I miss sleeping in like that. crying ******** school and morning classes.

Although now its having to open the store during the holidays. DX

And yeah, that is totally a breakfast food. XD I was just trying to figure out when it would be best for me to try it. lol

But every once in a while I crave a Salami and swiss cheese with mayo on white. Oh that is the best! I would eat it more often but my bread always goes to waste. I eat like 6 pieces and the rest gets trashed.

You know I am disappoint to find this is actual discussion about sandwiches.
You so lured me here on purpose. *gets out the cat o'nine tails*

Some of my favorite sandwiches...


Reuben: corned beef, saurekraut, swiss cheese, and thousand island dressing all between slices of rye bread and toasted. If I don't have corned beef, I'll sometimes make this with bratwurst and using different bread also.

Club Sandwich: I like the turkey varient, only with only one slice of bread. I won't ever order this one in a restaurant because eating three slices of bread in a sandwich is just gross.

Cucumber Sandwich: paper-thin slices of cucumber and cream cheese between two slices of crustless white bread.

Fried Fish Sandwich: battered & pan fried catfish, shredded cabbage, mayonnaise, horse radish and malt vinegar

Ice Cream Sandwich: I like to make these with vanilla ice cream and chocolate brownies. The ones you can by in the grocery store are all pretty disgusting.


I usually make bread myself at home as I have a bread machine that I use to do all the labor intensive part of bread making, then bake it in my oven. [Loaves tend to come out funny with a dent in the bottom plus things like ciabatta cannot be baked in the machine anyway.]


Oh and I saw a restaurant menu that had caprese salad as a sandwich that I want to try - fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, fresh basil and a balsamic vinagrette between bread.

My favorite thing to do with proscuitto is to use it when making beef wellington, but that's not a sandwich. Although beef wellington turned into a sandwich might be tasty.
