We're watching Puella Magi Madoka Magica and we just watched episode three.

This show takes a dark turn.

Does it ever.

It's got beautiful fight scenes, though, doesn't it?

I love the monsters.

I do too but with such a moe premise I didn't expect that.

I thought they would all become friends in the end. Guess not.

watched all of haruhi and lucky star, as well of toradora. enjoyed it, but slice of life is not my style.

I like some anime, but I have one issue with it.
I hate it when the characters gasp out loud and it's followed by excessive amounts of silence. Maybe it is a Japanese thing, but I find it irksome.
I love Supernatural, so I tried watching the anime. Having Jared (the actor of Sam) try to dub an anime was hilarious. He struggled so much with those anime gasps, you could just tell. Plus, the extensive silence seemed so weird compared to the normally fast paced live-action show. Even if there is silence in the show, there is always something going on. They are never frozen in place or if they are, you can tell something is up by their expressions.

I've also watched *FMA (both series), D. Gray-man, Fairy Tale, *Baccano, Durarara, *Mushishi, *Death Note, *Samurai Champloo and Kekkaishi; the asterisks denoting what I have finished.

I also love Avatar: The Last Airbender, even if it is not an anime. I think it's a lot better than a lot of anime and the pacing seems less awkward since it is written for an American audience and the culture gap in terms of communication (long silences, gasping, trembling and gasping) is a bit less jarring.

For the longest time I was one of those people who just HATED anime with a passion... but recently I watched Princess Jellyfish and my anime-hating heart grew three sizes that day. gonk Mayaya marry meeeeeee. <3

My other favorite anime series are Hakaba Kitaro, Gegege no Kitaro, Tenshi Ni Narumon and Crayon Shin Chan. lol I don't like many anime series. I could probably name more that I dislike. *coughElfenliedwhentheycryclannadluckystarcough* XD I tend to prefer manga to anime for some reason.

I've been meaning to get into Puella Magi Madoka Magica and Aoi no Exorcist.

The only aninime i've really been watching lately have been Persona 4 The Animation and DURARARA!!
