I tend to gain attractions to friends.
Crushed hard on a guy friend in like 8th grade to sophomore year in highschool.

So I got all female friends.

Then I got a male bff and it started to happen again, but we're adults and talked about it and nothing happened.

I feel like "crushes" are really irrational, unbased attractions, which is why a lot of people stop having them after high school (or feeding into them). You start to put more backbone to them when you mature.
