i'm playing a regular DS game on mine now. Not a single problem.
I play Age Of Empires on my 3DS and that is an OLD DS game.

So the graphics are not worse than on the DS for you?

Weird, because the DS games have a way lower resolution, resulting in either a very tiny image or a bad quality. For ALL DS games.

Compare it to the normal quality on any DS and you'll see what I mean.
It really sucks.

the only one i notice anything with was my explorers of sky. i play that alot. but i got used to it.

but i was playing my ds games on a lite with a cracked touch screen and dead pixels. anything is an upgrade.

i also love my 3ds, i'm on it now xD

I beat them the first time, but I still haven't managed it the second time because I'm underleveled and have the most horrifically unbalanced team ever. I have an almost completely Dark team (which is weird because I normally don't even use that type) that can sweep through the first three, but when it comes to the Fighting guy, he kills me. It is pretty freakin' embarrassing to be beaten by a blue rock in a martial arts uniform. gonk

its such a shock from the retarded gym leaders. The elite four actually know how to cover their obvious type weakness.

I'm still trying to figure out my last team member; because it's been driving me nuts that while I have utilized the PKRS to max out on potential stats to defeat the Elite Four, I need like, one more stronger member >C

my team is seriously, like...weak weak weak. Probably because I built a whole new team for every gym, catching new wild pokemon that they were conveniently super weak against right outside their door. (seriously, why surround yourself with pokemon youre weak against)

I'll probably just start over if I ever feel the need to.

If it is for the 3ds then it's a no go, but if it comes out for the ds then possibly.

Also I beat the E4 in white, the only issue I had was with the psychic chic.
My team is currently in the level 60 to 65 range, but I'm training other pokemon so that they'll evolve and fill my pokedex.

I mean, I just popped Ghost Trick into my DS, DSlite, DSi, and my 3DS (don't own DSi XL) and, honestly, I couldn't see a difference... cat_neutral

There is a big difference.

Start the game holding Start and Select on your 3DS and you'll see it in DS quality. 3nodding

I played black on my 3ds and noticed nothing? The only thing is the top screen is larger, but the game is still same size within the larger screen?

The only game I had that stretched to fit the entire screen was Avalon Code, and even then it wasn't a big deal/noticeable.
