What do you want in a girlfriend? What kind of person?

Well I'm not entirely sure what "type" of girl I'm attracted to but I know that if they're manlier than me than that's a turn off. Since I have discovered I'm not attracted to someone more tomboy than me.

But personality and honesty is a huge thing with me. I have trust issues and I've been cheated on, lied to, and told stories countless times and I'm tired of that s**t.

So if a gal was interested in dating me in person, they'd have to be honest for one (so no bullshit or drama), kind and friendly, caring, and social (since I'm even more awkward when someone can't openly talk to me).

Since I'm not sure what exactly I'm attracted to looks isn't something I'm particular on, but in all honesty if they're taller and bigger than me, then I'm going to be really intimidated by them. For some odd reason I like to be the one that's taller and whatnot. I honestly don't know why.

I myself am tomboy and 5ft 8". I'm 21 and currently in college. I have short brunette hair (currently black with some slight red streaks) with hazelnut brown eyes with a tint of green. I'm Caucasian and I live in WA.

I'm a pretty busy college student so I haven't been on Gaia as of much lately. But I like to chat with people and whatnot so if they send me a message or comment I'll be sure to reply.

The chemistry between us would be nearly unbearable and just the touch of her brushing against my hand would be electrifying. She'd be gorgeous in my eyes, no matter what and each day I would find her more and more beautiful. I'd want her to have a sense of dominance but at the same time a gentle way about her. While shed treat everyone she cares about with caring she'd be different towards me, just enough so you'd know her feelings.

I've actually never dated anyone before, but only because I've been so careful not to get involved with the wrong kind of person. Hoepfully I'm not being totally unrealistic.

I prefer someone who is controlling...not in a master-to-slave kind of way but someone who can lead. I'm not looking for someone who is particularly funny, but I don't like pessimists either. Smiles are nice. I don't like slackers who always take the easy way out. Trust is a big issue with me. I don't expect her to always have me on her mind or always be by my side, but I don't want her to expect me to do the same. I put emphasis on alone time just as much as togetherness. I don't mind if she acts manly, girly, or over-the-top cute, but acting stupid or ignorant are traits I hate. Respect is also a HUGE issue to me. For me, for elders, figures of authority, and even those younger--respect, respect, respect.

As for appearances...I don't put much emphasis on it. Of course there are traits I find attractive (dark hair, darker skin tones, thin lips, small eyes), but I'd never hold someone's appearances against them. I don't usually find white people attractive (though there are definitely exceptions) even though I am white myself, but I would never hold race against someone. It mostly depends on who they are as a person.
