Abusive Mana I I find pregnancy disgusting And I'm not exactly looking forward to giving birth
OMG I am with you 110% on that one. I don't get the whole "pregnate women are beautiful" thing.

I'm 18 and my boyfriend is 23. I'm pregnant with our first child and we're both very excited. The only thing I dislike is not having gone to college yet (and he's currently in college) so we don't have the money we'd like to right now.

EmoXPickles_________x It's hard to say what age...I personally don't want children. But when I did I wanted them early, like 20. But all I can say is when your BOTH ready, not just when you are. I agree. You have to consider if you're ready, if he's ready, and if your lives are ready. Only when you're absolutely sure on all of these things is it a good time. (again, I personally would not like children though...)

I don't think what age to have a child is the right question, the better question would be are you finacially secure? Can you afford them?

Blackrose Kaire I don't think what age to have a child is the right question, the better question would be are you finacially secure? Can you afford them? The age is just as important. What about maturity? Do you have to go to school? Are you physically and mentally prepared to have a child?

Must you be so pessimistic? razz But I understand that there could be some complications in marrying at that young of an age, and with child rearing. I said that age because younger pregnancies (though not under the age of twenty) could possibly result in healthier children than with parents who are thirty-five or older. As for the other comment, yeah, I left some things out.

Agh! What's happening to me!!!) Yes, you'd probably be well fit (physically) for having a child, but I'd say it should start in your later 20's and not the earlier 20's just as a precaution.

I agree,I think you need both, but my comment was intended for the person who made the thread,I wasn't referring that to all women in general, because I was assuming she's mature enough and all that stuff for a child. sweatdrop So please don't get me wrong I'm not trying to say stuff like "Oh,who gives a damn if your only 14,as long as you have money, then pop out all the babies you want" because I certainly didn't mean anything like that by that. smile

Just poking fun, is all mrgreen (glass is half empty/half full). But yes, I know how divorces can affect small children, having been through one when I was four. And I agree.

in my opinion I've wanted kids since i was 15 (I'm 21 btw) but i am a very responsible person and I'm waiting till i can afford them. age really doesn't mean anything if you can't physically take care of them. i mean what good is having kids if you can't spoil them once in a while right, but thats just my opinion.
