and gladly took his hand, letting him lead her to the dance floor. She giggled lightly as he spoke and started to move in a playful manner. 'So what brings you here? I'm sure you'll be asked that a lot.' She smiled to him. 'I'm Fraise, by the way.'

It was finally here! A party where she could be al...Lira looked over to the side of her and sighed, alright scratch that, she couldn't be alone, she had a pain in the a** fawn next to her, a faun that was going to be sticking like glue to her for the full night because a mutual friend of theirs told him to and so now she was stuffed "can you PLEASE leave me alone?" She asked as she looked at the male she entered with, seeing him shake his head she groaned "fine, then come with me" she said as she dragged him over to the other side and pushed him into a hole in the bottom of a tree trunk and left him "now stay!" she said as she ran off to go mingle or get something to eat or whatever, as long as she could lose him that would be good.
